I just want to say Zappos is amazing. I placed my order and had my shoes 12 hours later! How do they do that??

I love these shoes. I wear them all the time. I have a bunion and plantar fasciitis and they feel wonderful on my feet.

Love these sandals! Have two pairs already. They are my go to in the summer.

The fit was perfect. I typically wear a size 7-7.5 shoe and size 37 in Birkenstock’s is a perfect fit. I ordered a couple of different styles and this one wasn’t my favorite. They did fit well though.

I had never owned a pair of Birkenstock sandals so I thought I would give them a try. They were not for me; I did not find them comfortable at all. They're too expensive to not be comfortable.

I had to order a few pair of these to find the right fit - and it's complicated because I have one foot larger than the other by 1/2 size - but once I figured out I needed to go a 1/2 size down (and break them in around the house for several days) they are a DREAM!

As with most Birkenstocks there is a break-in period and the shoes just get better with wear. The first pair of black Gizeh I received had a pretty noticeable scratch on the buckle and part of the cork around the toe box was ripped off. Zappos was wonder to exchange and send me a new pair. I love their next business day delivery! I have 4 pairs of the Gizeh's along with an EVA pair I love them all.

I had bought the 39’s (8.5-9) previously and my pinky toe rubbed on the hard edge so this time I bought the 40 (9-9.5). The length is at least a 1/2 size more than I need but it ended the rubbing of my pinky toe so the fit is ok. They are going to take awhile to become comfortable as the thong part is a very hard material but once I build up callouses I’m sure they will be fine. I’m keeping them because I love the look of them and I know that after a lot of wear they will be my favorite sandals.

These sandals run a bit large. I usually wear a 10 Ladies and had to order the 40 (9-9.5). The toe thong & bottom does take awhile to break in, but once they've broken in, they fit & feel amazing. Excellent support! I love Birkenstocks- they last forever! I still have a pair from high school.

I’m trying to get use to the strap between my toes. It can rub a little on my great toe.

Second pair of Gizeh for me. Love them

My first pair of Birks were this same style in licorice. I followed the advice of reviewers and ordered a 37 (I'm a 7.5). They fit but just barely. The tips of my toes were often touching the edge. But I prefer to have a shoe that just fits as opposed to being a bit big so I kept them. The break-in period was painful (the bump between the toes that others mention), but eventually I worked them in and wore them all the time for four years. The footbed eventually got a bit gross and I wanted a nice new pair for traveling. I decided to try the recommended size this time (38) and I can confirm that the fit is better. Absolutely no pain associated with initial wearing. So if you want them to fit like a glove, go a size smaller, but be prepared for painful break in period. If you want them comfy straight out of the box, go with the sizes Zappos recommends.

The onyx color has a bluish gray color it isn’t gray/black. It’s a very pretty color. I wear a 7 but always wear 36 in Birkenstocks.

I see people wearing these all the time and they look so cute but they looked goofy on me! The thong part between my toes was too big and got in the way when I walked. Unfortunately I had to return them.

Had to return these - ordered the regular width but felt quite narrow across the top of my foot and I normally have to order narrow shoes for my heel.

Bought a 39, the size I wear in the Mayari style. Was not comfortable! Hard to believe, being a Birk, right?! Wanted the color Onyx SO badly, checked every site to try and find it in the Mayari style. To my disappointment, NOT available. So thought I would try ANOTHER Gizeh Onyx, THIS time one size bigger, a 40. BAM, PERFECT. The biggest issue I had with the Gizeh size 39 was the toe post. Very uncomfortable!! So, I know I have read other reviews regarding this same issue, I say, it doesn't hurt trying a size bigger. It worked for me! :)

I love these shoes. Birkenstock's make my feet feel great, no need for orthotics!

Put these on and felt immediate comfort with my flat feet and irritated knee. They do need a break in period, so I've been wearing them on and off to break them in, and they are getting more comfortable each time! The style goes with just about anything. These will be my go to summer shoes!

Not crazy about these. The man made upper is very uncomfortable and the were a size to big. If you like the style go down a size and pay the extra money for the leather.

I’m usually a size 8 but had to get the 38 because the 39 was too large. So comfy and i love the style!

These fit perfectly. I am a size 8.5 and ordered a 39. Perfect. Sadly I do not like the color and will be sending them back

I'm late to the Birkenstock party, but these are amazing! Great arch support, comfortable out of the box. So pleased with the style too...super cute!

I got my usual Birkenstock size 39, I am a size 8. I love these. I have several styles and I think I like these the best. Very comfortable and can even dress them up a bit.

I live in my birkenstocks!!! Absolutely nothing is cuter or more comfy!
