I’ve worn Birkenstock years before and loved the but this shoe’s leather is way too stiff. I know that it will eventually soften but I don’t have the time. Also if you have a wide foot, it just didn’t fit right. The higher strap was to short for mr to even get my foot all the way in place. Sorry but just a disaster for me.

The material is very stuff in the oiled leather shoe. I could hardly get the buckles to work. I have to wear them with socks for now because the stiff leather hurts the skin on the top of my feet. Because of a bunion, my large toe does not fit into the designed spaces for most people. I wanted them so much that I will keep trying to get them to soften a bit. However, I'm not really happy with them.

The footbed is not as comfortable as I expected for my high arches. Also, the leather straps strike across pressure sensitive spots such as tops of toes and first toe side and "knuckle". I have several brands of sandals and usually find that the pricier ones fit better and are constructed for better comfort. I might see if I can still return these because I am finding myself avoiding wearing them. They are also extremely unflattering compared to others I own. That's disappointing, as I had expected them to become favorites.

Got these for my mom, the wrong shoe color came but she loved how comfy they are.

I have been wearing these for years in the regular footbed. Unfortunately the soft footbed makes the sandal too narrow for my foot. I contacted Birkenstock and they are no longer making the Florida with the regular footbed so I have to find another Birkenstock style.

I love this style and my old ones have been worn so much that they are falling apart... but one of the straps on the new sandals hit my foot right where I have a bunion and I could see a lot of discomfort in the future... so I sent them back. I’ll try the Arizona.

it seems that due to the soft padded foot bed, that the shoe fits tighter than normal.

These weren’t for me. Too wide. Very hard to adjust buckles & uncomfortable. For that price you shouldn’t have to break in for days or weeks

Bought these for my daughter. They fit her perfectly, but gave her blisters.

I ordered a regular size, but needed to order a narrow. So I returned and Zappo's took good care of me. The return was easy. Thanks Zappo's.

I bought this same shoe three years ago. When I bought a pair of the Habana oiled leather last month they were too narrow. I counted the Birki bricks on the sole of the shoe as compared to the old pair and sure enough they were about 1/4 in more narrow across the toes. I have a foot that is normal at the heel and wide at the toes and I need a good arch support. So hoping something was off I ordered a second pair this time in Tobacco Oiled leather. They were better. Since I had two new pairs to compare I could see the first pair had a higher arch and the footbed looked a little odd. The second pair while slightly more narrow than my original 3 yr old pair is "good enough". The color is very uneven on the Tobacco Oiled Leather and I will have to buy some leather stain to make them look as nice as the 3 yr old pair. Everything changes I guess. I am glad I kept trying because I like to wear these, but am sorry to find there can be quite a difference in the same size/width when I have always thought of Birkenstocks as extremely consistent and well made.

Color description not as labeled! More tobacco ASH (gray) in color. Different enough to add to my wardrobe. But for $134.00 I would have preferred it be a darker brown!

These looked worn. They were unbuckled, thrown in the box, and slightly stained on the footbed. These were pricey to be in this condition. But, I would probably have overlooked this, but they were very uncomfortable. So many sandals now have those hard cork layers,so the shoe doesn't give at all when you walk. I have 1 pair of this style. You have to press your foot up against the upper straps to keep the sandals on your feet. This always gives me bloody blisters, when I try to wear them on a lenghty walk. These are supposed to be good shoes for the athletic woman. I don't get it?

Well they do not fit very well, when you have flat feet.

I love the shoe, but the color was way off, so I returned them. I chose Tobacco brown, as I have 2 other pairs of Birkenstocks in this color. It is a very nice, weathered, medium-brown, just like the photos in the ad. However, the pair I received were a very light cream color. It wasn’t even close.

These were a great disappointment. I have another pair of Birkenstock sandals a few years old but same size. They’ve been great since day one. These not so much. It almost feels like they’re for 2 left feet! Not the result I’d hoped for at this price point. They’re going back.

These were too narrow, even though they were naked med wide. Sent back. But the granada softbed are amazing. Take a look at them. Sooo comfortable almost from the getgo

Fit and size were ok. I have 8 pairs of Birkenstocks, but the quality in this pair does not meet my expectations. I know leathers can vary from shoe to shoe, but there is an extreme difference in the leather quality of this pair. After trying the shoes on, the leather is rubbing off from adjusting the buckles. Very disappointed.

The buckles cut into my foot and they are stiff. Every step hurt.

I am sending these back after just opening the box. I ordered "Habana Oiled Leather", like several other pairs of Habana Leather Soft Footbeds that I have and love. These appear to be something like Nubuck, but the box says "Waxy Leather". Color is off, not the classic dark brown Habana Birks are famous for. I use leather cleaner and conditioner on mine, but this odd material looks like it would not take to leather cleaner and come out looking like "good old leather". Very sad.

I had these same shoes in the 1990s, and loved them and got a lot of use out of them. They seem to have changed; the pair I got had straps that were too loose, even buckled on the tightest setting. I couldn't walk securely. Plus, when you buckle them on the furthest one over, the buckle ends up toward the top of the foot, instead of off to the side, which doesn't look great.

Problem was that the left foot fit perfectly and the right foot was way too bug. I tightened the straps as far as they would go and it still did not work. I loved the style, the color was really great. I was really disappointed since I wanted these shoes to work. too bad.
