I am very happy with my new sandals. They are exactly as described. The Gizeh is well made and the thong style is great. I am a true size 8 and following the suggestion's of other reviewers ordered one size down (38). They fit perfect. I will be ordering again from Zappos for sure!

They're amazing. They're really cute and extremely comfortable. My mom is huge on arch support and as soon as mine came in, she tried them on and said she has to get a pair of her own now. I wear anywhere between a 7 and an 8 1/2, but most of my shoes are a 7 1/2 and I got the 38 and they fit perfect. I got them in golden brown and they're more of a dark gold metallic. Not extremely gold, but more gold than brown. Also, shipping was pretty quick, or at least in my book. I ordered on Friday late afternoon and they arrived Wednesday afternoon.

Ran about 1 size big (I am between an 8-8.5 and bought a 7-7.5 and that was perfect). Also, I have wide feet and often sandals are too narrow. These fit great Color: I bought the golden brown and I unfortunately had to exchange because the golden brown had an almost green tinge to it in person. I exchanged for the Mocha (still the Gizeh, but I think it shows up under another entry on Zappos) and this color is perfect. A deep, matte brown.

Very nice and well made. I am in between a 7 and 7 and 1/2. I wish I had ordered the 7 instead. I look forward to wearing them. Super comfy!

These are my favorite sandals ever! I have them in multiple colors, and wear them nearly year round (Texas is a good place for that).

I was looking for a sandal that was stylish, as well as very supportive and I love these shoes! Comfy, cute and wearable with most outfits. I got the metallic green and absolutely love them!

I love this shoe! It was also upgraded to overnight shipping (which usually happens whenever I order from Zappos). Amazingly comfortable! I can wear these when working on my feet all day with no problem.

These Birks are actually very cute on! I got the golden brown and they are a stylish metallic brown color. I love them! Plan to bring them on my February trip to Argentina and wear them in the cities with skirts and shorts! Definitely size down. I am a size 8 but fit into the size 37 Birks. I could probably even go down one more size, but am comfy in the 37s.

Had to send these back because my toes were uncomfortable at the edge of the shoe, and a larger size would not have worked for the rest of my foot.

Birkenstocks are the most comfortable sandals I know. They are a dream to walk on. Right now I have three different pair. Well worth the money. Zappos is a great discovery. Thank you for your wonderful service!

A beautiful shoe! Very comfortable. I am on my feet all day at work and this shoe is perfect for that kind of usage/abuse. I was a bit unsure of getting the purplish color, but I found that it goes with everything and the leather is unquestionably beautiful. I get loads of compliments!

Love these sandals. Bought them two years ago in Rome and have worn them nearly every day since. All the posh young Romans were wearing them! It is 50 degrees today and they are on. The most comfortable and stylish sandal ever!

Really like this sandal. I wear a 7.5 - 8 in US sizes and so I ordered the 38, but it was too long so Zappos sent me a 37 which fits great! I have plantar fasciitis in my right foot, and I was able to wear these shoes for days before I felt I needed more support.

I have high arches and need lots of support. I also have a tendency toward plantar fasciitis from wearing flip flops too much. These support my arches without "flipping" when I walk. I love them!

These are perfect. I wear them to class without feeling TOO hippy on my small liberal arts college campus. I bought them for a trip to India where they will get the ultimate test in durability - a semester abroad! I did have to adjust the straps a few days into wearing them because they stretch out as they conform to your feet. It wasn't a problem.

These shoes are great for the beach. Can get sandy and wet and dry out in no time. Great arch support.

This is a great sandal. I own this shoe in a few different colors. Don't let the thong style scare you off, it really is comfortable between the toes.

I absolutely love these sandals. They look so current while still being comfotrable. They go with nearly everything and are nicely adjustable across the arch to make the fit even better.

After watching a friend enjoy her silver Birkenstock shoes for half the summer, I decided it was time to get a pair for myself. The price was intimidating but it was so very worth it! These sandals are incredibly comfortable (I'm a distance runner and my feet take a beating so I put a premium on comfort) and random people have stopped me in the street to compliment their cuteness. Love these sandals!

What they say about Birkenstocks is true, "Once you put them on, you never want to take them off." This is my first pair (well, I had a pair when I was five, but the first in my adult life). I love them. They have very nice style, more feminine than the classic B style. I might have to get a pair in white too!

I got these because I'm pregnant and knew my feet would need room to grow. They (or my feet) needed to be broken in a bit, since I ended up with blisters on the soles of my feet after the first wear. I don't know if the strap had anything to do with it, but I now have this awful pain on the top of my right foot, like torn ligaments. Makes wearing these nearly impossible now. Also, I've seen this style in lighter colors on other people and think they look great, but the black pair I got is a little "orthopedic" looking. Not the ideal pair of footwear for now but as they're Birkenstocks, I'm sure I'll keep them around for years.

Bought these in black and they did not disappoint. As others have stated, they take a bit to get used to but once broken in, they are fabulous. Classic Birkenstock footbed with a more stylish thong look. I love these shoes! Also, I love Zappos! As always, top notch customer service and next day free delivery!
