In these shoes I always order 1/2 size down. They fit as expected because I know they run large. Otherwise, you know what you are getting with Converse! Plus, I can wear these to work since they are black.

Sneakers need to be broken in, they rub against the toe and upper leg. I bought these for Halloween but have worn them with regular clothes as well. Overall typical Converse style and again need be broken in.

Look great with whatever you want to wear. Would not want to walk a lot in them though because of the lack of arch support. Size down.

I've been wearing these for MANY years. Always get 1 size smaller because I like when they lace up tight. (shoe size 10...Chuck Taylor All Stars 9). Thinking about slipping in an insole for some arch support.

I wore these all the time in the 90s, decided it was time to do so again. They are Chucks! Poor arch support, but insoles help. My only complaint is that I really wanted them in a gray color so I ordered the "charcoal." The charcoal is actually more brown. I thought it looked like that in the picture but figured in person they would look more gray. They don't. The are brown. So Converse has a strange definition of "charcoal." I still like them enough though.

Love Chucks, love Zappos, I just happen to get a irregular pair. Left shoe was much narrower at the toe than the right shoe, visually you could see it as well. Return was spot on and no issues. Converse quality control was at fault here.

The size chart and the size indicated on the shoe don t match. A 25 cm shoe according to the size chart should be 9 US and 39 EU, so I ordered it, it arrived and the shoe label said 40 EU, 25.5 cm and 9US.

The style is great. Not much support for walking or running. Best for standing around and looking cool.

Great classic style, there is no arch support so don't plan on marathon running in these. Great price for a casual athletic shoe.

Great trainer, timeless style and awesome value. I just purchased my first pair ever this year and all I keep asking myself is 'why did you wait so long' before trying them out. For reasons unbeknownst to me, these 'Chucks' All Stars pairs well with pretty much everything. Some say it's a half size too big, I believe it to be close to a whole size too big (buy the two sizes and return or gift the one that doesn't fit). Enjoy!

I bought these solely for weight lifting. The flat, hard sole is great for deadlifting, squats, and just about any sort of lifting exercise. But there is one thing: these shoes are not as great for someone who is flat footed, like I am. For me, the problem is not that there is no arch support (sometimes arch support hurts and I'd rather do without it), but rather that the shoe is not wide enough. If they made these with the option of a wide sized shoe, then I would have no complaints in the gym.

As usual, the product arrived in record time; a trademark of Zappos. I'm judging Chuck Taylor's shoes based on what I remember from years ago - the canvas seems a little thinner than what I'm used to but adequate. Remember to buy arch support inserts as these shoes have always lacked proper arch support. A plus is you can wash them in your washer; but recommend air dry. Good shoe overall.

The shoe I received was not the all black one pictured, but my daughter grabbed her paints and personalized them anyway. We love Converses, so it's all good.

These shoes are 'cooleer than cool'. A real classic...and the red is such a fun colour. That said, my son's feet get sweaty in them (so do mine in mine from 30 years ago!). Maybe the rubber toe box?

Classic Converse. Order one size smaller than usual, I wear a 14 normally and a 13 in Converse. Zappos is always great to buy from.

These are cool shoes with timeless style. Make sure to buy a half size smaller then your usual size.

I bought a pair of these shoes because lots of research shows these shoes are universally accepted as the best power-lifting shoes available. After a couple lifting sessions, I can verify that these shoes do make a difference. The flat sole and lack of gel padding really helps with generating power and "spreading" the floor. From what I've heard, the canvas and good craftsmanship make these shoes last a long time if solely used for lifting. I'd definitely recommend -- although if you have a really wide foot you might not fit into these. I have about a half inch of space in the toe to allow for a wide enough shoe.

Great Shoes, But No Arch Support. Really. I have owned and worn many pairs over many years. Despite the claims of some other reviews, THESE SHOES HAVE NO ARCH SUPPORT. I buy insoles with arch supports to put in them, and you should plan on doing the same if you need it. You cannot find a shoe that is flatter on the inside. Just so you know. Cheers.

Nice shoes... These shoes are great! Very stylish and lots of fun...Just one down thing, they wear very fast, the sole won't last as it used to, but still, they're a good pair to go out and play.
