Get Some Today - The Super-Birki is the ultimate kitchen shoe. Anybody who works in a restaurant needs to have them. They are light-weight, slip resistant and as comfortable as any non-work shoe I've ever worn. Some think they are too expensive, but when you are still wearing your Super-Birki's three years from now, and people have run through multiple pairs of cheap kitchen shoes, you will realize the value of your investment and join the strange, loyal, Birkenstock movement.

Takes a bit to get used to, but you won't regret it... I was expecting a softer footbed, but they are great shoes. I am a nurse and work the night shift and these do the job. The outer portion of the shoe wipes clean and can be cleaned to 140 degrees, which is great. Overall, this is a good shoe. It takes some time to get used to the footbed, but after, it is pretty heavenly.

Good Shoes, Minor Problems - I’m on my feet 12-14 hour days and had constant back pain. After I got these shoes my back pain went away. Great shoes, took me about 3-4 days to break them in, which by the way made my feet hurt really bad for those days. I also cut out the cork part where my pinkie toe, and the two toes next to the pinkie out. The tips of just those three toes would touch just barely and it felt like those toes were being jammed in the front of the shoes. After those days and cutting out the cork the shoes feel great.

Good. The first couple of days were hell, because I was so used to a pair of worn down tennis shoes. I am a cook, and work long days (anywhere from 8-15 hours). These, after about a week have been heaven. I do find myself wearing a slightly thinner sock, and have had more comfort with that. Where the top of the clog rubs against my foot (about 2/3rds of the way to my ankle from my toes) I have some red marks from the end of the clog rubbing my foot. Not sure if anyone else had this issue. Overall, they are great, and maybe I just have tall feet (which I have never noticed before, but I'm not one to rule anything out). Would recommend for anyone working in a kitchen, and I tell all my co-workers that these are the way to go.

Birks are the Best - I have foot plantar fasciitis and Birks are THE ONLY shoe that I can wear all day and not be in pain. I have purchased several pair at your outlet store. It was just as easy to order on line. I was so excited when I received them I put them on immediately. Birks are the best I recommend them to everyone!

Better feet forever - I was looking for a comfortable nursing shoe for bad feet - THIS IS IT - I get inflamed sore feet if I walk, run, stand for too long, and after hours on my feet in the hospital, and the other nurses are looking for a place to sit down my feet are still fine! I did replace the insole with a POLYSORB by SPENCO insole for extra cushion. Fabulous!

My favorite clog - I held off after purchasing these to make sure I liked them. I love them. I'm a firefighter in Chicago and stand on concrete when not wearing the boots. These clogs save my life from having to wear those god-awful uniform shoes around the house. Additionally, I wear a size 12 but had to order the 12.5 to get the good fit. This is not the case with my regular sandals from Birkenstock. I also do all the cooking so I can relate the fine chefs that have posted. Comfort and protection from splashes and water damage.

Where's all the Hype? While these are good shoes, I had my hopes too high, I believe. I'm a nurse working 12hr shifts and these were supposed to be "miracle shoes". The arch support is minimal. I find my Crocs (half the price) just as comfy. I also enjoy my Dansko clogs more. That said these are still a good shoe. I recommend ordering down a size if you have a standard foot in length and width. Enjoy!

This is a great shoe. I am a nurse in a busy emergency room and work 12 hour shifts. I couldn't possibly do this if I didn't own these shoes. They are just the best ever. Forget about those other cheap "rubber" shoes and buy the best, they are worth it.

Super Birki - Love this shoes for work, comfortable, great arch support.

Good shoe - Took a couple of days to get used to the firmness of this shoe. currently wear 14 to 16 hours a day 7 days a week in commercial kitchen. Recommend to anyone looking for an occupational clog.

Makes crocs look sick. Looks, Style, comfort, sizes are true. They got it all! Cost is a bit more but well worth it.

Birkenstock Super-Birki - This shoe provides comfort over a long period of time. If you are not used to wearing Birkenstocks, the feel and fit require a period of adjustment. I walked all over Europe in mine and felt no discomfort while experiencing great wear and convenience, especially in airports when removing shoes in the press of screening lines can be nerve-wracking. The only caveat I would include is that heavy socks improve the wearability and comfort of this shoe.

