They were too big. I had to return them.

The color of the sandals I received is much lighter than the photograph of the sandals on the website.

Color shows to be a brown but is actually more black. Ordering another style and hoping color is more true to image shown.

Looks and feels great. No breaking in.

The "oiled leather" in black looks more like charcoal gray. Nice if that's what you are looking for, but not sharp black.

I am usually a 7 or 7.5, I ordered a 37 (6-6.5) and the length was good. I ordered this in the narrow width but it was still too wide. I also thought the 3 straps/buckles was too busy. Returning.

I originally tried the Arizona but after a week I'm guessing the toe ridge was rubbing the bone of my pinky toe and it became too painful to wear. I've had the Florida for a week, wearing daily and so far they feel great. I also switched from the Iron to the lighter tobacco oil and it's a better look for me.

I love Birkenstock cork sandals, I thought I’d try a different style other than Mayari-the ones I usually get. I love the soft foot bed, and they are very nice, but I don’t like them better than the usual ones. also at $135 I really have to love them. I wish Birkenstock made the Mayari with the soft footbed.

I spend most of the winter with cold feet, but in the summer, my feet are prone to get really really hot. Strapping my feet into sandals with cushiony soles makes them feel like they have no escape. However, my aging feet need the cushioning. I have resisted Birks because my mom started wearing them at my age, but I finally succumbed and I can see the advantage. My foot moves freely inside them, yet the ball of my foot is protected. Hoping that painting my nails bright red will beat off the "I'm becoming my mother" sensation.

I wear size 7 M so I bought 38. They fit a bit larger than my 5 yr old Birkenstock sandals. The straps also feel loose, they should have at least one extra hole. They seem a bit stiff, I hope they will yield with wearing. The oiled leather straps are very good quality.

My first pair of Birks so still in break in period and can't adequately address comfort. Fit is good. Just takes some getting used to. Glad I got the "soft" footbed as I can feel the difference between this pair and the regular ones I had to return for fit.

Its not black though as the description mentions. Oil Black is gray i guess? Disappointed about that. Otherwise Birke’s are great sandal

I was concerned that these sandals, being made with a leather upper, would be stiff, but they are not all that stiff. I like that they are slides and yet stay on despite having only a tiny difference in height between the heel and the foot bed. It seems to be possible because of the good arch support. I have a bunion on one foot which makes finding a decent fit difficult, but these sandals fit well because they are adjustable.

These feel amazing out of the box, as expected. But I agree wholeheartedly with another recent reviewer that the color is nothing like what's shown in the product description. It's much much lighter brown and not at all distressed/oiled. I looked at the box, and the color there is listed as "Tobacco Brown" vs what I thought I was ordering - "Tobacco Oiled Leather." So not sure if it's actually meant to be a different color or if this run of them just looks different. I'll be holding onto these anyway and hoping they darken up a bit with wear as the leather softens.

I purchased these, the Arizona’s and Mayari’s. I liked the three straps, however I didn’t feel the soft footbed provided adequate support (I’m a nurse and wear clogs to work). Additionally, I wear a 7B with low arches and the 37R in these and the Mayari’s felt a bit narrow for my liking so I went with the Arizona’s.

I think these are very comfortable and cute. Might have to get another color! I like the leather and the birkibuc I think they are both nice.

Very pretty shoe! I was excited to get it but it just didn’t fit right. The three straps made the shoe feel “tight” across my foot. It could be because of high arch. Overall, the shoe felt too long, I could have gone down a size. As I said, the shoe is very attractive and if not for sizing issue, I would have bought more than one color!

I am new to Birkenstocks. My podiatrist recommended because of the rigid sole to keep my forefoot from flexing which produces pain. I returned these because the leather straps were uncomfortable; I didn't want the long break-in period which would probably do the job. I purchased the Arizona soft footbed with suede leather uppers...much better! These also come in a Narrow, which also helped a lot. I do not have narrow feet, wider than "average", but this was the best fit. It took a few orders to get the right Birkenstocks but am hoping they do the trick. They are not the prettiest shoes...I ordered the "Night" suede, a navy color which I think makes them more palatable. Thanks Zappos staff for your excellent customer service, allowing me to shop and try on in the comfort of my home. You are the best!!!

I already owned the Birkenstock Mayari and love them! So much so, I wanted a pair in a different style. These Florida Soft Footbeds are okay but not as comfortable as the Mayari. If you are on the edge of deciding, go with the Mayari style. You will not be disappointed. As an FYI - I have bunions and an arthritic hammertoe and can walk all day in the Mayari with no foot pain whatsoever. Either styles are true to size and fit.

I really like this design, it's more feminine and dressy than the regular three-band unisex design. For some reason I have a hard time finding the right size. I am a Women's size 9 (40), and tried both the 39 narrow and 39 regular. I think at this point I am a 38 regular. I wish the sizing was more consistent with Birks, because I love them.

I love Birkenstock. This is the soft bed. This is taking some getting used to. They don’t fit quit like the originals. They feel more narrow. I had to buy 39 in this style while my last Arizona’s were a size 37. I think I will love these too, once my feet adjust. They feel better on day 5 than they did on day 1.

This ran too narrow for me. I normally wear a regular width but I was resting on the edge of the footbed across the ball of my foot. So disappointed. I really wish they had fit as it isn't offered in a wider size. Oh well.

This was my first Birkenstock purchase ever. It took a lot of trial and error to figure out what was the correct size for me. I’m a true size 8.5, have narrow feet, am flat-footed and have bunions. Finding shoes that fit me comfortably is never an easy task! I ordered these in the 39 first. However they were a little too big on me - my foot would slide forward and hit the front rim. I then tried the size 38 and they were too small, my toes were just up against the fron rim when I walked and I knew I would end up with blisters on the front of my toes if I tried to make them work. After a bit of research I realized that some Birkenstocks are offered in a narrow width. Unfortunately for me these are only offered in regular. So I decided to try the unisex Arizona in a 39 with narrow width. Lo and behold! They fit perfectly and the arch doesn’t really bother my flat feet at all. Still in the process of breaking them in and I do agree that wearing them right out of the box for a long day of walking is a real bad idea! But I honestly feel the break-in period isn’t as brutal as some people make it out to be. I wish this style was offered in narrow because I loved the soft footbed feel and the soft oiled leather is lovely. The moral of my long story is to make sure you try different sizes and widths until you get the right fit!
