I have ordered many of these classic low cut 'connies' before. The last two were made in India, not Vietnam, as previously. The ones made in India do not feel the same. The size is just a little different; the tongue material is thinner and bunches up; there seems to be less support; and overall they feel less comfortable.

Ordered twice and received wrong order twice! First, size 3 men/5 women converse in a 3.5 men/5.5 women box. Then a size 3 men (yet again) when i (AGAIN) ordered a 3.5 men/5.5 women. Please stop sending me the wrong shoes. I desperately needed new shoes and you guys had the ones I wanted but you keep fudging my order. Check the shoes bwfore you send them out cause obviously someone isnt paying attention to their job. Ive spent over 300 because you guys keep messing up. And ive had to print various retuen label.

I really wanted to like these shoes, but they fit way to big. I took the recommendation and ordered a half size down and they are still way to big. I will be returning these shoes as quickly as I received them unfortunately. overall nice quality, but i cannot really judge much else as i cannot wear them.

The shoes made a squishing sound with every step. Horrible!!! Would love to have kept them. But I, nor my family, could stand it.

Comfy yes but they're ugly as hell. Guess it doesn't fit my non-hipster style

The color is NOT navy. The color on the site is about 5 times darker than the shoe that arrived. The actual shoe is just blue, not at all navy.

Quality was poor, most likely a manufacturing defect. The canvas on the side of the shoe came unglued. One could see the glue sticking out from the rubber side.

Horrible quality. Three eyelets came off within 2 weeks of wearing them, the lettering on the back heel is peeling off, and significant fading is already starting even though I only wear them at nights. This is NOT the same quality I typically expect from converse or Zappos--knock offs are better quality. Very very disappointed.

Garbage. These have always been very cheap shoes, but I'd usually get 6 months out of them. After just over 2 months (and that wasn't even wearing them every day) the bottoms blew out and the seams all started coming unglued. Never again.
I'd also recommend:
Vans are comparable in price and much better made.

My first time buying converse. Normally I buy Vans. These shoe are like clown shoes. I ordered a 10.5 like all my other shoes but these Converse were so long and narrow. I'd recommend ordering a smaller size then you normally wear. It hurt's my feet to wear these. I won't be buying Converse ever again.

Would have liked the shoe if they sent me the size I actually ordered. So now I have to wait like a week or two to get my money back then I can order it again, hopefully they'll actually give me the correct size this time.

These are terrible quality! I bought these to replace an older (2012 or so, not ancient) pair, color natural white. The new ones were stiff and strange; the tongue was shorter, making it uncomfortable. The labels on the tongue and back of sole were different. And the color was yellowish, rather than off white/cream. I double checked the specs on the shoes and the numbers matched. The only difference that I could find was where the old ones were made. I guess this says something about Nike's quality control (Nike owns Converse). Back they go.

I'm normally a huge fan of Converse but these did not do it for me. Within not even a week they were extremely dirty and the shoe canvas ripped on the side of the shoe so I cannot wear them anymore. I cannot return them as I don't have the original box I got it in so I spent the money for nothing!

These are going to ruin your back! About an hour into wearing these, I get the worst back pain ever (and I don't have any back problems!) They are too shallow for any kind of insoles. I can't believe these have been around this long because I ask everyone and they all complain about the same thing.

I have worn Chucks for 30 years and now will probably never wear them again. They have changed the design so much since being bought by Nike. There is no cushioning inside. The toe box is more narrow. The fabric seems flimsy. The overall look is cheap. I used to wear my Chucks all day on my feet working as an elementary educator or traveling. I wore these for a few minutes around the house and was in pain immediately. Not for someone who needs room in the toe box or who has any need for arch support. The shoe is too small to add any support. Oddly, the shoe feels long and skinny. Maybe this is fine for someone young or with skinny, healthy feet, but if you need a comfort shoe, your days of wearing Chucks are over. So sad, but I think my long affair with Chucks is over. If you too are looking for a replacement, might I recommend: Vans, Superga (these too may need a little support added, but the shoe has a bit more padding and is roomier). For a cute look with more support, try: Taos, Ecco, and Sofft.
I'd also recommend:

These are not the converse all stars you used to wear in high school. The soles separate from the uppers after a few months, the canvas is wafer thin and tears in flex spots and the overall the quality is pretty shoddy. I love Zappos but these shoes are turkeys (and not the good kind). Converse shoes used to rule in the 60's and 70's, then nike picked up the brand screwed the pooch. At least Zappos gets the sizing right, they fit well while they lasted.

Truly a full size too big - I always wear a 9 women's and up having to order an 8. Although they fit okay, you've really got to cinch up the laces for the heel not to slip and they're crampy in the toes. Material is stiff and I could tell I'd have blisters after wearing a half day. Ouch. Very disappointed. Returning is always a pain and won't try another pair.

I have been wearing Chucks for over 15 years. Same size and style. I wear them until they fall apart and are put back together more than once. That said, I have never owned a pair of Converse this uncomfortable. I didn't think much of the blister from the first day. The blisters from the second and third days were a different story. I threw the last pair out so I don't have the old pair to compare them to, but I am sure something is different. When I started lacing them up something seemed different. It wasn't until all of the blisters that I gave up on them. Maybe I'm old and crazy now, maybe they changed. If you are like me, just don't throw those old ones out yet. I still love Zappos, I just don't know what to think about the Converse.

The styling is great, but this is the most narrow shoe I've ever tried on. I've owned Chucks before (usually high tops) but for whatever reason, this pair was way too narrow and wouldn't budge/stretch/give at all. Hurts my feet. Unfortunately, due to weather, I didn't get to take a walk in them until after the 14 day return policy so I'm stuck with them, but...just as a warning...check the width comfort when you get them and know they don't seem to give at all.

Worst shoes I have ever bought. I don't know why anyone buys these. 1) they are completely not comfortable at all 2) they squeak when I walk 3) the plastic edges are peeling away from the black material 4) no support 5) look terrible with shorts 6) smell horrible after only a few wears... I can keep going. Wore these maybe 10 times after buying them and then bought another pair of Tigers to replace them. Never will buy again.

Poorly made sneakers. This is the 3rd pair of the exact same Converse I have ordered for the last three years. Very satisfied with the first 2. They almost seem like they are spinoffs of the Converse I have been buying. I would like to think you would not sell a shoe that is not the real thing. These shoes are nothing like my old Converse.

Initially these shoes worked out great, but just 4 months from the day I started wearing them I have huge cracks in the rubber on the inside sidewall of both of my shoes. I have size 14 feet so these shoes are quite long, but I have never had a shoe destroy itself so quickly from everyday walking.
