I'm in love! I have ruined the arches of my feet running, so I have to have supportive shoes all the time. However, I am in my 30's and don't want to look like a senior citizen with supportive shoes. I have always been a fan of Chacos, but I needed something a little dressier to wear to work. These are awesome! Super cute and very comfortable and supportive. Now I am looking at the website to order in more colors. There were many comments on ordering a size smaller, but I ordered my regular size and they are perfect. And you can't go wrong with free tax/shipping/next day delivery!

I love how comfortable these shoes are! I'm on my third pair. It takes about a day to break them in and then they are a joy to wear. They look cute too.

I have a multitude of foot problems that make finding a comfortable pair of sandals difficult. Until I found the Birkenstock Gizeh Birko-Flor! I love the way they sandals look and feel. They are sturdy and comfortable while still looking stylish.

This shoe is so comfortable and I get lots of compliments on the style! I had to size up from what I normally wear. My arches tend to hurt when I wear sandals, but these were comfortable all day. I need to get them in more colors.

While I admit I purchased these shoes because of how on trend they are, I am so impressed with how comfortable they are that I see myself coming back for more even after the Birkenstock trend passes! Along with being very comfortable they are very pretty and flatter both my feels and legs. Neither the arch or the plastic toe piece bothered me a bit and I found it fit true to size (I ordered the 38 narrow and I usually buy a 7.5 in sandals). The only complaint I have is that the upper doesn't particularly give me the impression of quality, but because the style and fit are so perfect that is a very small complaint.

The photo of the "titanium" color is very true, as it appears more green than silver or grey. I think the footbed is very comfortable, but the toe piece rather uncomfortable. I kept them anyway, but I find the Mephisto "Helen" style to be much more comfortable. I will stick with Mephisto in the future.

Initially ordered these in a size 40 and normal width as that's my usual size in European size shoes. Zappos shipped these super fast! They are very cute and perfect except they were HUGE. Just to make sure it wasn't me, I asked a coworker who agreed they made my feet seem really wide but the Burks were cute. I returned them and reordered in a size 39 narrow which fit perfectly. Zappos had my new size to me the very next day! Love these abs love Zappos customer service! I'm now looking at picking up another pair of Birks.

Love these shoes! If your use to wearing flip flops the plastic piece is immediately comfortable. They are the best sandals I've ever owned. So comfy.

The sandals I received were not the color as shown in the picture of what I thought I had ordered. I contacted Zappos and the customer service rep was very nice and helpful, but said that these were the color they received from the warehouse. I decided to keep the sandals. They are not as comfortable as I would have expected.

Quick and easy to order from Zappos! Love my Birks and the finish is a little dresser then flat black. I can walk anywhere in these!

I am a first time Birk wearer - used to think they were hideously ugly. However, now I am a true convert! I loved them from the moment I put them on. I thought the shoes were true to size and fit perfectly. Unlike others with difficulty related to the thong rubbing too much - I had no trouble at all. The first time I wore them out of the house I received a compliment. I'll be buying more!

Great sandal, really comfortable. Great arch support. They only come in whole sizes, so order the size down. I wear a size 8.5, and I ordered the 8 and it fit perfectly. (I actually ordered the 9 too just to make sure, and the 8 fit better.) These shoes are very in right now too; I get compliments on them all the time!

I am size 6-1/2 in everything, but 37 in this shoe is a boat on me. I normally wear a 36 in Euro sizes, but even this seemed hopelessly long and large until I cinched that strap! I think I could probably have a nice, snug fit with a 35, but I am satisfied with the 36. Color is gorgeous, comfort is beyond compare. And this sandal is so much cooler than the Birkenstock I wore for 10+ years starting in 1979... Cooler is great, but I feel the quality is the same - hoping I can wear these beauties for 10 years to come!

I wear a size 8 in boots and a size 8 in Sanuk sandals. I went with the reviews that suggested to size down on these sandals...so I bought a 38 (US 7/7.5). Unfortunately they were too small. Based on the Birkenstock sizing instructions, your heel and toes should not touch the cork...there should be a few millimeters of space in between both. I actually re-ordered and got these in a 39 (US 8/8.5) my regular size and they fit wonderfully...a little bit of space in front of my toes and behind my heel. As far as how I like the actual shoes, I love them! The Insignia Blue is beautiful and I like that they add a fun "pop" color to my wardrobe. They are slightly uncomfortable at first, but I've been wearing them around the house to break them in for our upcoming move overseas. I've never owned a pair of real leather Birkenstocks, but I have to say that the Birko-Flor upper is very well made. I highly recommend these shoes!

I got these sandals because after working on my feet for 15 years, my feet hurt in regular flip flops. It is difficult to find supportive sandals that are also attractive and versatile. These are perfect. I had to wear them around the house for a few hours everyday to wear them in, and now they fit my feet like a glove. The one downside is the plastic toe piece but I remedied that: I cut one of those stick on heel pads that you put in the back of uncomfy shoes in half (I used one that was foam, not slick plastic) and I used a hot glue gun to to glue each half around the plastic toe thingy. These shoes are super comfy now! I agree that you shouldn't have to modify such an expensive shoe, but I knew Birkenstocks would give me lasting support and it was worth the 5 minute fix. Also, I wear a 8.5-9 shoe size and got these in a 39.

