Birkenstocks are the BEST sandal out there. They fit comfortably and have the best support for your feet. This is my favorite style I've found. Love love love!

really like these shoes, and they are comfortable. The problem is that after just 1 year, the footbed is cracking. I think they should have lasted much longer>

After reading numerous reviews and checking the fit and comfort in stores, I decided to get the silver Gizeh in a size 35. My foot size is 5.5-6 in most shoes and I found that in Birkenstock, I had to get a size down to a 35 vs. a 36 (a women's size 5). The fit is great and the color is neutral to wear with everything all summer long. The silver color is a true silver with a little shine. Zappos was the only site to carry this smaller size and most stores only carried size 36 as the smallest size. Happy with this purchase.

I cannot describe how much I love these shoes! I have a wide foot and plantar fasciitis, and I can walk comfortably everywhere in these shoes. The comfort, combined with the style of these sandals, make these a hit! If I could afford it, I would buy a pair in every color!

I really want to love these because they are so comfortable, but I just can't get over the Flintstone look. That said, as far as Birkenstocks go, they are the cutest style ... just not for me.

This is my second pair of Gizeh's from birks - I absolutely love them. My first pair lasted me 5 years and I really beat the crap out of them, so I was impressed they lasted so long (I'm told you can have them repaired instead of replaced, but I'm a bit too lazy to figure out how that process works). I reordered the exact same style and color which is rare for me, I usually want to switch things up but these were just so great that I ordered identical replacements. They are hands down the most comfortable sandals I've ever owned. The plastic thong piece doesn't bother me at all, but I guess that has to do with the individual shape of ones feet/toes. The style is great, a bit more feminine than some of the other birks styles. I have the black and they go with just about everything. They are casual but you can get away with them at nicer events too (great for someone like me who loathes heels and ballet flats alike). My only real complaint would be that they're not really supposed to get wet. I wouldn't say it ruins them but the surface of the footbed is definitely not the same after. Still, 13/10 would recommend.

I ordered a pair larger than usual as Zappos didn't stock the wide shoe--and it was way too long. So I ordered my regular size in the medium width and low-and-behold, after three days of breaking the shoe in, it fits beautifully. I love the style of the shoe and am so happy it now fits. Great shoe! Zappos. where are the wide shoes?!

The piece between the toes was very stiff and caused pain in my feet. Also footbed is very stiff. Loved these shoes and really wanted to keep them, but must return. Can't afford $100 for uncomfortable shoes. Arch support was great though and my feet did not pronate while trying them on.

Love Love Love these shoes. I bought them in white last summer for a 2 week trip to disney world & universal studios. I have achy feet & typically need to change my shoes 3 times per day. But not with these. They withstood a full day of walking around. I'm here for my second pair. This time in black!!! Super excited!!!

First of all let's talk about Zappos speedy overnight shipping with their App and amazing customer service!!! For the Birks...buy them you won't be disappointed! I wear a steady 7.5 shoe and ordered a 37. I have a narrow heel, moderate arch, and wider foot. Make sure you wear them for several hours before going out in them or you WILL be disappointed! They take time. Also, make sure you buckle that strap so your foot does not slide around. I love these stylish sandals so much!!!

I like these sandals a lot. Only thing is they run very big. I'm usually a size 9 and a half and these run much more like a 10. The only thing I dislike is the toe piece rubs on my big toe and rubs my nail polish off as I walk.

Amazing comfort and style! I had to order a size down though. I am usually a 6 or 6.5. but needed these in a 5 to 5.5. Fits like a glove. And they last forever!!

I absolutely love these birkenstocks! As some have said, they need to be broken in and are a bit uncomfortable for the first few days. I have these and the mayari and between those two, they're the only shoes I wear all summer. I'm always a 7 and I got the 38 in both the gizeh and the mayari. I could have fit in the 37 but the 38 was more comfortable.

This is actually my second pair of Gizehs. The first pair lasted me five years, so I'm optimistic this second pair will go the distance. I'm typically an 8, but I wear a 38 in Birkenstock sandals. This time around I've also found that a narrow is more comfortable for me, so give it a shot if you're in the fence. That's the great thing about Zappos; I was able to buy both sizes and keep the ones that fit me best. Quick and easy returns.

I love these shoes, these are my summer go to shoes, I can wear them with shorts or dress them up with a summer dress. I have had over the years a navy, patent leather and now the onyx. They are so comfortable and I know I'm not doing damage to my feet or back when I wear them.
