I ordered Narrow shoes, but my box said M. I'm not sure I was shipped the correct shoes, but they are not narrow. The footbed is wide still, even though you can tighten the strap (you look like a goof with a shoe that is too wide).

I absolutely love the look of this style and do wear flip flops often, however the toe thing was to uncomfortable, I tried it and didn't like it, I returned the shoes. And will reorder another pair.

Fortunately I had friends and reviews so I knew it could take 3 weeks to break the shoes in. It was painful in the beginning before the ridge under the toe wore down. Although I was told the shoe would shape to my foot, that has not happened. I have a high arch, and there is no arch support. My podiatrist recommended Birkenstocks over Vionic (especially since Vionic changed their design and lowered the arch support). My feet are tired at the end of the day with no support and I sometimes have pain in the big toe joint. I really wanted to love these shoes. I waited 3 weeks before writing this to see how the shoes would fit.

Love the shoe. However, the tong between the big toe and second toe is not leather, it's plastic and hurts mu big toe. At first I thought I could wear it in but realized it was plastic not leather.

Love the style, and the comfort is good--except for the rigid plastic thong for the toe. This hurts my foot. Don't understand why Birkenstock would go to all the trouble of molded cork footbed, etc, and then use a hard plastic thong. At least wrap the dang thing in foam, eh?

Having never worn Birkenstock before but knowing many who had and being desperate for a white shoe with support, I was willing to give these a try - ugh! They are so stiff, I could barely take walking around on the carpet just to try them out, definitely not my cup of tea. Too bad, they are super cute and the fit was great!

I had to return a pair when this style just came out. I don't understand why they don't make the thong more comfortable. I love the style and tried all sorts of fixes but they didn't work out. What's up with that? And so many people that can put up with it?

OK, these are fine if all you are doing is standing around, but try walking three city blocks and they turn into a torture device. Between the toes! I don't know what shoe-makers are thinking; have they tried on these shoes? I can't be the only one. I've been looking for a comfortable pair of slide-on sandals to replace the el cheapo Target shoes I bought in 2006 and haven't had the best of luck. These shoes are cute, in a hippie-dippy kind of way, and like I said, they are OK if you are standing around, but I don't just stand around, so they were a big waste of money for me.

Bought these last year, so I have been wearing them for 2 summers. The "birko-flor" is uncomfortable, I would never buy them again. It's hard and inflexible, and in no way compares to the regular Birkenstocks. Runs small, by one size.

The faux leather upper on the upper made these look cheap. In addition, I am a true size 7 and the size 38 was huge on me! I was hoping to like this one instead of the more expensive real leather version. But these are is going back. As always, I do have to commend Zappos on their excellent service! I did not love these sandals, but I absolutely love Zappos!

So cute... but a for a price. I have the Gizah in black, and they are really lovely to look at. They look great with jeans or a skirt. But man, oh man... the rubber thong is a killah. The thong has left the spots between my toes shredded after a couple of months of trying to break them in to no avail. Try the Wolky Serenity... I love that shoe.

Uncomfortable where toe bands are located. They are stiff and dig into my toes. Do not feel like they will ever be flexible enough to be comfortable Also the material is certainly less dense and sturdy from my other Birkenstock sandals.

This was a disappointing purchase. The cork is cracking and the top layer of the footbed is already lifting. They’re only a couple of months old and wear them just a few days a week.

I love the style and look of this shoe, but the shoe was way too big. I am having trouble with Birkenstock shoes as it relates to consistent fit. No two pairs are the same. So sad as they used to be the best shoes for these old tires feet.

Like many other brands, there has been a noticeable decline in quality. These did not even last one season before the cork sole cracked where the ball of my foot sits. I am so disappointed. I used to love these shoes because they lasted forever and were a dream to walk in. They used to last 2-3 years, now I'm lucky to get 6 months of regular wear. This is the second pair that has not held up. They are too expensive to be disposable shoes. Very disappointed and will not purchase again.

Yet again, something that backs up the claim that "they don't make them like they used to." The buckles are made of lightweight plastic as opposed to metal. Not what I expected from Birkenstock nor what I expect of any shoe that costs over $100. Cheap garbage. It wasn't that long ago that I got a pair that was made with a metal buckle. Maybe it's Zappos. Returning and will try ordering directly from Birkenstock.

I really wanted to love these shoes but they run small and when you already wear a size 11, you do not have the option to go up a size.

I really wanted to keep these but the toe separation really hurts! Sadly I had to return and I'm trying another style.

Great Purchase! Great looking, comfortable sandal. A bit risky for me, but am so glad I purchased them! Not so sure I won’t have them in another color before long!

The cork cracked within six months of wearing them. They look great and I LOVE the silver, but they just do not measure up to the Birk quality that I've experienced in the past.

I loved seeing women in Italy wearing this style Birkenstocks, but when they arrived, they fit fine, but there is a ridge that I found VERY uncomfortable at the base of my foot. For that reason, I had to return them.

Love the shoes, but I received the incorrect ones. I ordered the black patent leather, but got the regular black. Also., they were sent without the box. If the box were included, maybe someone could have checked to make sure they were sending the correct shoes.
