WW Too narrow for a EEE - I have wide feet (EEE) and thought I'd give the WW width in this shoe a shot. Now I know better and that I have to order a true EEE.(Even that doesn't work on some shoes.) Other than that, the shoes were attractive, light weight and well made. Too bad they don't make a EEE. Will be returning these shoes.

Comfortable shoe with good support for your arches, etc. Holds up well under pressure.

Give it a try! I ordered this shoe and was pleasantly surprised when I received it. I ordered the width I needed and 1/2 a size long. Seems like a perfect fit. For the first couple of days the right shoe was a little tight on the width, but has stretched and fits comfortably now. You guessed it, they are made in China (but what shoe isn't). I bought this Wolverine because I had great experience with a prior pair. This shoe seems to be just what I wanted.

The shoes that I received would have been perfect except that the stitching of the upper to the sole was uneven and the leather was not neatly trimmed. The padding of the left shoe, although very cushioning, made a hiss as I walked that nearly distracted as much as the squeak of the sole. (I imagine both sounds would go away with time, but if not, it's an expensive and noisy commitment.)

Wolverine Shoe Reveiw - I've owned several pair of these oxford work shoes since around 1996 or so. Quality and comfort has always been excellent. As a maintenance guy on his feet 10 hours a day on hard concrete floors these shoes were A-1. These new versions that are made in China are not as good yet they still cost about the same, what gives? Fit seems a little big. The Dura Shock insoles are not as comfortable as my older ones and my feet feel sore at the end of my shift. Its a shame the quality has be compromised and yet they still cost the same. They do look great though and thats a plus.

I stand all day on concrete and my first pair of these shoes were absolutely great--they took a beating and even when they were getting worn out they were still very helpful for my feet and legs and lasted for well over a year and a half. well I bought a new pair and found them to be just as comfortable, then after 4 months of normal wear the soles on both shoes split across the ball of each foot. I just thought I had a faulty pair and went out and bought another pair and after five months the soles split in the same manner as the previous pair, well it is a shame that such a comfortable shoe is now being manufactured with very poor materials and shoddy workmanship.

What went wrong! After wearing this shoe 6 days a week for about 1 year and the sole on the left shoe has split wide open! I wear this shoe for walking and it does not receive any abuse! In fact, there are many days that I spend the majority of the time at my desk. There was no excuse for a 95 dollar shoe to fail in this manner!

Zeus - I must admit these are probably the most comfortable shoe ever purchased. Bought these online through Zappos two years ago. The only problem I've had is they LEAK. Just walking through grass in the morning (dew) leave my feet soaked. This is by no means anything against Zappos. I've made a number of purchases from this fine company. Just avoid this Wolverine product.

Split sole - I purchased these shoes a few years ago, despite a review reporting that the soles of these shoes split too easily. Well, guess what? The sole on the left shoe split wide open within about a year of (infrequently) wearing these. They looked nice and were otherwise comfortable, but given my experience and others' with the soles splitting, we have to conclude that there is probably a design defect. Do not buy them, guys.

Fit is excellent. Quality is excellent. These shoes have maintained their quality even with the Overseas construction. Not many brands can say that anymore. Was a long (painful) search for a comfortable, durable Oxford but now I am happy. Thinking of getting some black ones.

Being on my feet all day, I needed a shoe with all-day comfort and durability. When I first slipped these on, the fit and comfort told me I had made a good choice. Now that I've worn these for a few weeks, I'm sold on these shoes.

Looking for two years for replacement for my Havana Joe's. These fit great and were extremely comfortable for walking. I don't do reviews but these were so great I wanted to let you know. Even better than the Havana Joe's. Look great and well constructed.

This is my second pair. I am on my feet all day and theses are the best shoes I have found for comfort and the ruggedness is a bonus. If it's not enough archfor you, or if it breaks donw a bit after a few yeras, a Spinco 1/2 innner sole with plastic arch can give you a boost. I have those in my older pair, but have not needed them in the new pair.

My husband loves these shoes--extremely comfy! He wears a 10 1/2 EE.

I've been trying many shoes in this class for a while now, maybe the price isn't much these days but I really did expect more for my money. This is the first shoe that I've not returned to Zappos in my recent trials. It's very light and airy on the feet, will be fine for everyday use for someone heavy on their feet as I am. I wanted a shoe I could take long walks in as well and these start to really hurt before 3 miles. Visually, I think they are a little weird looking, the leather is cheap. They have a cute-ish shape but the sole is also weird looking from the side. They are very strong and supportive though, I'm overweight and these do give the structure I need. If I never leave the office, they'd be fine.

The tongues on these shoes are not the same length and even the longer of the two is too short! Its the last thing I would expect to go wrong on his 3rd or 4th shoe trial. I'm not going to bother ordering more, as I am suspicious of the quality of a company that would send this pair of shoes out into the world. Something has happened to Wolverine. Eccos looked great, but he wouldn't even try them on -- thinking they were too nice? So now its Rocksports. Boring, but maybe the tongues will be the same length? As always, Zappos is amazing.