If you, like me, read a ton of reviews and agonize over which which size to order, I hope this will help. I wear a size 8 medium (I am consistently a 38 in European shoes), so I bought this style in both Narrow and Normal widths in order to try both, and the 38 Narrow was a better fit. Although my feet are not especially thin, I have high arches and short toes, so comfort shoes can sometimes be a little clunky on me. The size chart says that the 38 corresponds to a 7-7.5, but 7.5-8 seems more accurate. I wore these right out of the box, and although they were stiff at first, they are breaking in well, and I know these will be go-to shoes. Unlike other reviewers, I had no trouble with the thong between the toes. These look great and can be worn with just about anything. The silver color is ideal if you want something a little more dressy than the usual Birkenstocks, but still comfortable for walking. Bonus: These are also perfect for showing off your pedicure -- I wore these with a metallic lavender shade and got lots of compliments.

Being familiar with the Birkenstock reputation for comfort and quality, I purchased this particular sandal because I like the style. My biggest issue was deciding on fit. Since I figured I'd be wearing these for many years, I wanted to get it right. Tried two different sizes - 37 and 36. I typically wear a women's 6.5-7 so the European 37 is usually my choice. That seemed to be the recommendation on the Birkenstock site after reading their fit guide; however, I went with the 36 (US size 5) because it fit the contours of my foot like a glove and I have more room for buckle adjustment if the shoes stretch. I have only worn them for about 3 weeks but am very happy with my purchase. The shoe itself is breaking in nicely and fits comfortably. As always, Zappos makes it easy to purchase and exchange if necessary.

I love these shoes! I could (and probably will!) wear these sandals every day! I have tried really hard to wear Birks for years but haven't been able to put comfort over style -- these are both! I have silver & will probably be ordering bronze soon. I have a pretty narrow foot and these fit perfectly: narrow fit plus adjustable straps work for me!

I love these shoes. I bought a silver pair two years ago and they made it through two summers of constant wear. Zappos were great with delivery, they arrived a day earlier than I expected.

First of all I fell in love with these shoes when they arrived, so pretty. I haven't had Birkenstocks in years, they have certainly changed. I read all the reviews and suggestions. I ordered a size down as recommended and when they arrived and I put them on the rubber toe thing hurt, again I read that you needed to wear them to break them in...well I wanted to order more but between my toes were killing me, so I decided to order these in my normal size instead of smaller. They came today and I am in love. What a difference to have shoes that fit correctly, they are so super comfortable, I am just sorry that I have a wasted pair of shoes I can't wear because they are to small, but I also found out that the horrible heel pain that I have been living with for years does not exist when I wear these shoes, that is huge, I am so happy!

Like other reviewers stated, it can take some time to get used to the plastic in between your toes. I wore them right out of the box and by the end of the week they had molded to my feet and now I reach for them more than any other shoe. I find them comfortable. Make sure you get your correct size. I wear a 7 and ordered the 37. The fit is perfect.

I have never been a fan of Birkenstock's style until I saw these. Based on the excellent reviews I ordered these in three colors because I was getting ready to leave for a cruise and planned on wearing them with everything. Good thing I packed backup shoes because I needed them. I never could get used to the hard, thick, rigid plastic thong portion of the sandal. I live in San Diego and live in flip-flops year round and I have never had anything so dang uncomfortable between my toes. I tried to break them in, wearing them for several hours over several days but I was so miserable, I could not take anymore and gave up on them for good. They were true to size and width, styling is great, footbed is comfortable but that plastic thong is a torture device. Back to Zappos these Birkies go.

Great sandal for women that have wide and flat feet. I wish I could wear any shoe but since I have wide feet I am very limited on the brands I am able to buy. This is my first pair of Birkenstock and it will not be my last. I wear a 9.5 size and bought the 9 and they fit well. The 10 were way too large.

My antique lace / off white Gizehs arrived today and they are super cute. I am a solid size 8, but have a very boxy, wide foot so sometimes order 8.5 in some brands to accommodate. I ordered a 39 in these and at first look, they were huge-seeming. I put them on and they seemed too big and pretty uncomfortable but I assumed I would have a break in period. Then I buckled the strap in a pretty snug way and immediately they felt a little less uncomfortable. I'm hopeful they will break in and be my favorite sandals. I'm a flip flop gal so didn't think the thong would be a big deal comfort-wise but that's where the discomfort is for now. We shall see. The color is amazing. It has a sheen to it and is a perfect neutral. Looks great with blue, black, even white jeans and dresses. I debated between these and the golden brown - so happy with this choice. I'm also pretty fair skinned and rarely have a nice tan but these are flattering on my skin tone. They seem a little chic-er than the browns, in my opinion.
