I realize this may be difficult
to believe, I purchase my pair of Tumble in 1974.
I have resoled it four times, the recent just three months ago, and they still look good.
Of course I have maintained then properly.
I certainly would recommend them!

The shoes themselves are awesome.
The only problem I had was having to return 2 pairs before I finally got a pair that didn't have defects.
Please inspect the shoes carefully. Especially on the pattern where the stitching can go over or even cut the leather. This leaves a flap of leather hanging off of the shoe. It looks terrible.
I received an initial replacement pair and it had the same issue. After returning the shoes again, I finally got a 3rd pair that were OK. It only took 1 month to finally get it all corrected.
Now I am wearing some of the most sylish and comfortable shoes in the office.
They are very comfortable. I have been wearing this brand and style for 27 years and have never a problem with them. They last and last.

This shoe is an upper end shoe that provides extended life. I have been ordering them for many years.
This time I received a pair that may have been built in a different country because they do not fit in the width as easily as other pairs have.

These are still really good shoes but the quality of the leather quite frankly does not feel the same as my old old Florsheims ...

I waited to write this review, you cannot put these on and expect them to feel like a rubber sole, they are heavy and they are stiff.Be ready to work at these, to get these comfortable and be ready to keep trying them, if you work on your feet 8 hours a day. Be prepared to be in some pain at first, it took me 4 months to get these comfortable enough to work in everyday for 8 hours. But now I love them. And since they are built like they are, should last forever! I gave a 3 for comfort. When I first got them comfort level was a 1 now 4 months later, comfort level is a 4 and hope this helps you make your choice of shoe.

I thought it would be simple to buy a new pair of shoes as previously I had purchased the Kenmoors in oxblood, size 9.5D(very comfortable). Unfortunately, my new pair in brown, size 9.5D do not fit as well; seeming to be a half size too big. Nevertheless, I am keeping them with hopes that the wearing-in process will add to their comfort.

This is a shoe that demands respect, get used to the compliments! Allow for a break in period, were them around the house for 15 minutes prior to stepping out in them. Get shoe trees to guard your investment, dont forget your cream and polish. I went dancing with mine after wearing them twice, no blisters or pains. Check the quality as you unbox your pair, strap them on and be ready to look sharp!
Great shoe for price point, why pay more?

I bought my first pair of Florsheim Kenmoor's in high school. They were called the Madison and cost $35.00. Times have changed. I decided on getting durable, stylish, and comfortable shoes for work. I was surprised at how easy breaking in the shoes was- no blisters, tired feet etc. The only complaint is the shoe laces wore out after five wearings. My boss is going to buy a pair

Hi, Im from England and purchased identical shoes from Thom Mc Cann ( excuse my spelling ?)...are these the same ones ?...UK shoe sizes are a size different...(size 9 UK are size 10 in USA)...The shoes are stiff and i was unable to wear them as there was no give in them like most other shoes.I still have them since 1994 but too tight...Give them to my son i think. These shoes in cordovan were very popular fashion in the UK in 1969 till about 1973...they were worn with Levi 501 jeans with a 1/2 inch turn up(when Levis produced a good pair of Levis) and a Fred Perry polo shirt..it looked very sharp.

I worked for Florsheim in the early '80s and still have my Kenmoors. Now, these were made from true Shell Cordovan, which comes from the rump of the horsehide. They are indestructable. I have put many soles on them. I figure if FloShoCo still made them this way, they would cost $400 or more. Also, I see a comment from someone here about spectators....back in the day, you could order these custom any way you wanted, but it took about 8 weeks. I believe the custom shop was the last manufacturing that they did in downtown Chicago. If mine wore out, I would consider buying the newer version, but I think these are going into the box with me!!!

Daily office work shoe. This shoe is a great value as it will outlast traditional footwear. Had 1st pair of imperials for 7 years. Easy maintenance, can be resoled by a quality cobbler. The leather sole will wear quickly on concrete and pavement but will last on carpet and wood. Has a break in period but all good leather footwear will. All around great craftsmanship and attention to detail on leather and grain.

I couldn't quite get the fit via the Internet store, so I'm going to the Florsheim store in Orlando to make sure I'm fitted properly. I've been wearing Kenmoors for years. I get lots of compliments and they are bulletproof. Great deal at the retail price!

Great looks, materials, build quality.
Poor width allowance and unnecessary length allowance. Whole/full E size is too narrow and the half D size is wide enough but bit too long!
Perhaps in making the shoe durable, the sole and upper have become too stiff - the sole almost feels as if wooden. Because it was not the best fit, wanted to return but couldn't let go either for its other qualities and having tried the alternative size already. Rather overpriced but still a good value for money in the market.

So far seems like a great shoe. Time will tell on the durabilty. Starts out very stiff which I like. Took about 8-9 wears to work before they seemed formed to my feet. You will want and extra pair along during the break in process. Hope to have for many years. My only gripe is that they are not made in the USA, which I usually get.

Great overall value. A bit stiff when new, but this is to be expected in a shoe at this price point and given the durable 'structure' of the sole. Nicely lined and good arch support. Be ready to wear these a lot when new in order to break them in... Classic wingtip styling.

As many have said here, today's Kenmoor is not yesterday's. I strongly concur Florsheim should consider a new run of the classic. Full leather sole & heel, V-plates, and lots of nails is never having to say you're sorry about your choice of shoes. No other shoe on the planet even comes close to the classic. Except this one. It's as close as it gets. I'll pay twice the price for several pairs should the classic return. Let's go!

I have been a Florsheim customer for years. I feel the quality and workmanship is not of yesteryear's standards, but what is? Please bring back, possibly as a custom shoe, or limited run, the quality that made the Imperial ,the Imperial.

I bought my first pair while still in law school 32 years ago and paid [$]. The current shoes are not built to the same standard but can't be for the price charged. I would be willing to pay two to three times the price to get an American made shoe of the old quality. My most recent pair has worn in an unusual place (upper bead of trim at the heal) and has done so prematurely. That said, they are still a very good shoe at a very reasonable price. They are still comfortable for the entire day. Given the price, I don't expect them to last as long. Even if Indian made, I would pay somewhat more for the old quality.

I've never worn a dress shoe that wasn't a FI Kenmore style (or a knock off). I'm still wearing a pair my dad gave me in 1975. But their at the end. My most recent pair, which get special event duty are going into regular service. 10 years ago there was superior grade of Kenmore which apparently is no longer made. Too bad I was ready to jump. I like the ones I have but truly would pay more money for a shoe with the quality the 1975 version had even if its 3 or 4 bills. If your the looking for top end you don't whine about the price.

I have three pairs of these going on 15 years now. They are the only dress shoes I buy> Love the classis down-to-earth styling. For when you want to make a statement without shouting.

Have had many long wing's dating back to the 70's. My father always insisted "these will out live you". So just ordered another pair of black pebble leather long wings. The left shoe has a couple of upper panels that are umm, not 'pebbled', somewhat smooth looking. Not that anybody will notice but at [$], you need to QA your stuff.

Great shoes, although they are not the Imperial Wingtips of 30 years ago.
