I love these! The Gizeh is super cute and not Granola/Hippie looking. You have to understand when you first try these on they will feel weird. You need to give them a few days to mold to your foot. Once this happens, they are like heaven! I'm not kidding. I've had mine for a week and they are fabulous. But it does take a few days, so be patient. I think they run big. I'm a Dankso 39 and I bought a Birkenstock 38. You want your foot to fit perfectly in the heel cup or they won't work.

They're beautiful - but they're really golden! Sort of metallic...make sure that's what you want.

I've had this sandal for 15 years in the patient leather style. I love it (obviously). I bought them when I was 16, and I'm 31 now. They'll never go out of style, and they last a very long time. Best investment! Give them time to break-in.

Have numerous foot issues & have never owned Birkenstock before. These shoes are awesome! Color is trendy, style is great & foot glides in like it was made for you. Ordered 1/2 size down & it fits perfect! Ordering blue pair now.

Great looking on your feet. I have received lots of compliments on the shoes. I thought that the toe piece might be uncomfortable but after a short time I didn't even feel it. I bought another pair right away.

I received these Gizeh Birko-Flor Birkenstocks in a very fast manner (as per the usual Zappos way). I am normally a size 6 and I ordered a size 37 Regular (6-6.5). When I tried them on, they were way too big. I loved the toffee color that I got them in. I wanted some dark brown sandals and felt that the gold shimmer on these added some pizazz. Would have kept them if they weren't too big.

I love these shoes. They take a bit to wear in, but the are comfortable and support my feet.

The toe tab is a little thicker than most flip flops so it takes awhile to get used to. For a sandal the arch support is great.

This is the second pair of Birkenstock Gizehs I have owned (the first lasted for 5 years), and I adore them. They are immediately comfortable and I've found I can walk for miles in them without a second thought. I might need another pair in silver or patent leather. A note about size: Normally I wear a size 7.5 (though depending on the shoe I can also wear a 7 or an 8). I ordered these in a 37 (which corresponds to a 6-6.5) since that was the size of my first pair, which I tried on in a store, and they fit just fine. In short, my suggestion is to order small if you are in doubt.

A great buy! I love the arch support offered by Birkenstocks, and these are a more stylish alternative to the traditional Birk sandal look. I was a little worried that the toe piece would be uncomfortable on these shoes, but they were great right off the bat.

Love these sandals. First pair that have the strap between the toes and I can tolerate them as the leather is so soft. I get lots of compliments on the color.

Fantastic shoes! I wear them almost every day. Just enough arch support and they don't get stinky like Chaco or Teva sandals.

A couple things, since the sizes are only full size, I rounded up. Also, after the first 2 days of wearing them my feet killed, I actually had to take a break from them, but once I finally broke them in, I love them. I live in a city and walk everywhere in them!

These shoes survived two weeks of vacation at the beach and in Shanghai, China. I didn't have any problem walking around all over hot and sweaty Shanghai. I did have to break them in, though. I got a nasty blister in between my big toe and second toe on my right foot after a few days of wear (at home, breaking them in). They were fine after that.

I ordered size 40, which is size 9, but it felt a full size larger so I exchanged it for a 38. Zappos was lightning fast in shipping of both pairs and crediting my return. I love this versatile, comfortable and classy-looking sandal!

Love them. I was ordering a pair for my father and started reading the reviews. I decided to order these for myself. The customers who said they helped with plantar fasciitis were 100% correct. I have a heel spur and after wearing these for about three weeks I can no longer feel the pain in my heel. The do take about 3 weeks to break in, but once they do they are great.

I'm not always comfortable in Birkenstocks but these are great. I got the width that the company calls "narrow" (the foot icon on the insole is filled in) but fits an American "b". They needed no break-in (the leather is sturdy but very pliable) and the thong couldn't be more comfortable. These are my fav flat, casual sandals.

Great shoes! Ran a little small; I ended up with a full size down from what I normally wear. They are very comfortable and supportive though, I wear them for walking around in the city and they are probably the most comfortable pair of shoes I own. Also cute and trendy; they look good with everything!

I love these shoes. I bought them to wear for the summer in Europe when I knew I'd be walking a lot and wanted supportive sandals without looking like a foreigner. It took a few days to break them in, but now that I have, they're very comfortable and do exactly as I was hoping. I'd definitely recommend them and love that they came in narrow! If you have a narrow foot, these are a great find.

I purchased these for a 2 week tour of Italy four years ago and they were great. Lots of walking and standing without foot pain or leg fatigue. I have worn them ever since and after four years, needed a second pair. The color goes with everything. Great arch support and no flopping like a traditional flip-flop.

Lovely sandal. The leather version is much richer looking than the less expensive version. The leather is also softer. I agree with other reviewers about the piece in between the toes - very big and hard. However, with regular wear, I am starting to break that part in and they get more comfortable with each wear. Love Zappos!

The shoes are great, but more importantly was the terrific service. I called and said I thought I had the wrong size. They sent me the next size down so I could try them on and compare the two different sizes. Zappos e-mailed me a return address label. I slapped it on the box and it sent back the original pair. It was great! I love my shoes.

I have worn Birkenstock sandals for many years but always the ones with the straps across the foot. I was worried I would not be able to get used to this one. The worry was needless because these sandals are very comfortable. They take about 4 or five days of wearing them to adjust but then they are the best! I am a size 9 and the 40 is perfect. Wonderful arch support.

I just purchased my second pair of Gizeh sandals. For the summer, I got the Antique Lace, which is an off white, creamy color. They're beautiful and perfect for the summer. I wear a custom orthodic in my athletic shoes and this is the only sandal that provides the same level of arch support. Excellent shoe and great color.
