I really love the converse style and they are comfortable enough. I have owned converse before, and I have to say though, they really don't make them like they used to. They look a bit cheaply made, but when if you can overlook that, they are very cute and easy to wear. The shipping was on point. I ordered them, got free overnight shipping, and they were there the next morning. Very reliable, free shipping.

Everyone tells me this is just the way it is, they fit a little "off" and eventually your feet and the sneaker find comfort with each other! They did a little scraping on one toe and a little more irritation on the other foot the first few times I wore them. But they are cute and worth it. Since they only come in mens sizes, I swim a little in them, they are cut for men's feet. I wear woman's 6.5 and bought the 4 and it's the right size for me.

If in doubt on the size of these shoes, go a half-size smaller. I typically wear size 11, though I can squeeze into 10s if they're sandals or sized generously. I ordered a 10.5, which has worked well. Any smaller would be too narrow. These shoes also take a few days to break in, especially in the heel area. Once they're broken in, they're far more comfortable, though I wouldn't recommend them if you need lots of arch support. Overall, my favorite thing about these shoes is that they add a casual kick to everything, from dresses to skinny jeans.

Solid canvas shoe, good looking classic style. I replace my lowtop black Chucks every 3-4 years it seems. They've got no support whatsoever, so standing around all day on hard surfaces in these is not a great idea. They're very narrow at first (I have wide feet) but they stretch pretty quick. I've gotten a size up before and it's just too long, found it better to just not lace them tightly and wait for them to give a little. They're getting expensive for what they are, so this might be my last pair given the price tag for a cheap canvas shoe.

I buy the shoes simply because they make my large size and they fit well. People seem to comment on them often about being bad shoes or ugly, but I don't mind. I think they are nice. It's hard to find size 15 in anything and these have never let me down. Just don't do any standing or walking for longer than an hour or you will know about it!

Solid definitive style - they have a lot of personality. Though as with all Chucks, when it comes to comfort my feet really start to hurt after walking in these all day in a big city like New York. You can make them much more comfortable by picking up some Superfeet insoles, which fit very well although it may feel like there's ever so slightly less room in there, but you get used to it quickly. With the Superfeet insoles, the Chuck Taylor is the shoe it was always meant to be - comfortable and stylish.

My husband uses these to do the gym-based workouts of Crossfit, although he has used them for running occasionally. This is a replacement pair. The last pair lasted him two years and he works out at least three times a week.

I am pretty sure these are the Converse I always get but this time the fit felt different. The back seems lower, so it doesn't fit my foot as snugly but I can't tell if I just never noticed before. Overall, it's fit is accurate to the description of getting half a size down from what you would normally wear. The shoes are great for walking around all day in the hot summer.

The classic Chuck, timeless. Grey is perfect alternative to white or black, looks good in summer. Wish that other colors were available in 14+, but Converse doesn't make 'em.

This shoe runs big. For me I had to return my first pair and drop down a half size. I got that pair and discovered that I could have gone a whole size down. But I kept them and all is well.

Great shoes. However, I got two different length shoe strings. One fits great, the other is too short to tie properly. Strange.

Chuck Taylors have been my go-to sneaker for as long as I can remember. Super comfortable and much cooler than wearing a pair of running shoes. Not much support, but still comfy. They run about 1/2 size large so order down.

I've always heard great things about Chucks and finally after 25 years I bought myself a pair and the hype is real. They are really comfortable and I love the style; you can basically wear them with anything. The only thing that was a little inconvenient was I am normally a size 8 and the few times I'm not, I have to go up to a 8.5. I had to return my first order of 8's for a 7.5. I would suggest ordering a half size smaller than your usual size.

These are great sneakers. They work great with jeans, leggings shorts and skirts. While I wouldn't run in them, they are comfortable enough for daily wear. The long tends to make your feet look a bit bigger than they are. Also, because they're sized for men and women, mine are a bit too big.

Shoe fits great at 1/2 size smaller, even for my narrow foot. Color is actually a yellowish tan, not a natural tan color which is why I'm returning them.

I have been in a constant battle with Chucks for years. I love them and have always wanted a pair, yet I have finally given up. A women's 9 is too small, but a women's 9.5 is too big. Thanks to Zappos awesome return policy, I'll be able to return them nice and easy!

I have had this pair on my "To Buy" list for quite some time now and I am very happy I finally pulled the trigger. This is not my first pair of Chucks, but my two other pairs are my mom's from the 80s. They're rad but I wanted a shoe that I could wear to class, walking downtown, etc. that would be adorable and not be my running sneakers. I got that shoe. Size-wise: I ordered a half size down (I am usually a size 6 and ordered a 5.5) so I would highly recommend doing the same.

The shoe runs large. I typically wear a size 14 and fit into these size 13. It's comfortable enough and looks good.

Great shoe for weight lifting but not so for running. I actually bought these for general use and skating. For additional comfort I added insoles. They look nice and are well made.

This replaced my old pair of Chucks that I wore into the ground. The gray is darker than I thought it would be, but I like it. I've found I can get away with this shoe almost anywhere in a city (as long as you aren't the 5-star restaurant & club type), so they've become my go-to travel shoe when visiting friends in other cities.

I love these shoes. They're not much for support so don't consider these as your walking shoes, but for everyday wear and tear, they're great.

My kids wanted some Chucks, so I bought a pair for myself, too. They fit just like I remember them. Big, long, very little support, but overall comfortable. I did forget how cold your feet can get in them, though. Definitely a three season shoe (if that).

Shoe size is exactly as described. Great, classic looking shoe. However, (and this is obvious) due to the white canvas material, this shoe will get dirty very quickly.