Comfy!!! Granted these are a little less attractive than some most other shoes...but, they are absolutely the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn...I spend a great deal of time on my feet chasing after toddlers and preschoolers...and they are perfect for the job!!! I love them and you will to!!!...funny thing...my kids call them my green smurf shoes...

Best Pro Chef Shoe - I've been a chef for about 13 years now and I've worn these for 10 of them. I'm only on my 3rd pair, though I've changed the inserts a bunch of times. I've tried everything and nothing comes close to these for comfort. I actually wear the regular pro version-they have a taller back to cover the whole heel, which I prefer in the kitchen, but don't have the cork footbed. Do yourself a favor, buy them slightly big, they should be slightly loose. Your toes will thank you. Also, give them about a week to break in. Once the footbed is broken in, it's like wearing slippers all day, I promise.

Good nursing shoe, especially if you have bunions- Great. I'm a nursing student and wear these to clinicals. I have bunions and these have been very good to me. They are not soft and squishy on the inside so I recently began trading off with Crocs on alternated days, which I think will be a good balance. What is key is that my feet don't hurt for three days after clinicals now. Yahoo! I recommend that Zappos list this style under nursing shoes.

2_Flat_Feet_&_1_Heel_Spur- Any shoe with cork bedding is just what you need if you have any heel spurs. The contoured insole help you exercise your toes as you walk. I purchased these to walk around the house and yard and walk the dogs. I am a size 12d, and find up-sizing to 12-1/2 works well on sandals and clogs.

Great Kitchen Shoes, I recommend these shoes to anyone who works in a professional kitchen. They are comfortable to stand in all day and they can be sanitized to very important things for kitchen shoes. They take a week to break in then they are more comfortable, the sizing is pretty close to a tennis shoe size.

Can't work without them. I wore my last pair of Birki's for eight years. I am a Nurse and spent 14 hours a day standing on hard floors. With out my Birki's my back and feet kill me. The insoles are replaceable and last about a year. Can't say that for any other shoe. The rubber outer shoe held up through conditions you don't even want to know about. Including being run over by gurneys frequently. I just won't work without them.

Super-Birki's are Super!! These shoes are true to the Birkenstock tradition of comfort and style. Clean up easily and the style is unbeatable!!

My feet feel as good as they are going to! I work as a nurse so I'm working 12-13 hour shifts and spend a lot of it on my feet. I don't think there is any shoe out there that would keep my feet from hurting at least a little, but this one has greatly improved how I feel at the end of my shift. I already owned Birkenstock sandals and loved them so when my other shoes no longer seemed to be supportive enough, I thought let's give these a try -- I'm glad I did. As for sizing, you have to know what you wear in a Birkenstock before buying. They don't run quite the same as your other shoes, but these ran true to my other Birkenstocks.

WOW! After a little wear (18hrs)...these shoes rock! I was surprised once I gave em a chance. Im glad I finally purchased these. I'm on my feet at WHOLE FOODS 8hrs -craaazy! NO TIRED FEET. DANGIT!! Full size too small!! I think this may apply only to cats with big wheels like me (15M) but even though the size chart says a European 48, turns out I definitely needed a 49 (16M, US). There ARE no 49's. Same size Steve Maddens were shipped with the Birki's and they are perfecto... so I know I'm definitely a 15M. DANG! I'm so disappointed-- I love this shoe! Back they go.

The workmanship and comfort of this style is as one would expect from Birkenstock; however the shoe is man-made composition and does not breathe as well as leather, so it can be hotter and moister than usual. Otherwise, the comfort level and support is as good as one would expect from this brand.

Great for servers - I am a server and am on my feet for many hours a day, and these are so comfortable for work. They provide great support for having to be on your feet all day. The only problem is that we are required to wear slip resistant shoes that state that they are slip resistant on the bottom, which these don't. But overall, I'm very satisfied with the shoe for my particular purpose of needing them!
