This was my first Birkenstock purchase ever. It took a lot of trial and error to figure out what was the correct size for me. I’m a true size 8.5, have narrow feet, am flat-footed and have bunions. Finding shoes that fit me comfortably is never an easy task! I ordered these in the 39 first. However they were a little too big on me - my foot would slide forward and hit the front rim. I then tried the size 38 and they were too small, my toes were just up against the fron rim when I walked and I knew I would end up with blisters on the front of my toes if I tried to make them work. After a bit of research I realized that some Birkenstocks are offered in a narrow width. Unfortunately for me these are only offered in regular. So I decided to try the unisex Arizona in a 39 with narrow width. Lo and behold! They fit perfectly and the arch doesn’t really bother my flat feet at all. Still in the process of breaking them in and I do agree that wearing them right out of the box for a long day of walking is a real bad idea! But I honestly feel the break-in period isn’t as brutal as some people make it out to be. I wish this style was offered in narrow because I loved the soft footbed feel and the soft oiled leather is lovely. The moral of my long story is to make sure you try different sizes and widths until you get the right fit!

Sizing, fit, comfort are awesome. Tobacco color in this style--no---too light and looked dry or need of leather conditioning. Returned.

I like this 3-strap styled a great deal. However, I have a medium width foot and these were way too wide. I don't think they come in the narrow, which is what I need in Birks. Sadly, they have to go back.

Unfortunately, I'm still not sure about these Birks. I really like the look of shined leather but that's only available in the Birkenstock Flor 2 which is a SYNTHETIC leather upper. These are real leather but oiled and thus dull. I went with these because I was afraid the synthetic- though more aestheticlly pleasing to me- would be stiff and cause blisters. Real leather seemed the better option. But... I'm not thrilled with their look. For now they sit in my closet while I wait for the Flor 2s to arrive and can make a better decision. All in all, I'm disappointed. I wanted to love them.

This style is super cute on but the straps are still rubbing the top of my feet. I've put leather conditioner on them but it doesn't seem to help. I think over time they will soften. I could have used a narrow but no one had them. I have a narrow foot but was able to adjust all 3 straps to get a good enough fit. I'm giving them 4 stars because of the comfort of the straps but it may not bother others. But they are really cute & I get lots of compliments on them. I don't see this style very often which I like! As long as these are going to last they are definitely worth the money!

I like these. I've had several pairs of Birks before, and these seem to be commensurate to those in quality and style. They are supposedly "soft footbed"- I only noticed an ever-so-slight increase in softness, but that could just be me. They felt a little big (I ordered my normal size of Womens 11 M), but that's no big deal. Overall, a keeper!

I love Birkenstock and these would have been my 4th pair. For some reason these ran less wide than the Papillo's even though they are same style. Maybe someone can work on that! I love the Papillo's but I wanted a solid color! So sending these back, regrettably.

Previously, I have owned the Milano Birkenstock sandals, which are sized unisex. The Florida sandal has the exact same footbed, but apparently because it is intended for women, the straps across the top are shorter, so I needed to add an extra hole for a couple of them. Now they fit great. I ordered the oiled leather in brown, and I wear them with socks, and they are staining my white socks brown where the straps go over them. This is diminishing as I wear them more, but it is annoying.

These fit very differently than my current pair (identical shoe and size). The footbed was very hard and the arch support was much too high for me. The shoe was painful to wear because of this high arch.

Fit was ‘off’ from my other Birks. Disappointed in how I received product. It looks like it was packed in a plastic bag and thrown in the packing box with another pair of shoes. It looked damagez. Did not receive in its original Birkenstock box.

The size fits true to size, I loved the look and fit on my foot. I gave a lower rating because the leather straps are very stiff. I could tell I would have blisters by the end of the day.

The footbed of the right shoe scraped the side of my foot with every step. I don't like the new width system of Birkenstock. I have worn them for years. This was my first pair of soft footbeds and they weren't as soft as I hoped.

The fit was adequate but the style was unflattering and a little uncomfortable. I will stick with my mayoris!

Very hard on the bottom of my feet! Not what I expected for any hope of bottom -of - the -foot comfort !

This style does not come in the narrow width. Other reviews say to cinch the straps and it helps with width. This was not true for me. Love this style and wish Birkenstock would make it in a narrow width.

They were comfy but did not stay on feet as well as they should have without having to punch another hole. However Zappos fell short aa it was sent in a brown box with no authentic birks box or tag. I am not paying this kind of money and not even getting an authentic box.

I have a C width foot and these do not fit me.

The fit and support was great, consistent with all my other Birks, however the color I ordered (Tobacco Oiled Leather) looked nothing like the images on the site so i returned the shoes.

I dont understand the sizeing widthis not well described. These seemed a tiny bit long but definately too narrow.

Color didn’t match the image, I am returning.

Straps hurt my feet when just walking a liitle on the carpet in the house.

The leather sheds and stains my feet

I’m sort of new to Birks, but this pair went back Zappos. The leather straps were just stiffer than I like and and I didn’t want to wait 3-4 weeks for them to break in. I have Birkibuc’s and velvet love them. I really like Birkenstocks, the colors are awesome and helps with the sandals to be a little feminine, thos not a real issue with me, but the colors are Great. So is Zappos

While the sandal was the correct size, it wasn't comfortable because it had very little arch support. I ended up sending this pair back and ordered the same style but in the Birko-Flor and it felt so much better!
