I've been wearing Birks for years. Mostly the Arizona style that are very wide and less complimentary. I finally decided I wanted to try the Gizeh. I'm a size 8 in regular shoes but have always worn a 38 in Birks so that's what I ordered. I wear thong sandals a lot so the toe piece wasn't an issue. The only thing I noticed is that these are narrower than the Arizona style. I have a bunion on my left big toe and it does bump up a bit on the side of the sandal. With a bit of breaking in they are fine. They are also much cuter than the Arizona style.

So glad the Birkenstocks are socially acceptable again! I probably should have spent the additional $$ to get the next level up for more arch support and a softer footbed. These will get me through summer of 2018 in moderate comfort and style.

Very happy with my first pair of Birkenstock's! I got the glossy white color...super cute and go with everything. Perfect for summer. I have plantar fasciitis, so I need shoes with support. I ordered a half size down based on reviews. (6.5 vs 7 M)

Way too narrow and I normally wear a narrow

Seems a bit big but the narrows were way too narrow which is what I normally wear. Kept them though because I’ll make them work since they’re so cute!

I loved these sandals, but they were way too large.

Love me some Birkenstocks! My last pair wore out after a few years so this was a replacement pair. Yes, they aren't cheap but they are worth every penny!

Super comfy! These are my first birkenstocks and I will definitely buy more pairs. The straps are adjustable which were nice.

This is my second pair and they are my go to sandal in the summer. Slip them on and you are ready to go. Very comfortable and love the color

I've owned these shoes for nearly 3 years and I can't believe I am just now writing a review! These have been my go-to Spring/Summer shoe & they are still holding up great - just as comfy as ever & just now starting to look a tad not fresh. Although I wore them to a 3-day music festival when I first purchased them & they DID chafe between the toes, they were still new & that seems normal after a 10-hour wear. That said, I haven't had a problem with them since. These are still going to be my go-to summer shoe, but this may be the last season before they're relegated to garden shoes or run-to-the-grocer shoes... not too bad, considering how much use I've gotten over the past 3 years. :)

I have wanted these shoes for quite some time but stayed away because 1. I feel my feet are large to begin with 2. I thought these would be make my feet look “clownish” and not feminine. I just recently saw them on someone else and thought they looked so cute on, I had to try. So I bought a size 8 and they fit perfect and in my opinion look super cute. So glad I took the chance. They have the typical Birkenstock foot bed (natural arch support) which for me is great...I don’t have any issues keeping them on all day.

A really really comfortable sandal. Great arch support which I need (since both of my arches have collapsed) and also helps with my lower back pain. A little chunky but you can style these sandles with almost any outfit. I've worn this sandle almost every day and my feet are never sore. It did take a few days to break in but the process wasn't painful. With good care and maintenance these Birkenstocks can last a very long time.

I ordered one size smaller than I typically wear and HUGE. UGH!!!! A waste of my time.

Beautiful sandals! Arch support felt amazing, but, I have long toes that bump the end of the sandal, making them uncomfortable. A size up would be too big. Sadly returning.

I ordered these shoes in silver, and they're so cute! They look great with jeans or a dress. When I first put them on, the left shoe felt really comfortable, but the right shoe sort of hurt. I wore them around the house for awhile, and the right shoe became more comfortable. Then I wore them out for a night--and I walked quite a bit around the downtown area. While they still weren't as comfortable as my older Birks, they felt okay. Next, I took them to Austin for a conference and wore them when I walked downtown for dinner. It must have been too much walking too soon, because I ended up with blisters at the base of my second toe on both feet. I think it's just going to take a bit of time to break them in, but it took awhile to break in my older pair, too. Birks are totally worth the break-in period, though, because once they're broken in, they're almost as comfortable as my Nikes--no one ever compliments me on my Nikes, though. ;)

I was asked to answer a question about this Birkenstock regarding the width. I hit submit accidentally. So to answer the customers question: I’m not sure if I have regular or narrow. But, without going back and risking the msg getting sent prematurely I would say If given a choice I always choose regular. I’m a true size 7 and because, i needed them for a trip to universal studios Florida I ordered both the size 6 & 7. I’m so glad I did because the size 7 was too big. The 6 fit perfect and I’m a true size 7. I walked a ton while on our vacation and my feet never gave me any problems. Although, just to make sure I did wear them around my house for the few days before our trip to break them in.

Another cute style to update the basic Birkenstock sandal. Same great sole with a T/flip flop style. Very comfortable.

Feels great! Usually a medium in width never knew I could fit comfortably in narrow but excellent choice and findings on my part. First time I try Birkenstock. Would order more but in many styles Thank you Zappos

Immediately comfortable, love the style, but be warned — the toffee is actually a shiny copper color. Was not expecting that from the picture on the website. Not terrible, just unexpected.

I luv Birks but I just understand the toe post on this sandal, it's so hard & uncomfortable
