I have been wearing these shoes for close to two decades. They have been offered under the names French Shriner and Florsheim, and now Bostonian. They are well constructed, long lasting and very light in weight. They are trim and attractive. They remind me of wearing comfortable slippers. The only negative is traction. You need to be careful when walking on very smooth or slippery surfaces.

I purchased these to replace my prior Bostonian shoes. I have a particular foot in that the heel/tendon area must fit right and not be too low so as to allow for any slippage. Since I knew my prior shoes fit wonderfully I opted for the same size, style. From the moment I pulled them out of the box the shoes fit like a glove. They are comfortable and look good. They were slightly darker than I expected from the photo but that's not a problem at all. The only thing I will ding the shoe on is the feeling that my big toes on each shoe are sliding forward when I step. It's not enough to be a problem but the best I can do to describe it is that it feels as though the sole under my toe is missing (it's not by the way).

This shoe was true to size and fit perfectly right out of the box. I was impressed with the quality of the uppers and the insoles. The color is truly rich and the shoe appears to be more expensive than what it actually cost.

Very comfortable. Its thin sole feels at first like barefoot, yet the support is excellent, and the shoe feels fine from the first wear.

Great shoes! Especially if you spend time on your feet throughout the day. Light and comfortable... look great as well.

I love this shoe style and this will make my second pair. I tried another name brand in the same style, but it didn't last half as long. This is the shoe for me.

Wow! This shoe is more comfortable than my casual shoes. In fact it compares favorably with house shoes. Looks great too! Sure hope it holds up well!

A wonderful experience. I have a narrow foot (b) and I think this is the first time I have had a pair of shoes exactly my size. Right out of the box they felt wonderful. No break or wear in. And the shipping and handling was superb.

My husband bought the same shoes in a discount store, at a higher price, and loved them right away. The store no longer had his size and I got a second pair here. He walks a mile in them to work, and they look fabulous with a suit - he used to wear sneakers.

I love these shoes, they're exactly what I was looking for. They look great and are very comfortable. I haven't worn dress shoes in a long time so I'm very happy with these. If I needed another pair, I'd just buy the same ones all over again.

I bought these as a present for my husband, since he already had a pair in black and loves them. He has very wide feet (EEE) so usually has trouble finding comfortable shoes, but these are totally comfortable from the first wearing. They were a little darker than I had hoped for (wanted a medium brown, but that wasn't an option) and look almost black in low lighting, but they're still wonderful.

One of the most reliable and dependable work shoes I have ever owned. Lasted 3 years of every other day use. Now buying my replacement pair.

As always the customer service is second to none in the industry. I ordered on a Wednesday and had the shoes in my house on Thursday. They arrived in perfect condition and all I had to do was remove the shipping paper in the toes and wear them for a night out on the town. All I can say is thank you for making the whole process from ordering to receiving so simple and with the fast service it was a great experience.

What a great looking shoe. It looks even better in real life than on the computer. And it is so lightweight, comfortable and well constructed. The burgundy color is very fetching. And the fit was very true to size.

My size has recently changed to a size 16! Finding any selection was almost impossible until we tried Zappos. On no other site had I found more than one selection. At Zappos I found not only selection, but prices that were reasonable. I was able to order 3 pairs of shoes from dress to casual.

These were purchased for my husband. He has had a pair of this brand and exact style for many yrs. We went to a shoe store and they kept measuring size and came up with a different size every time. We ordered our size and they ran true to form. They are still perfect after so many years.

These shoes are by far the most comfortable dress loafers I have ever had. I have flat feet and bunions and these shoes do not aggravate those conditions and are still the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn.
