Not pleased with this shoe. The eyelets fell out after about 5 wears.

Theses are very nice shoes, but i have a problem with my left foot and there was not enough support for me. The service was excellent and the ability to send them back was the reason that I purchased them from Zappos. I have since ordered a pair of shoes with more arch support from Zappos because of there great service.

I've been wearing chucks for decades. These shoes are significantly lighter. Is it a bad thing? Depends. I'm of the thought that they're using cheaper materials. Just my thought. Usually, I order a 1/2 size smaller as suggested. Used to be perfect. Not they're tight. Must have changed manufacturing. Bummer that such an icon of a shoe can become such a cheap POC.

This is a review of the current WHITE pair I had ordered. I own several pair of these Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Core Ox sneakers in several colors which I like very much. However, these white sneakers are different as they put a fairly thick rubbery tag (All Star) on the tongue as opposed to the Fabric tag. This makes the tongue less flexible and longer. So the fit is not comfortable as the tongue cuts into the front of the ankle. Sent back.

The fit was way too large. Also, I am unhappy with the look and support. I was hoping to find one like I bought through Zappos a few years back--All grey uppes and soles. do you have those?

It was much too narrow for me. I wish they had fit--love this shoe!!

I've been wearing size 8.5 Converse for decades, this pair from Zappos (made in India) is too large by 4-5mm (half a size) . I compared them to 2 pairs of 8.5 that I own(made in China) . These are mismarked or Nlke can't maintain quality between countries. My first and last purchase from Zappos.. Returns are in fact a pain.

Shoe was way too large. My foot didn’t even fill it out.

Every year the Mfg. adds more plastic to the sole hoping we won’t notice while the price gets higher. Converse use to have 100% rubber soles. Plastic soles don’t wear or last as long. This will be my last pair. Shame Converse went to China so I American.

Do not buy unisex. Even when you order your size they are way to big for women. Ordered hem twice and both did not fit. Women should order women sizes not unisex. Unisex sizing makes no sense

I ordered the CHARCOAL shade and unfortunately it looks nothing like any form of gray. It's more taupe - a greenish brown. I even brought the shoes into work to have a 'converse friend' look at them and she agreed. When I looked on the Converse website, their photo of CHARCOAL looked gray so I'm wondering if there's a difference of quality control in colors when it comes to buying from Zappos compared to the actual manufacturer.

Ordered them for my college-aged son. Tried 2 different sizes and fit was lacking due to narrow toe box. Also, not very comfortable due to no support.

I see other people wearing these shoes all of the time and they look cool. These looked like clown shoes on me. Not at all the cool mom look I was hoping for.

Loved the shoe. Too bad it had to be glued at the seams after less than 3 months of use.

Bought these for an outdoor wedding to coordinate with the wedding party, really not my style. They are definately larger than other shoes in the same size, however width was ok. The shoe is very light weight easy to walk in, but has absolutely no arch support and wasn't able to go all day in them. I don't were insoles normally but these would need it if i wanted to wear them again. The sole is very thin/ flexible so very little protection from small rocks.

This is my second paid of chucks and now I'md done with chucks. My first pair lasted as long as any other shoe that I've ever worn, but this paid fell apart in 2 months. The heal got shredded really fast and now my heal rubs against the exposed plastic that's underneath the canvas on the inside of the shoe.

I purchased these for my husband and within just a month the sides around the ankle started to rip. It has only gotten worse as they are worn.

This trendy forever cool tennis shoe lacks arch support- this is well known but what I didn't expect was the lack of ankle support. I returned and got the high tops and problem solved.

I figured I'd try these because they're popular. They were fine at first but the sole started separating and falling off after only two weeks. The shoes I had before these were a similar style and price, but they lasted two years before I wore through the sole. My experience with the Chucks was disappointing, I won't be buying again.

Agree with many other reviews, these make your feet look very long (and I am only a women's 8, men's 6). The tongue came up pretty far/high toward my calf so I felt like that would be uncomfortable. I will be returning these.

NO! What happened to my beloved Chuck Taylors? These just feel all wrong. The fit is different and no longer fits my slightly wider foot. The fabric feels cheap. The cushioning is all wrong. I have been wearing Chucks for 30 years. They have always been my go to shoes when I want style and comfort. I used to wear them all day teaching and traveling. I wore these for an hour and was in so much pain that I had to take them off. I will never wear them again. What happened?
