I bought these shoes because a guy in a strength book I read wears them for balance and flat footed feel. They work great I wear them every day that I workout. Also you can't go wrong with this classic!

Classic Converse shoe that we all grew up with. Still made the same way it was when we were kids a million years ago.

The delivery was so fast that I still don't understand how it was done and I had even checked the slow free delivery. The shoes are as they should. Fits perfectly, well it's a classic.

Great shoe. Exactly what you would expect of a Converse shoe. Fits very well as long as you choose a size smaller and looks great with jeans.

Great shoes, you can't go wrong with these classics. They do run a bit large as converse always do so order a half size down as they suggest.

Love the look, and they're really flexible so there's no break in. Been wearing Converse since I was a kid. The high-tops are a bit of a chore to get back into so if you don't like fussing with the laces all the time, get the ox model. Unless you wear a half-size, you're best off buying these online as most brick and mortar retailers only have whole sizes. These definitely run 1/2 size big so if you wear a 9, get an 8-1/2. If you must have arch support, plan to add your own orthotic as these shoes have none. Some of the more special models (like the leather-upper ones) do have a removable foot bed so you can easily add an orthotic without making adjustments in the size. The regular canvas shoes do not have this feature. Write to Converse if you think they should have a regular Chuck with a removable foot bed and I did! Love these shoes, but only four stars because of the flat foot bed issue.

These shoes smell. The glue from the factory is pungent and overwhelming. Recommend storing them in the garage if you're not wearing them.

You can't go wrong with a pair of Chucks! They are like old friends. The thing I like most is the service from Zappos. The shipments always arrive more rapidly than I anticipate. The customer service with Zappos is supreme!

These shoes are adorable, but lack arch support and give me a blister during the first month of wear due to the narrow toe box. The next size up is too large. I love these shoes, but they\'re much more of a fashion statement than a comfortable shoe.

Super cute shoes, they run big though so get at least a half a size smaller, if not a full size.

These shoes arrived exactly as I had ordered them. They fit a little on the big side, but were perfect for my wedding! They\'re good solid shoes, but they\'re not exactly built for comfort.

These shoes are phenomenal. They\'ve become my everyday shoe for work\/city\/chill time. They\'re Chucks, which means that you\'re getting a simple shoe, awesome style, and no arch support whatsoever. You gotta be a little masochist to wear them, but give it 6 months, and they\'ll fit your feet like a glove.

The Converse are fine. Fit true to size, though not the best shoes for winter as I already knew. For years I've worn the black Converse and decided to go with the white (cream). I have to say I prefer the black.

I absolutely love Zappos. I have called several times to place orders as well as return merchandise and each time I am greeted by a professional and courteous customer service representative. They are extremely pleasant and make doing business easy, hard to find anywhere else lately! Oh! And the shoes are great, too!

Converse - I got the black on black ones. Comfortable, true to size. Like the look. Classic style, which is not as padded as the new sneaker designs.

Converse - The only problem I had with this shoe was the fact that at the toe, the tongue dug into my toes.

Like you have no shoes on - Love these shoes, comfortable, roomy, and easy to wear. They are canvas so they do tear/wear along the seam if you wear them all the time, like we do. But we keep buying more!

Absolutely great pair of shoes. Excellent look and extremely easy to keep clean. There is an awkward popping sound when you first wear them but after a week or 2 the shoe will literally mold to your foot removing the sound. Highly recommend!

Ninja Chucks - I like the all-black hi-tops. I wish these existed back in the day when I was goth. :) I've actually been able to dress them up surprisingly well.

Buy arch supports with these! Chuck Taylors are the epitome of casual footwear, but let's face it: they have ZERO arch support! I recommend that when you buy these, plan on buying at least some cheap-o arch supports (I bought some $20 orthotics that have lasted through 4 pairs of Chucks). I keep buying Chuck Taylors because there is not a shoe available that rivals the ankle support that they give. Converse with arch support are the BEST! (Converse without arch support, right out of the box = the worst).
