I LOVE the look of these. I am going to keep the size I purchased (39, and I’m an 8 - 8 1/2). However, I felt as though I’m in between sizes. These felt slightly large, but I felt as though if I went down to the 38 they would be too small. That is my only complaint. I love the look. They’re comfortable. I noticed they felt much better if I tightened the straps.

My feet are still getting used to having support from a sandal (compared to cheap flip-flops), so give it some time to break in the shoe. I'm between 7.5-8 US size, on the wider side, and was swimming in the 39 regular width that I ordered first. Exchanging for the 38 regular width was easy, and they fit great (not much room width-wise, but that's not unusual for me).

Cute style. Great color. Fabulous support. But the thing between the toes is hard plastic and irritated my feet, so these are going back. Going to stick with my usual 2 strap Birks.

First of all, I LOVE the color that I chose in this product (Onyx) - would definitely love more Birk products in this color. I ordered size 35 (w) as that was the closest option for my usual size 6 foot that I believed would work. I have a fairly narrow foot and found the width to be on the wider side than what I am accustomed to, but it is still comfortable. The length was still a little long for me, but still comfortable. I think I know what other reviewers are referring to with the thong part being a little uncomfortable - compared to other flip-flops in general, and I think it is because the weight of the shoe is more substantial than most flip-flop shoes. So while I wouldn’t wear these for extended walking days (because of the thong/weight factor), I expect these to be perfect for my use - hanging out at camp and leisurely walks. I will certainly be looking for other Birk products in this great color though - love it!

Love this shoe! My first foray into Birkenstocks, which were recommended to me because of high arches and plantar factious. Very comfortable.

I love these shoes. I am right in-between sizes in Birkenstock, and I probably could have gone up to the larger size. I love the shiny black patent.

These sandals are so comfortable. I did notice a little bit of discomfort between my toes in the initial break in period (a few days) but after that they’re so comfortable it feels like I’m walking on a cloud.

loved the look of shoe but in this particular style, the piece between the toes was not comfortable, not flexible and felt like it was cutting into my foot. love all my other Birkenstocks !!

This was a really cute shoe but this particular style just looked awkward on my foot. The leather over the thong portion covered part of my big toe. I think I’ll get a pair of Arizona’s by Birkenstock. They will have a more streamline fit.

I really love these shoes but wished they had been available in "wide" since the regular width feels a little narrower than marked. Other than this issue the shoes are great as Birkenstocks usually are.

I have been wearing birkenstocks for ten years since i had a foot fracture. My podiatrist recommended i keep wearing them until my foot heals especially that i have a very high arch. I wear mary jane birkis and the felt softbed birkinstocks in winter. I just bought those gizeh and a word of caution, they take at least two weeks to break in. It took two weeks to get used to the not so soft thong part and the toes part especially but they gradually molded to my feet. I had to wear folded socks to break them in initially and only an hour a day then increased time.

I’ve been wearing Birkenstocks for a lot of years. This is my the second pair of Gizeh’s. They aren’t the most comfortable style due to the plastic piece between the toe. With that being said, I couldn’t resist the silver metallic color! They’re super cute and I’m glad to have them.

Dressier than most birks with the patent. I usually wear a size 8 and the 37 fit me.

I love this shoe, but sizing was tricky. I usually wear 8.5/9 and ended up in a 39. My feet are pretty narrow, but the narrow really didn't work. They are taking a bit of time to break in, but definitely starting to feel very comfortable. Love the style.

I had to go a size down. At first they are very hard, but are starting to get more comfortable.

The style, comfort and available colors to choose from were great. However, there seemed to be something off (for me anyway) when I buckled the strap and began to walk. The bend in the faux-leather looked odd. I ordered another pair in the oiled leather (way less color choices) to compare. The leather version was more comfortable and looked better, hands down. I returned the Birko-Flor for this reason and kept the leather version.

I am so disappointed these did not work out for me. They are really great looking sandals but they run way too big, in fact, I think more than a full size larger on me.

These sandals took a little while to get used to. I got a blister in between my toes from the hard plastic thong after a long leisurely walk. Ouch! Now that I'vd worn them for about a dozen times, they're more comfy but will not be wearing them if I plan on walking a lot.

The arch support was great but not in the right place of my foot, ended up hurting me all day and enable to walk with them.. I love the sandals and I hate the fact that i have to return them because of that :(

Podiatrist recommended for heel spur pain and my feet feel great!

This shoe definitely runs large. I typically wear a 6.5W or a 7 so I ordered a 37 (6-6.5). I'm returning them for a 36. Also, I was not a fan of the upper -- I expected it to feel more like leather, but it felt more like felt on the inside and like a very thin patent leatherish texture on top. It felt very light weight and I'm not confident that it would hold up well over time. I'm getting the new pair in leather.

very cute and mostly comfortable except for the piece between the toes. i'm hoping that gets better with time, as they get broken in.

These were my first pair of Birkenstock sandals. I'm usually a 7.5 to an 8 in shoes and was recommended to go with the 38. I ended up going with the 38 and they fit perfectly. My heel fits perfectly in the heel cup and my arch lines up with the arch support in the sandal. I feel like if I went with the 39 they would have been big and my feet wouldn't fall in the right places. I'm still in the process of breaking these sandals in. When I first got them, they hurt my feet so much but now they are starting to feel more and more comfortable (it's been a few days since I received them). The process kind of reminds me of when I was breaking in my Chaco sandals. Haha. I really like the style and how diverse the sandal is. You can dress them up and wear them with dresses or wear them with shorts and jeans for a more casual look. I highly recommend getting these.
