I ordered the my size but the sandals were too big; I had to go a size smaller. At first the shoes were hard but with time I know they will mold to my feet.

The footbed of this shoe was super comfortable. The toe piece, on the other hand...it feels like a piece of hard plastic. I wear thong style sandals all the time and have never had a toe piece bother me, but one of these gave me a huge, nasty blister right between my toes over the course of the first few days I wore them. But...I used bandaids and broke the shoes in and now they are good. It just seems like another choice of material would be possible and better in this sandal. I think they run a bit small. I wear 8.5-9 and had to return the 39. It was just a bit too short. The 40 is the perfect size. I do not regret buying the shoe despite the blister. Now that they are broken in, they are great. Just keep a few bandaids on hand for the first few days!

This is bizarre, bought this sandal in regular fit in a different color and width wise fit my foot. The color was more of a brown than a red than I liked so returned for a black gizeh, same size, regular width and fits just like the pair of narrow gizeh I already own which are a little too narrow for my foot (they're the EVA kind so they sort of flexed with time to fit my foot more). Don't know why one pair fit me and now what is supposed to be the same size doesn't? Returning.

As I’m no longer in my 20s I appreciate good support in my shoes. Birkenstocks are wonderful. The Gizeh style runs big for me. I have a 39 in another style and I go for those much more often. I hesitate to grab these ones because they’re just a touch big behind my heel. Otherwise these are great summer sandals.

My daughter has been wearing Birkenstocks Gizeh for years and swears by their comfort. They look a little cloddy to me and because my foot is very narrow, I didn’t thInk they would fit me. I was pleasantly surprised to see that there is a narrow option on Zappos, so I took a chance. I am between an 8 and 81/2 and the 39s were the perfect length. If you get the right size and your foot arch lines up with the very good arch on the shoe, your toe doesn’t even hit the toe divider and it is perfectly comfortable from the outset. I bought these in the graceful pearl white because I wanted something light for the beach. They are actually very pretty and more feminine in that color and yes they are incredibly comfortable!

Always love birks but these run alittle big in the back.

I originally bought a 39, my usual size. Wasn’t sure if it was supposed to fit the way it did. It seemed big. Ordered a 38 (one size down) and the fit is perfect. If you are going to order these shoes, order one size down. They run big.

High quality, comfortable sandal. However, the color is closer to beige than rose.

I love the color and style but it seems a little too big. I am normally a 39. I am waiting for the 38 to see if that fit is better.

I’ve had other Birkenstock’s before, but I had to return my usual size b/c the toe box was too short on this style & my toes were rubbing up against the front/sides...weird! So for me, I had to go up a size. Zappos is sooo good about returns! The exchange process was easy over the app, print label & take to UPS store. I received the exchanged pair in less than 24hrs after putting in my online exchange request! Incredible! Way to go Zappos! ?Birkenstock’s and Zappos...perfect combo! Can’t go wrong with either!?? I’ll be back for me?

Super cute and perfect fit in my usual Birkenstock size, but, like many reviewers, I’m having trouble adjusting to the toe post. It’s pretty uncomfortable, which is surprising, since I’m a flip flop person and the toe post isn’t rough or overly large. I plan to keep walking around in the house to see if it improves.

My Birkenstock’s were 9 years old and need to be replaced. I love the look and color of the silver. There is a bit of uncomfortable pressure on my right great toe. I will not be able to walk miles and miles in these Birkenstock’s like I did my old ones.

Recent birks I’ve bought have a rougher foot bed. I wish these came in soft foot . The color is very pretty. Will return and I may get size larger. I use to fit in 36 but in past year I have to get 37 I think there sizes changed a bit. It is also weird have narrow feet and the 36 to narrow and they shouldn’t feel narrow. It was a regular width shoe. But luckily I can return for free. So if you not sure which size to get other 2 sizes and return the one that doesn’t fit.

Fit great, the piece between the toes hurts a little bit. I am hoping to break them in.

I’m a size 7 in US sizes and almost always a 37 inEuropean sizes. I followed Zappos size guide for these and bought the 38, and they were too big. If you are a 7, get the 37. I also decided I didn’t like the faux leather - concerned about durability. These were regular width and felt slightly narrow on my wide feet, but I returned these and bought another pair in the correct size 37 with leather, and they are perfect.

The footbed is really comfortable, but I find the thong to be very uncomfortable between my toes. It doesn't rub but causes painful pressure so wearing these on walks is painful, but just around the house or office will be fine.

I like these over all. The toe strap thing takes getting used to if you haven’t worn these yet. At first they hurt, but some how that toe thing slid into position and it didn’t bother me anymore.

I hesitated for a long time to order this particular Birkenstock style as I was worried about the toe strap irritating me. I had read other reviews that indicated the hard plastic was tough on your toes, and I can't agree more. Unfortunately, as much as I love my other Birkenstock styles, this particular style had to go back.

I wear a 8 in ALL things except for this. I did order an 8 but I returned and then received an 7.5 and it fits just great! So happy with these sandals!

Hard to figure out sizing but cute sandal. Cork looks a little put together, so hopefully the shoe holds up.

Maybe it's just me but I had a hard time figuring out my size. I ended up going to a store that sold Birks to size. I love the style and the comfort seems good too. I purchased a 39, which is stated to be an 8-8.5, but I normally wear an 8.5-9, hence the confusion.

Fit was great - after I let them break in a little bit. The soles are a little stiff and arch was not supporting in the exact right place but after I wore them for a few days around the house they were perfect.

Patent black looks great. Finally a Birk that isn't too masculine looking or too big/wide. Haven't worm them out yet, but they seem good upon trying on. The hard footbed may take some getting used to as it's my first pair of Birks. Also my toes graze the top of the shoe bed - hoping that isn't going to rub when I start walking in them.
