These were just what I expected. I have a very high instep and the shoes are too tight with anything but the very thinnest of socks however I do like them otherwise and am hoping they will loosen up a tad after wearing for a while.

Love these shoes. I have been wearing Dansko clogs for years for my work at the hospital on Labor & Delivery (standing all the time) but my knees would start to hurt at the end of the day. These are amazing: comfortable, flat, and supportive. No pain. All comfort! The red is a nice change to my all-blue work wardrobe. A little color to make the long shift a little more interesting! And works well with my wider foot.

Let me start by saying I love these shoes and get lots of comments about my "dead-heads". I have very wide feet and was hoping these would be as wide as they look but they are not. Having said that I have been wearing them and they are stretching just enough during the breakin process to become very comfortable.

These are great!!! Of course, they're as comfortabgle and fantastic as the regular Birki, but these just have the added twist of fun. I am a Merchant Marine in charge of the Galley and Galley crew so I took a special liking to the skull and crossbones detail.

I normally wear a 42 in Birkenstocks (Boston, Arizona, Florida) but had to return these for a 43 as my toes hit the end a little bit. Would definitely say they run a half size small compared to regular Birkenstocks. They also are pretty high-volume (and of course there are no straps to adjust), so unless you have very high arches, you'll probably need to wear socks or add a cheapo Scholl's insole or something beneath the footbed. These are very supportive and soften up after a half hour or so of wear (very inflexible to start). Footbed does not seem as aggressive to me arch-wise as regular Birkenstocks. Very stable, seem pretty non-skid, and you can just hose them off. I got them to save my suede and leather Birks from getting trashed when I cook, run out to the barn, or take the dogs down the yard.

I bought these shoes as a birthday present for my boyfriend...he loved them! He wears a 10 1/2, and the shoes fit him perfectly. Beautiful quality and arrived in perfect condition.

My feet were burning up. I could not keep these on without taking my feet out frequently to let them breathe.

Love these shoes, wear them all the time. Even when gardening. I like that Zappos gives free shipping to Hawaii, and they arrived on time.

I absolutely love these shoes. I have worn Birkenstocks for years as an RN, and was hesitant to change to Berki's. They provide wonderful support and are comfortable all day. I have ordered two other pair of different colors. Love them!

I LOVE THESE SHOES! There was very little doubt, for me, that I wouldn't. I bought a pair in college (ah hem..a few years ago) and I STILL use them for outdoor work! I am an RN and I was able to put these shoes on and wear them the very next day:) And, I'm still wearing them to work each day; as, well as other places! This type shoe can feel a little loose; but, I think that is just the way they are made. I don't even realize that I have them on 1/2 the time.

I'm not one to write reviews, so here goes...these shoes are so comfy! I work at a veterinarian's office and am on my feet all day. I've worn regular tennis shoes but throughout the day, my feet are sore and I want to sit down. With these, it's like wearing nothing, you forget you have them on! They are, as one person mentioned, a little hard on the first day. The second day you noticed they will have conformed to the shape of your feet. Oh, one more thing, I ordered a 37 and they were big so I exchanged them for a 36 which are great! As for Zappos, well I've never experienced the kind of customer service that they provide. They are super nice and very accommodating. I called the very day I received the 37s and there was no hesitation on their end, no problem. To my surprise the 36s had been waiting for me when I came home. It was like magic. Just an all around feel good experience.

This is my second pair of Birki's for work. I love them! Being a nurse and on my feet for twelve hours at a time on the night shift these shoes make a long night bearable. Comfortable, supportive, and washable when the need arises, these shoes are more than worth their cost. Try them, you won't be disappointed.

Awesome shoe. I am on my feet nine hours a day and this shoe is very comfortable. My dog,Harry, ate my previous pair so had to reorder. Puchased brown and black. Great value too. Now if I can just keep them away from Harry I will have it made:)

Very comfortable. Kind of heavy, more like a clog than a Croc type shoe. Love that the whole thing can be disinfected! Took the inner part out and washed the shoes in my sink. Not as ugly, in my opinion as some others. Looks relatively normal with jeans or pants.

Wonder full shoes but are much wider than the original Birki's. I have worn my original shoes until they are tread less. But the new shoes do not fit.

Plantar fasciitis? What's that? Is what my poor hurting feet said the minute I put on my fabulous new Super-Birki's. They're not going to win any fashion awards, I suppose, but who cares if your feet don't hurt. My husband even had me get a pair for him and it is unheard of for him to spend this much for a pair of shoes.

I got these shoes for work. I'm an RN, so shoes are very important to me. When I first got these shoes I didn't like them, they felt hard and uncomfortable. BUT I continued to wear them around the house and found they conform to your feet and are so comfort. I love these shoes. They do tend to run small.

Although I liked the shape and comfortable feel on the inside, the outside was too hard like Swedish clogs. I assumed they were more soft and flexible like Crocs Brand.

These are the best shoes ever. I am on my third pair over the course of 15 years. By far, these are the most non-skid shoes I have ever owned. I started wearing them when I worked in restaurants and continue to now at my desk job because I love them so much. They are highly durable and better than most other Birkenstocks in that when the cork insert wears out, you can simply replace it (as in, take it out and stick another one in. no cobbler necessary). I find these most comfortable with either thicker socks (to keep my feet from sliding) or barefoot.

Love these "shoes!" I have had a pair for about 20 years, and ordered a new pair for using as chef shoes.

These are great Shoes for work or play. I got these based on a recommendation from a friend at work. We both have plantar fascitis, and she swears by these shoes. So I ordered a pair since she is always raving about them. The first day I noticed that they were awesome. I could see how some people might have trouble with the breaking in period. But it was not a problem for me. These are very comfortable. And by that I mean that after over 16 hours on my feet they are still comfortable. When you first put them on, they do not feel cushiony or pillowy, they actually feel kind of hard. But just go with it, and after a long day you will see that those cusiony shoes are killing you, but these, still fresh and comfortable feeling. So I gave a overall rating of five stars and five for comfort, but I can only give two stars for style. I mean come on, they look dorky. Also, I would like to note that I have wide feet at the toes and these even give me plenty of room. So if you have narrow feet, you will probably feel like you are swimming in these.

We received the ordered shoes very quickly, but they were a size too small for my wife. I returned the shoes for an exchange and unbelievably we received the correct size shoes the next day! I call that service! My wife loves them!
