I usually wear an 8 to 8 1/2, but the 38 fit me perfectly (38=7 to 71/2 according to Birkenstock). These are really comfortable, stylish sandals.

This is my third pair and I love them still. I bought the black licorice and they have just a bit of shine to them which is what I wanted. Love these shoes!

I take a US size 8 typically but I always opt for a size 38 in my Birk sandals. Love the weight of this sandal (very light) combined with the excellent arch support. The color seems a bit lighter than photographed but goes with a lot of my teacher clothes and casual clothes. Highly recommend!

The footbed in this sandal simply does not fit my foot. The contouring under the base of the toes cut into my foot and made it uncomfortable to walk in. They are popular, but not for me, I wanted to like them - a wearer of Birkenstock sandals for over 40 years.

So I will start off by saying my feet are not narrow, but a standard width, however in these sandals my feet are definitely a narrow width, so bare that in mind for sizing. I typically where a size 7D/R and the 38 narrow fits perfectly. I'm still breaking them in, but they are oh so comfortable! Can't wait for warm weather so I can wear them!

Usually wear a 40, ordered a 39 in these. Perfect fit. Little break in time required but overall very satisfied

Fit as expected. Consistent with all other Birkenstock products I've purchased.

I usually wear a 9.5 up to a 10. I originally ordered the 9-9.5 and they were too small so the 10-10.5 were fine. They really are more like whole sizes.

This was my second time purchasing a pair of Gizeh’s and I also own the Mayari style. I love all three. It does take a bit to get used to the thong portion of the Gizeh but once they’re broken in, you won’t notice it anymore. I wear a 10 in all shoes but in Birkenstock sandals I’m a 40.

Super comfy sandals. I am in between 8 1/2 and 9. Although 9-91/2 is slightly too big, 8-81/2 is too small. I love the comfort of the shoe and decided to keep it for that reason. A refreshing update to old flip flops. The arch support is like a mini massage for my feet. Love it.

I have been wearing the Gizeh style for more years than I can remember. They are my go to sandal in warm weather. I love the look and the comfort. Plus they last for years. Although my regular US shoe size in 7-7 1/2, I have always worn Euro size 37 (6-6 1/2) in Birkenstocks.

Fortunately I had friends and reviews so I knew it could take 3 weeks to break the shoes in. It was painful in the beginning before the ridge under the toe wore down. Although I was told the shoe would shape to my foot, that has not happened. I have a high arch, and there is no arch support. My podiatrist recommended Birkenstocks over Vionic (especially since Vionic changed their design and lowered the arch support). My feet are tired at the end of the day with no support and I sometimes have pain in the big toe joint. I really wanted to love these shoes. I waited 3 weeks before writing this to see how the shoes would fit.

I am so disappointed that Birkenstock changed this style in the toe thing and it is extremely uncomfortable. This would have been my 4th pair of this style and have been my go-to shoes for many summers. I still have my old ratty pair which I’m going to look into getting re-corked. I am so sad that this style is no longer one I can buy for every day wear. The Mayari seems to still be the same but it didn’t have the same look as the Gizeh. These will sadly be going back. On the bright side—Zappos has excellent service and returns so I’ll be ordering a different style.

I love these shoes! I know some people may not like the looks of these shoes but they are so comfortable! I have worn them all day and don't get sore feet as I would when wearing other sandals. I wore these to the Masters and to Disney World...all dat walking! I highly recommend if you're looking for a comfortable and cute (IMO) sandal!

My favorite! I purchase this pair every year! I usually wear mine all spring/summer long and by the end of summer, they don't look at nice. Since I like to dress them up as well as down, I prefer to purchase a new pair yearly. However, they certainly still look great going into the second year. Worth the price and a super cute style!

I love these Birks. My only qualm is how dirty the inside soles get and how difficult they are to clean

OK, so I've had multiple pairs of the leather Gizeh sandals over the years, and I LOVE them. I got a pair of these, with the Birko-flor material instead, and I have to say they're...fine? I find the fuzzy backing of the material itchy in the heat, and it leaves a gray stain on my feet if I sweat in them. So they work OK for moderately cool days, but I thought I'd be reaching for these constantly, and instead I wind up dragging out my beat-up leather ones.

This was my first pair of Birkenstocks and I am hooked! They are super cute and don't take long to form to your footbed. Love this style!

This is my second pair of this model. Ordered the same size for each but the 2nd pair felt a little snugglier. For my next purchase I will probably get a half size above.

Purchased at 8 mos. pregnant when no other shoes fit and the warm weather set in. Nice amount of support, adjustable, comfortable to walk in and the color goes with *everything*. Was never a Birkenstock person but desperate times introduced me to my new favorite sandal.

I love Birks, but the part between the toes on these is ridiculously uncomfortable. These also felt stiff, but if I remember correctly with my pair of classic Birks, that goes away once you break them in a bit.
