This Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Ox feels great. My daughter absolutely loved it and has put it on from the moment she opened the box up to the moment it was time to go to bed. She really adores it very much. great shoe and fit.

Chucks are an iconic and timeless shoe. They look great with pretty much anything (please don't wear them with dress pants) and they last forever. However, I do notice that after a while they hurt my heel and my lower back a bit. Overall, great shoe. Would purchase again and recommend.

I particularly think that the All-Star Converse shoes are simply different in a good way. There are some ups to these shoes, but they have some negatives as well. The first pair of converse I had gotten had lasted quite a while until I joined marching band. Converse can come in many colors that could go with almost anything. I particularly like the ankle-cut Converse because they are slightly more comfortable. The Converse can get too flexible, and will eventually fall apart. I think the flexibility of the shoe could be a little bit increased. If you're in a marching band, then you might want to reconsider your shoe choice.

Nice shoes and at a good price. These seem to be holding up great and are frankly much more comfortable than expected. The only issue I have is that because there are so many eyelets they can be a little annoying to get evenly tight along the whole foot.

The 1st pair of Chucks I purchased here felt a 1/2 size too big (I'm a solid size 12) so I purchased these at 11.5 and they fit perfectly. So whatever your size, purchase a 1/2 size down and you'll be good to go. Timeless design and the charcoal gray goes with everything.

Purchased 2 items, these shoes and a hat, as Christmas gifts. The shoes and hat were both delivered timely and the shoes were the correct size. However the hat was not the correct size and returned. Customer service from Zappos has not bothered to follow up on the return, offer to get the correct product to us, or determine what was the issue. Purchased hat from another retailer as a consequence of unconcern to correct the original order by Zappos.

My daughter loves these shoes! I had a very difficult time finding these shoes in 1/2 sizes. They run slightly large and the half size fits perfectly!

I love the look. It was just like the shoe I wore long ago. The recommendation was true that you need to order a size smaller than your normal size. They are so comfortable on my feet I can stand in them for a long period of time. I would definitely recommend these shoes. Great job, Zappos!

I bought this purely for looks and not comfort. In sneakers (asics, Nike) I wear a 7. So I downsized 1/2 a size per instructions and got the 6.5. Still a lot of room in the toes and started to look like elf shoes. I exchanged for a 6. The length was perfect. These shoes do run narrow, I'm guessing downsizing is purely for length because both sizes have the exact same narrow width. Haven't worn it yet so the jury is still out on quality.

I bought the size I normally wear. They do fit a bit narrow, but I'm hoping after lots of wear they will stretch out and be more comfortable. For right now they are comfortable enough that they aren't causing any discomfort. They are very nice and I can't wait to break them in!

Love these! Definitely go down a half size - I wear 8 normally and the 7.5 was perfect. My only complaint is that there's no arch support, I'm considering using an insert, but that's not enough of a complaint to not buy/wear.

True to size but they are not as comfortable at first until you wear them about a week and after that they seem to be more comfortable and if you order as much as half a size smaller you will feel it. Order your true size or suffer the consequences, I found this out the hard way and had to send them back for my true size.

They are super cute but, not comfortable at all. They are very heavy and not flexible. I bought them to wear around site seeing and feel that they were not a great choice. Though, I thought they looked cute!

Very good service from Zappos. The shoes are nice for style. And they can be worn with many kinds of clothes. But the support is not good enough if you need to walk all day with these.

I bought two pair; one white, one black. I love these but they definitely run long. I wear a standard women's size 7.5. So many of the reviews said to order down 1/2 size so I did. The ones I ordered are 7 and still long on me. I could have sized down a full size. I still love the look of converse and I've put padded inserts into mine to adjust for the sizing issue. Also, these sneakers don't have any support in them, so if that's an issue for you, skip these.

I have always loved 'Chuck Taylors' And I read all the reviews before I purchased them. I am fairly glad that I followed most other customers recommendations regarding sizing. The odd thing is this: They are correctly sized at 7.5, but the left sneaker was strangely narrower at the toe box than the right sneaker. This is the reason I cannot give a 5 star rating. The extra tightness of the left will take some "breaking in" for a few weeks before they will be comfortable enough to wear all day. I am sure it was a random production issue at the manufacturer. I am not bothered enough to return them.

It's hard to beat good, old classic Converses.I get lots of compliments, and they last a long time. The one weakness, as I see it, is a lack of arch support. If they added a bit more cushion in that area, it would be 5 stars.

I really love the converse style and they are comfortable enough. I have owned converse before, and I have to say though, they really don't make them like they used to. They look a bit cheaply made, but when if you can overlook that, they are very cute and easy to wear. The shipping was on point. I ordered them, got free overnight shipping, and they were there the next morning. Very reliable, free shipping.

Everyone tells me this is just the way it is, they fit a little "off" and eventually your feet and the sneaker find comfort with each other! They did a little scraping on one toe and a little more irritation on the other foot the first few times I wore them. But they are cute and worth it. Since they only come in mens sizes, I swim a little in them, they are cut for men's feet. I wear woman's 6.5 and bought the 4 and it's the right size for me.

If in doubt on the size of these shoes, go a half-size smaller. I typically wear size 11, though I can squeeze into 10s if they're sandals or sized generously. I ordered a 10.5, which has worked well. Any smaller would be too narrow. These shoes also take a few days to break in, especially in the heel area. Once they're broken in, they're far more comfortable, though I wouldn't recommend them if you need lots of arch support. Overall, my favorite thing about these shoes is that they add a casual kick to everything, from dresses to skinny jeans.

Solid canvas shoe, good looking classic style. I replace my lowtop black Chucks every 3-4 years it seems. They've got no support whatsoever, so standing around all day on hard surfaces in these is not a great idea. They're very narrow at first (I have wide feet) but they stretch pretty quick. I've gotten a size up before and it's just too long, found it better to just not lace them tightly and wait for them to give a little. They're getting expensive for what they are, so this might be my last pair given the price tag for a cheap canvas shoe.

I buy the shoes simply because they make my large size and they fit well. People seem to comment on them often about being bad shoes or ugly, but I don't mind. I think they are nice. It's hard to find size 15 in anything and these have never let me down. Just don't do any standing or walking for longer than an hour or you will know about it!
