Converse are ultimately cool sneakers...and as beauty often does...it comes with some down-sides. You get to have the right size, as the rubber front end does not ever widen. There is no foot-bed and when you wear them in hot weather they can get smelly...but hey, they are cool.

These run BIG!!! I bought a 12 and when they came, I felt like I was a kid again trying on my fathers shoes!!! Buy a size smaller.

Converse are a great classic style. My husband wore these with his suit for our wedding and they really looked great! However, they were too narrow for his feet and he'll likely not wear them very often. I wish Converse carried wides. I have a couple pair of Converse myself and feel that they are narrower than other shoes but stretch and conform to your foot nicely after a few wearings.

I ordered these shoes for my wedding. Yes, I said wedding. Ordering was easy, and they arrived quickly within a couple of days of ordering. Since I have other colors of Chuck Hi-Tops, I knew what size to order. It is true they have zero arch support. If your feet give you trouble do not buy these. But I have arch supports which travel between shoes and they work well in these shoes. And it is nice when wedding shoes are both stylish and practical! I have ordered from Zappos before and will do so again, but I will not marry again.

I love these shoes, but there is nothing to them. I have to put in inserts if I want to wear them all day or they start to hurt my feet.

The Chucks provide classic style. They seriously can be dressed with any sort of attire: up, down, worn out, fresh and clean, whatever. They do run a one size too large. I wear a size 11 in Chucks whereas I normally wear a size 12 in most other brands. The shoes are decently comfortable, but the make my feet hurt if I do too much walking in them. Definitely not a good athletic shoe. I tried ballin' in these before, and it turned out to be a very bad idea. I didn't jump higher; I just had sore feet. I also ride my bicycle a lot and these shoes are terrible for that. The soles come undone and they also aren't thick enough to do a good job. Even without biking, the shoes wear out while just walking. And, while I like the worn in look, I have to repeatedly buy new pairs due to worn out soles, holes and tears. That being said, I keep buying them because they are that classic.

I bought these shoes because a guy in a strength book I read wears them for balance and flat footed feel. They work great I wear them every day that I workout. Also you can't go wrong with this classic!

Classic Converse shoe that we all grew up with. Still made the same way it was when we were kids a million years ago.

The delivery was so fast that I still don't understand how it was done and I had even checked the slow free delivery. The shoes are as they should. Fits perfectly, well it's a classic.

Great shoes, you can't go wrong with these classics. They do run a bit large as converse always do so order a half size down as they suggest.

Love the look, and they're really flexible so there's no break in. Been wearing Converse since I was a kid. The high-tops are a bit of a chore to get back into so if you don't like fussing with the laces all the time, get the ox model. Unless you wear a half-size, you're best off buying these online as most brick and mortar retailers only have whole sizes. These definitely run 1/2 size big so if you wear a 9, get an 8-1/2. If you must have arch support, plan to add your own orthotic as these shoes have none. Some of the more special models (like the leather-upper ones) do have a removable foot bed so you can easily add an orthotic without making adjustments in the size. The regular canvas shoes do not have this feature. Write to Converse if you think they should have a regular Chuck with a removable foot bed and I did! Love these shoes, but only four stars because of the flat foot bed issue.

These shoes smell. The glue from the factory is pungent and overwhelming. Recommend storing them in the garage if you're not wearing them.

You can't go wrong with a pair of Chucks! They are like old friends. The thing I like most is the service from Zappos. The shipments always arrive more rapidly than I anticipate. The customer service with Zappos is supreme!

These shoes are adorable, but lack arch support and give me a blister during the first month of wear due to the narrow toe box. The next size up is too large. I love these shoes, but they\'re much more of a fashion statement than a comfortable shoe.

Super cute shoes, they run big though so get at least a half a size smaller, if not a full size.

These shoes arrived exactly as I had ordered them. They fit a little on the big side, but were perfect for my wedding! They\'re good solid shoes, but they\'re not exactly built for comfort.

These shoes are phenomenal. They\'ve become my everyday shoe for work\/city\/chill time. They\'re Chucks, which means that you\'re getting a simple shoe, awesome style, and no arch support whatsoever. You gotta be a little masochist to wear them, but give it 6 months, and they\'ll fit your feet like a glove.

The Converse are fine. Fit true to size, though not the best shoes for winter as I already knew. For years I've worn the black Converse and decided to go with the white (cream). I have to say I prefer the black.

I absolutely love Zappos. I have called several times to place orders as well as return merchandise and each time I am greeted by a professional and courteous customer service representative.
