Love these shoes: comfortable, relatively inexpensive, and long lasting.

Love My Birks! I have a lisfranc fracture- meaning a permanent break in my left foot along with no arch. Birkenstocks have been the only thing I have been able to wear for 5 years. The Zurich is great for NE winters to wear with socks. Love my Birks!

LOVE my Birkenstock Zurich sandal! This is a reload of a Zurich sandal that I had bought at a Birkenstock store, which they were out of (what, all Summer long?). I needed a new pair, old ones bought in '03 were falling apart. I like these 'cause they are like slippers in a way. Still get the orthotic support that I need. Review of my Birkenstocks - I bought this pair of "Birkies" because after 10 years on wearing them in all kinds of weather, they finally had to go. I hope to get as much wear with these as I did the last ones, and I'm sure I will. I can wear them with or without socks, which makes them a perfect shoe. Also love the way they mold to my foot. Reflexology Is Proven In This Shoe - What evidence in a shoe! Comfort. Almost like a massage for my feet. There isn't another word for this nubuck Zurich. I purchased this to wear instead of my usual flip flops. The sole does conform to your foot in time with your foot's warmth. I purchased this as it serves its purpose beautifully. I will purchase another style in Birkenstock that's pure comfort. This is durable and the full coverage is nice in cooler weather. Thank you for your excellent customer service and terrific personnel, Zappos. You'll have loyal me as a customer!

Birkenstock Comfort - These shoes are amazingly comfortable all day long. I am on my feet most of the day, and when I come home, I still continue to wear my Birkenstocks. Also, the customer service at Zappos is amazing! My husband ordered Merrill sandals a few days after I ordered the Birkenstocks, and his order came the next day! Thank you Zappos!

My paws - Birkenstocks are not beautiful. That said, these soft taupe-gray sandals are a pleasure to come home to, to slip into in the morning, to pad about in. I wear them barefoot or in chillier weather with wooly sox. I wear them more than any other shoe I own.

Great Birks - Bought these for my husband who has very large feet, and he loves them. He his a manager at a country club, so he is on his feet all day in dress shoes, and these are the first shoes he wants to put on when he gets off work. Of course they took some time to break in, and were uncomfortable at first, but now they fit him perfect.

Liking these more and more - This is my third pair of Birkenstocks and not the last. The Zurich is one of the original Birks but less clunky somehow than the 2-strap styles and looks good with capris. Years ago I admired these on an acquaintance and finally got a pair. Worth it! This is a nice classic replacement for an old pair of Florida’s worn to death and then lost. I usually wear a 6-1/2 WW and the 36 regular fits about right.

Zurich is a great shoe. I love my new Zurichs. They look great with or without socks and give a little more protection from the weather than other Birks. I usually wear a size 7 in a regular woman's shoe, but always take 36s ("size 5") in Birks.

New style for me but I like it! I'm trying the Zurich for the first time and I really like it! It may become my standard Birkenstock, with or without socks. I only wish there were more colors as I expect this light color to get dirty fairly soon. I highly recommend this one!

New Zurich’s after 18 years with my old ones - Had my old egg-plant purple Zurich’s for over 18 years and wore them rain, snow or shine. Absolutely loved them. Had never seen another pair like them during that time. My friends made a lot of fun about them, but I know deep down inside they really were envious. My wife and daughter had them rebuild two years ago for father's day and my cat recently used them for a litter box and ruined them. I will bury them in the garden this spring and place a memorial next to the site. Once again Zappos has proven their excellence by having my size in stock (taupe though) and I ordered them yesterday @ 6:00pm and they were shipped from Kentucky and on my doorstep in Carson City, Nevada today @ 2:30pm amazing!!! And the fit was perfect. I would recommend them to anyone. Thanks Zappos.

C From Minnesota - I am always amazed at the service of Zappos. The Zurich sandals are the most comfortable sandals I have ever worn. I own four different pairs of Birkenstock shoes. I get knee and back pain if I wear shoes that do not have a good arch support. Thanks again Zappos for your great products and great service people.

Stylish in Zurich - I love them!! Of course, they have the always comfortable fit and support of a Birkenstock. It's great to have another option in style and they are great with or without socks.

Such comfortable shoes. Just received these shoes from Zappos way faster than expected, and love them already. I have several other pairs of Birkenstocks and like them all for different reasons - these just seem to hug the top of my foot better than the others though. Would definitely recommend these shoes, and Zappos too.

Christmas presents! I purchased the Zurich for my daughter for Christmas. She has been wearing this shoe for sometime now. You are only one of a few companies that carries the Zurich. I've worn this style for many years; they are the most comfortable shoes I've ever found. The fit never changes; I just keep ordering the same size over and over as they wear out.

Wait a week then...wow - I hadn't worn a Birk in a while and forgot that they do really need a "break in" week. Once the leather had settled and my foot found its home, they were golden. I'm wearing them around the punishing streets of New York and they feel great. A perfect antidote to the summer heat. My last pair lasted 14 years. I hope these last as long!

Can I live in these? I have been a Birkenstock fan for years & I love the Zurich. Very comfortable & no break in time as with some Birkies... I would recommend them to anyone!

Got to have. I love these shoes. I also have them in brown leather and would/will buy more of this style. Birkenstock shoes are the only ones I have found that fit a wide/high foot.

Nice sandals - These are very nice sandals and have been pretty easy breaking in. I would recommend wearing them around the house for a while before out and about. Break them in casually and they will fit real nice and comfy.

Tiny Feet Meet Zappos - I have tiny feet and have worn the wrong size in Birks for awhile because I could never find them in the right size. Enter Zappos. I love my new petite Zurich’s. They are the summer equivalent of my Boston Clogs.

My Favorite... I have worn these shoes since I was 14. I am now 50. My friends used to laugh at me at how ugly they were... But guess who is all wearing them now...

My favorite shoe - I have worn the Zurich for probably 15 years and it is my favorite shoe. It isn't what I would call dressy but comfort is more important to me--and this shoe is wonderful for me.
