Great feeling shoe. No break-in needed. Lightweight for a work shoe so legs don't get so tired from pounding the concrete all day. True to size. If this shoe holds up as good as Wolverine work shoe # SR1517 I will be making this my choice for future purchases. SR1517 has a replaceable insole which is definitely a plus so that it can be replaced when it becomes compressed from heavy wear. I will let you know in a year if the Zeus work shoe is as good or better than #SR1517. I have been wearing SR1517 for at least ten years and the only reason I decided to buy the Wolverine Zeus is because it was cheaper. I am a month into the trial, will let you know how it goes.

I wore out a similar pair from a few years ago. The arch support and foot cushioning simply can’t be beaten. Tough, long lasting, and supremely comfortable. I work on hard floor a lot, and they really keep my feet from hurting.

Great shoe. This shoe is very comfortable. Excellent for those that are on their feet for long hours, the soles are very well padded, and keep your feet and back ache free. The fit seems to be true to size, and the look is classic. Nothing flashy, but great for work or paired with khakis or jeans for a casual evening out. I hope this style stays with us; it’s hard to find this kind of comfort. The Mars Oxfords were discontinued, so I’m hoping these will be available in the future.

Great Shoes! I'm not the type that normally has much to say about shoes, but the cushioned insole makes Zeus Oxfords feel wonderful and I think they have a classic look. The quality is excellent too.

Finally... RELIEF! I am on my feet 8-10 hours per day...usually on concrete. For a while, I've been experiencing back and leg problems. I had worn this brand and style in the past, and decided to try them again... but found them hard to find. I found the pair from you and after wearing them noticed a big change in the way my back and legs felt. Sadly, you only had the one pair, so I intend to contact Wolverine to encourage them to continue to manufacture the style (or something similar).

Wolverine's Zeus Oxford -Mens - Have been buying this shoe for about 10 years and in that time I have never worn out a pair. I usually have to replace them due to normal wear and tear that would otherwise be acceptable in a warehouse environment. The shoe is so comfortable that I even use it for social gatherings.

Steve in Tacoma - Unfortunately the Wolverine and I were not compatible at all. The leather heel design and construction was very uncomfortable and resulted in me dressing my heels each day with bandages. After four days I gave up and now exchanging the shoes for the Rockport brand. Zappos' customer support was tops in listening and taking care of this issue.

John in Florida- The Wolverine Zeus I ordered was a men’s 9 EW. The shoes arrived 2nd day as a gift from Zappos. But I must return them due to the size, felt too small. I reordered the same shoe 1/2 size larger. I ordered two pairs to take advantage of a sale price. Let’s hope they fit.

Wolverine Zues Oxford- Best kitchen work shoe I have ever owned and I have been in the industry for 20 years. Slip-resistant soles and very comfortable. Laces loosen up as the day progresses but other than that, they're worth the $$. Invest in these and you invest in saving wear and tear on your feet. Also, I ordered these at 10:00PM and they were at my door by 10:00AM the next day!! Zappos is the way to go for all of your footwear needs.

Good walking shoe - The shoes were very comfortable right out of the box. The padding and support were just right for me.

Relief from the pain - I suffered from plantar fasciitis for six months going from one doctor reccommended insert to another before I found the dura shock heel wolverine. Four years later and I have yet to have a relapse of this debilitating pain. This is the only shoe reccommended by the U.S. Postal service. I LOVE THIS SHOE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Zeus Oxford Review-My Fave Shoe - I sought to replace my most comfortable pair of shoes that I had ever worn at my job-- a pair of Zeus oxfords from Wolverine. My job requires an extreme level of foot cumfort since it entails standing for 12 hours. You see, I am a pharmacist and most days I do not sit down, not even for lunch. I last purchased a pair of these shoes at a retail shoe outlet in Mobile, AL over three years ago. Splits had developed in the soles. I tried to locate a new pair without success in retail stores in this area. Thinking that they might have been discontinued, I searched the web for an answer and was pleasantly surprised by their availability. I probably will order another pair soon since it is very difficult to find a pair of shoes that meets my job's dress code, fits my foot (I need an extra wide shoe), and cushions my feet adequately for my 12 hour workday. I hope this shoe is at least available until I retire, or I will have to stockpile some extras! Thanks, James S. Nichols Fairhope, AL

The Best Shoes on Earth - I have been buying Wolverine shoes for over 20 years and have not been able to find another shoe or boot that can compare. If you want comfort and durability, Wolverine is the brand to buy. Shoe's are like any other product out there in the market. Sometimes you get little defects in the material. I have had defects and Wolverine backed me 100% when it came time to return for a replacement.

I would like to express to you the feel of the durashock system. I have a pair of boots I use for working around the house. They have the Durashock system. I can work all day. Well recently I have been having trouble at work with standing all day. Well, I searched and found the oxfords and purchased them. My leags are now not hurting, my feet do not pound when I get home.

My second pair - These shoes are really comfortable. I bought a pair earlier in brown and got one, this time in black. If you walk a lot or stand on the job, these are the ones.

I liked the look and feel of this shoe but the soul split right under the ball of my foot from normal use. In my opinion, the Durashock soul is not designed well.

One of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. If you are on your feet a lot, they are great. Almost feel like walking in house shoes. Great product.

One of the best shoes out there- This is one of the best shoes I have ever worn. I constantly have foot pain on both feet, and when I wore this shoe anywhere I couldn't feel the pain anywhere. Great shoe, great sole, great leather, awesome support and extremely comfortable.

These shoes fit really well. There is not quite as much cushioning under the heel as I would like, but it\'s good enough. The only other drawback I can find is that the insole is a stitched-in padded leather type that can\'t be removed and replaced when it wears out.

Great Shoe, Funny Sounds - Wonderfully comfortable shoe. Air cushioned soles are great if you're on your feel a lot. Also great casual look. Downside, until they're broken in, the insoles make funny whooshing sounds when you walk, plus the soles make horrible squeaking sounds on polished floors.

I bought size 9.5 EW. The heel on these shoes seemed a little high to me, and after the first day, it had already rubbed the skin off the back of my heels. But they were comfortable, so I persisted. I wore 2 foam bandages (for the thickness) on the back of each heel for about 7-10 days to break them in. It was worth the wait, because now I can wear them comfortably without any rubbing. One thing though, if your feet get hot and sweaty, as my feet often do, these shoes will trap in the heat and make your feet sweat. The soles also feel a little thick and might feel a little clunky to walk in initially. The shoes also looked a little clunkier than they appear on the internet, but that's probably because I wear a size 9.5 Extra Wide which tends to be shorter.

Comfort to stand all day long- I work in a door and window shop and have to stand all day. These shoes are the best work shoes I've found hands down. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because the art support is a little weak.
