This e-mail is not so much to comment on the shoe itself, although my granddaughter loved this present. She wore them all day at Christmas after opening the gift. My comments are really to commend Zappos for their excellent customer service. I had also ordered two sets of Heelys for my younger granddaughters. One pair fit and the other was too big. I reordered a new size thinking I would receive it in 5-7 days. When I came home for lunch the next day, the new pair had arrived. I received the new pair before I had a chance to return the pair that did not fit. I had ordered regular delivery, but Zappos had overnighted them. My granddaughter was so happy, because it is the one thing she really wanted. Thank you, Zappos, for your excellent customer service.

I got a pair of Converse because I like other skate shoes but Converse offers a much wider range of colors. I wear orthotics in both shoes so hi top helps keep my foot lined up with the orthotic. The canvas of the All Star Core Hi is breathable yet strong, but soft and flexible. The sizes are one full size smaller than I usually wear. I usually wear a size 14 men's with my orthotics, but a Converse size 13 is a perfect fit. These shoes are tough, light, flexible, comfortable and stylish. These shoes are great and they are less expensive than the other brand shoes on the market.

My daughter wanted to replace her worn out Converse All Stars (beloved since high school; she was hoping for them for her 29th birthday!) but now lives in a small town where they aren't available. She wasn't sure of size, style...and we were leaving to visit her later the same week. I had promised my 98 year old mom I'd get something really nice to give our daughter. How could I get all this done? My phone call to Zappos answered all my needs: the incredibly helpful and friendly representative walked me through sizes, styles and other details on the phone, assured me that exchange and return are no problem, and had two pairs of Converse All Stars (high top black, low red) at my door the next day! Grandma was happy, daughter is thrilled, wears them all the time!

Buyer beware: Order one full size smaller than your actual size. Otherwise great shoe.

To be honest I was a little skeptical of ordering red shoes because I have sort of big feet and was worried that they would look like clown shoes, or worse, Ronald McDonald shoes. But in reality these are amazingly comfortable, cool-looking shoes and their purchase was of course accompanied by amazing Zappos customer service. I truly couldn't have made a better purchase, or had a better experience doing just that.

Shoes came in plenty of time for when I needed them. They fit great and I love the way they look old school with the tongue out and your jeans tucked in! I normally wear a 8 but went for the 7 and they fit perfect because they can look to big.

These are so cute, but I did put a gel insert in them because they are very flat. With the insert in place they are very comfortable.

Ive been wearing All-Stars since I was a kid and I will never go without a pair. The quality has been very consistent throughout the years. They are comfortable and light-weight and haven't changed terribly much since the first design. Overall great as always.

Great for serious workouts. The flat sole gives me better prociopetion (look it up) for workout and the all black monochrome helps me set the mood for a good workout. Great shoe! My feet are a little wide so the shoe feels narrow, but not so narrow that I need a larger size.

I had never owned a pair of Converse, but decided that I would give them a try. I am glad I did as they fit very well, and look great! The almost complete absence of arch support isn't the best, but it doesn't cause any discomfort. Well, I guess it might if you wanted to use them as running shoes or something. Either way, Converse are for style, not performance and they do that job well!

This shoe is a very good fitting shoe. It is a medium width but fits more snug than other medium width shoes that I have purchased. It is light weight and has a durable sole. A very comfortable shoe. Recommend.

Can\'t beat the classic All Stars. My son\'s wrestling has taken to wearing a different color shoe on each foot. No one had done pink yet!

LOVE my new Converse hi-tops! Very stylish. I love them so much I just ordered a maroon pair. The only downside is the lack of arch support. That's why I only gave a 4-star rating for comfort. I added inserts and that solved the issue. I definitely recommend these sneakers.

The best shoe, ever. That said, there's no shame in getting a pair of gel inserts or something along those lines if you wear these every day.

The shoes came very quickly. I was suprised how fast, and they were just as I expected.

This product and every other purchase we have made from Zappos has been great. Everything we have bought has been received by our granddaughter in less than 24 hours. The girls in customer service are so friendly, caring and funny!

My husband has been wearing these shoes since 1956. A few years ago the local stores started carrying whole sizes only, so we were glad to find Zappos carries half sizes also. We have also been pleased with the service you provide.

My whole family loves these. Converse always run a 1/2 to a full size big. We all have to put insoles in them to have some support.
