I love these Birks so much that this is my second pair. I wore the first pair into the ground (I live in a winter-less place) and sadly got them wet/sandy at the beach and then left them in a bag to rot, which was totally my fault. Lasted a solid 3 years prior to that incident! Ordered a replacement of an identical pair and they feel SO GOOD to have back. I think they're wonderfully comfortable; if you aren't used to wearing flipflops (with a thong between your small toes and your big toe) these will take some getting used to, but after that you'll love them.

I need something for my vacation that can go from pool side to evening on the town. I know Birks are super fashionable now so I figured I will give it a try First things first they must be perfect fit or they rub your foot, must break them in at home or they will rub your foot. Not very good for the beach but i still took them. Perfect for casual wear and pretty much worked with all of my outfits.

I really love these sandals. In sandals, I am normally a 7 1/2, but I ordered an 8 and they fit perfectly. They are comfortable and stylish; very happy with the purchase.

I have worn Gizeh for over 15 years and am just replacing some now. They are my most comfortable shoes. The only negative that I have to say, where are the flowers and patterns? I see so many in gizeh kids but not for adults. I loved the choices I have had over the years....bring them back!

Between these and the Mayari, the mayari is comfortable right out of the box. The Gizeh, however, feels odd near the bottom of my foot by the big toe and second toe. They may break in with time but I’m hesitant to try that because by the time it’s figured out they wouldn’t be returnable. The Mayari is a win because it’s more comfortable right off the bat and a bit cuter on my ugly feet. Oh... I can’t forget to mention that Zappos is the best ever!!!!!!!!

I'm a true 9 and I find that size 39 fits me perfectly. This is my 3rd pair! I wear them all the time and they last for about a year ( I live in Southern CA so I wear them year-round). I get lots of compliments on the color.

It took a few wears to get used to wearing more supportive shoes than just regular flip flops but I’m in LOVE with these!!! My order came super quick and these are now my favorite shoes that I own!!

This is my 3rd pair of Birkenstock in the same style. I’m a bit disappointed with the fact that I was now unable to get the previous one fixed rather than buy new; I wish this brand was a bit more conscious. It used to be that they would redo the cork sole if the leather straps were intact. It’s not the case anymore. It also used to be quality, real materials like leather straps and cork sole and now it’s all synthetic stuff- for the same expensive price. Other than that o have deep arches and love hiking and these sandals allow me to go on an easy hike, or to use for more everyday Wear... they conform to your foot after just a couple of Weeks and fit you like a glove with great arch support. The big toe will not hurt unless you bought the wrong size; go half a size bigger than you would usually for extra comfort; i kinda fall right in between two sizes, so I wish they had half sizes. Don’t put on salt water it will destroy them. I often get compliments about their style.

i have recently developed plantar Facitis and these feel very supportive. I love the color, theyll be great for summer.

I purchased as a gift for my daughter. She loves them. They are so comfortable.

I bought these as a gift for my daughter-in-law, who is a kindergarten teacher. She is on her feet all day and needs comfortable shoes for warmer seasons. She loves them for comfort and style. I got the matte black and I especially love that color. Thanks Zappos!

I have a couple of pairs of the Gizeh (silver and black birko-flor) and wear them endlessly through the spring and summer, and they're still going strong! This is also a great style if you're new to Birkenstocks because I find them to be more versatile than the classic Arizona; these are visually lighter and fit more securely. While I still don't understand Birkenstock's sizing at all (I usually wear somewhere between an 8 or 9, and I'm a 37 in Birks which supposedly is a women's 6 - 6.5!), they are at least consistent across their brand. I'm a big Birkenstock fan now and will never need to wear flimsy flip flops as summer shoes again. If you have high arches like me, you will particularly appreciate these!

I have been waiting to get a pair of these for a while. I have another pair of Birks in the mocha/taupe color, though I was never a fan of the color as it wasn't a true brown and more of a grey-brown. The toffee color is was exactly what I was looking for (a brown that matches with more outfits). The toffee color is very cute, and these are super comfy shoes (after the breaking-in period).

It took me a while to find the right fit for these. I have a different style of Birkenstock sandals in a 38 that fit perfectly. I needed these in a 37. I went to a Birkenstock store to try on some styles and sizes. She explained that some styles are narrow causing the larger size (38 - more like my regular size of 8) to fit smaller while the regular styles (not narrow) run larger therefore I needed a 37. My toes go right to the edge in the front, but I’m hoping that’ll mold down as I break them in.

Still amazing after all these years!!! I haven't purchased Birkenstock's since 1992. I'm still wearing the old ones, but will love this cool silver style just as much. I ordered a half size smaller after reading the reviews and am glad I did. They are perfect just out of the box.

OK, I grew up in the 60's and this is the first pair of Birkenstock's I have ever purchased. My husband has worn them for years but I always thought they were not very attractive. This style is really nice. The color is beautiful and most of all they are SO COMFORTABLE!!! I have a size 11 foot and they fit perfect and have so much support! I know I will be living in them this spring and summer! So glad I gave them a try and I totally recommend you try them too!!

This is a cute style that fits a little narrower than some of the other styles (like the Arizona). These are a bit more stylish and can pair well with a cute summer dress. The sizing seems really consistent across Birkenstock styles. I ordered my usual size and they fit perfectly. They're super comfortable, of course.

Beautiful blue color, the footbed molded to my feet nicely. A word of warning, though - if the footbed gets too worn, it starts to stick to the bottom of your foot and cause blisters. You can refresh the footbed with water and baking soda to make it like new again.

These were huge. I am normally a size 10 (41), but these 41 shoes were even big on my husbands feet. They were labeled 41, but think there must have been an error in the factory because these were at least two sizes bigger than that. I love Birkenstocks but sadly had to sent them back

Great support at a full size larger than normal. Returned. Will have to find a brick-and -mortar store to try Birkenstocks, as there are too many variables in their styles to be able to order online successfully.

I love these things! I fought getting into Birkenstocks for years, and I had always worn simple rubber flip flops on the weekends, which of course have no support. My pilates teacher has told me for a long time how terrible they are, and I realized my cat likes to chew on the Havianas, so I decided to take the plunge and buy a pair of Birks. I think the Gizeh is one of the more feminine styles, and I wanted to have something to keep my foot stable. I was told that at first, it takes a few wearings to get used to these shoes, and that is definitely the case. I wear a 10 in tennis shoes and boots, and that size was just too big, so I sized down and got the 9. These sandals are like shoes without a top. On the weekends, and mostly when not at work, I just want an easy slip on/slip off shoe and I hate to wear shoes and socks. After wearing these for four days in a row, I am thrilled with them! They cradle your foot and support them like nothing else I have worn. At first they felt hard, but now I am used to them. I think this is a start to a new era in weekend and casual footwear for me.

Love the look of these. Grew up with berkenstocks. I’m a 7.5-8. I needed the 7/7.5 and the 8/8.5 were too big.

I usually wear a 10 in boots and tennis shoes, but the 40 in these sandals felt way too big. I sized down to the 39 and they fit perfectly. This is a very preliminary review right now as I have yet to wear these with regularity, but did want to let people know that these run big.

These are my third pair of Birkenstocks and they are a great addition! Definitely a more "dressier" option than the Arizona style. Love them!
