This is one great shoe! I've always loved Converse high-tops, and this shoe is exceptional. Not only does it wear comfortably, but it washes up great, with minimal wrinkling and shrinking. The insoles are securely stitched, and the tongue of the shoe doesn't get all bunched up.

The only sneakers my son will wear! My son has been wearing this same sneaker style for 10 years and won't give it up. Thank you for carrying them! They do have a devoted following...Of die hard Converse fans.

They never give up!! I got a pair of navy colored Chucks a year ago, and they rock! I’m wearing them right now! Although they don’t look the same as they did in their hayday! At the back where the heel guard is the canvas has torn away in places, and the blue rubber strips along the inside side of the shoes has long since fallen off, and the All Star logos on the sides and the backs has worn off, and on other sections of the shoes the canvas has torn away, and the strings have worn out and been replaced, but this happened because I've worn them almost every day since I received them, but otherwise they attract peoples eyes, and you hear a lot of "Nice shoes dude." Otherwise they last until they fall off your feet. They look good and feel light as clouds on your feet, and they’re comfortable. The thing I don’t like about them is if you get caught in a rainstorm when your two miles from your house, your feet will get soaked. Other than that they are a 5 star shoe.

Classic shoes - I bought these for my husband. He wears a 9.5; so, I bought a 9 based on the notes about this shoe. He says it is still a little big, but with thick socks it's perfect. He really likes them. It's a classic, good looking shoe.

Old School! I have been wearing Chucks since I was a child and love them. They do not have arch support but I still find them comfortable plus they look cool and come in all kinds of colors.

Super shoes! I have always been a Converse lover. If you wear them, too, you'll know why. If you are new to Converse, here's the deal - they are comfortable. They are chic. They are "in" right now, and they are one of those items that is always "in". Their sizes are exactly correct, and once you've bought one, you can be guaranteed that every time you buy that size, it will be EXACTLY the same as every other pair you own. You don't have to "break them in" - put them on, and they fit like a glove (no pun intended). For years, I wore nothing but high heels. I was a fancy shoe fanatic. Then my back went out and I was told I could never, ever wear heels again! What to do?!I pulled out an old pair of Converse, and lo and behold, those high tops, with their great ankle support, were just the thing. Now I own about 25 pairs - all colors, all fabrics. I'm in heaven. The other day, a teenager came up to me and said, "Wow! When I'm your age, I hope I can be as cool as you - wearing a velvet dress and Converse high-tops!" And that's the story.

One Thing My Kids Agree On - . . . is the practicality and stylishness of Converse sneakers. Boy kids wear high tops, girl kids wear low tops. Colors change annually. The price stays affordable. Mommy is happy.

The ultimate Rocker shoe!!! This is quite possibly the best shoe out there. I mean these things have not changed one bit since I was in high school and they still fit the same way they always did. I love them. The only bad side is they are not too big on padding on the inside of the shoe so if you are walking around a lot your feet might tend 2 hurt a little after a while. A tip from the road, if you really want these suckers to fit ultra tight and comfy wash them in hot water in your washing machine when you 1st get them. After that they hug your ankles like glove! Happy shopping people!

Converse Hi-Tops - These shoes are great. My dad had over 100 pairs of these growing up, and when I told him I wanted a pair, he was really excited about it. Only thing is that you have to get used to them slowly. I wore them for a whole day, first day I got them, and my heels were starting to hurt. Overall an awesome show once you've had them about a week.

Converse all star - We bought matching shoes for the whole family, pink for the girls, blue for the boys. Very cute. Love these shoes.

Perfect, as always - This is about the 5th pair of these shoes I've bought for my son from Zappos. They don't last forever, but are affordable and the only ones he ever wants on his feet. And when I order them from zappos I've never had to pay shipping and they arrive in like two days. Awesome.

Converse All Stars High Tops - Comfortable and classic, these shoes go with a variety of outfits and situations.

Coolest shoes - I bought these for my 17 year old daughter - her 10th pair. I bought the two-toned Converse (from Zappos.com, of course!) for my 21 year old daughter. And as everyone knows, Converse are the BEST!

Old school - I had a pair when I was younger and I lived in them. Had to have them. Good sneaker for banging around in. On the court or off.

Converse shoes are not the most comfortable. I bought an insole and they feel fine.

Great classic - My daughter loves these shoes! She is nine and has had two pair of high tops and two low. We bought them in red this fall for school and she wears them almost every day. They fit well and last long. Classic style!

Teen Converse rocks! We followed other reviewers' suggestions and ordered 1/2 size smaller and the fit for these black hi top All Stars fit my girl teen perfectly and she thinks they rock! Thanks Zappos for another great deal.

I'm an all-star now! I love the look of this shoe! It's very narrow though, and has no arch support - I would recommend a good supportive insole (custom orthotic insoles are even better). Although the shoe is so narrow some people may have trouble fitting an insole into the shoe. But overall I totally love this shoe!

Converse - The converse I purchased was for my son, he likes the style of this shoe. He says they are comfortable to wear and would not wear any other shoe.

I have been buying most of my shoes from Zappos for two years. I bought the Chuck T's for my son who lives out of the country. He was home for a visit and couldn't find them in ANY store, and we called dozens. Zappos had them...as usual. Fortunately, my son knew the shoe fits a half size larger, so we knew to order a half size down. First time we bought Chuck Taylors we didn't know that. The return and exchange policy (up to a year) is the easiest and most satisfying I've ever experienced, so we had the correct size in less time than it would have taken to drive to a mall, explain the situation, and hope they had the right size. Love this site!

Pay attention to sizing advice!!! Pay attention to the advice given of buying a half size smaller. They really do fit larger that the size you normally wear. We actually had to purchase a full size smaller than my husbands normally wears. Thanks to their great return policy it didn't cost us a penny. Super fast shipping department too!!! Good going Zappos!!

Chuck Taylors are the stuff - I love these shoes! I've been wearing them basically all my life. The black hi tops are classic, never go out of style.
