This boot was very narrow, much more than the size would indicate. I couldn't even get it on. Plus, your return policy is terrible. It cost me over $30.00 to return them. I will not buy from you again.

How there is a single good review for these I do not know. There is only half of an insole inside and are horribly uncomfortable and squeak so loud when walking because what insole is inside, isn't even glued down all the way. How these are seriously sold and people actually keep them is a mystery

Not the quality we used to be. The size is not American size.To make sure on your size shop in store so you can try.

I first bought size 11 shoes. sent them back, at my expense. received new pair size 10 1/2. steal too big, so they sit in the corner of my room and I will not wear them. Who sizes yarsour shoes? Lhad the same shoes back in the 70"s. L don"t want to spend another 11 dollars to send them back again. I already spent over 114 + very unhappy john b.

I have bought many pairs of boots very similar to this over the past 40yrs and loved every one of them, but the internal design of this boot has changed too much. The previous styles had a much flatter insole making it very comfortable for my flat feet. The bottom is now so stiff and bent that the heel tends to rock back and forth since the heel is not built flat to the ground, and made me feel like I was going to fall backwards. Other than that, it feels and looks like it was built well like all of the previous Florsheim boots and shoes I have purchased through the years. I hope to find another style which will have a flatter insole.

All my boots and shoes are 8.5 medium. I ordered the same size but these don't fit in that they are not wide enough. An 8.5 wide be required.

I got The Duke to replace an old pair of the same boots I've had for 8 years. Ordered them with the same specs as my original pair but it's not the same. The boot feels loose all the time, especially around the ankle as if it was redesigned. I wouldn't recommend them anymore.

These Duke boots are horrible and not what they used to be like. We're they redesigned? Cheaper manufacturer? No quality control? I've been buying and wearing Duke boots for years, but this latest batch sucks! I've had to return and exchanger way too much. Awkward fit. Either too big or too tight. Too short or too long. Very uncomfortable. I don't get it.

The shoes had a very cheap feel to them, which was atypical for Florsheim shoes. The zipper on one of the boots would stick as well.

I will be sending these back. I bought the white version and they clearly had been worn and returned. There was dirt in the bottom of the soles (like someone had stepped in mud) and there were dark scuffs all over the white leather. I was really excited about these because white boots are hard to find, but these were very disappointing. Even if they were pristine, the leather was very thin and the zipper seemed flimsy.

Not the same quality or design as original! Have sent them back for a full refund! I understand that I purchased the original about 15 years ago an inflation should have kicked in. I would have gladly paid the inflated price to get the same quality.

The boots that were sent were an old off white, dingy almost beige color: the rift shoe had a brown stain on the back. I took a picture. This is the second pair of white duke boots i have ordered. The first pair one shoe was defective. THIS IS THE LAST TIME I WILL ORDER ON LINE.. IT TAKES TOO LONG TO GET A REFUND!!

Not my size

I bought this shoe in white, and loved the look of it. Tried both on at home and realized that the smallest width available was still too wide, and with the heel And being too wide Ibwas going to be uncomfortable and unsafe walking the New York's mean streets, so I returned them. Bummed because they are soooper cool!

I have always liked this shoe cut for my husband, but the quality and cut leaves much to be desired when they were made in Italy. They were the best shoes, I like it, and because of regret, I did not return to my husband. instep. It's a pity that they no longer have the same quality.

the boots are similar but not what I own now. I ordered 9d and I received 9 1/2 d. I will not buy shoes florsheim or any other over the phone or internet again.

The sole is very thin. You can feel a thin dime if stepped on.

I am so disappointed. I have been a loyal Duke wearer for years. The Duke has been my favorite shoe for the better part of a decade. I don't know what has happened at Florsheim but the quality is not what it used to be. I purchased a pair, wore them a few times, and the sole started to crack and separate from the toe. I complained to Florsheim which was actually good and sent me a gift card. I then used the gift card to buy another pair of Duke boots. Well, I've worn the replacement pair a handful of times and again, there's already separation at the toe. I've looked high and low to find a comparable replacement shoe as I feel I can't invest in the Duke any longer. I'm at the point now, I'll pay a company if they can custom make me a similar shoe as the Duke truly is my favorite. Perhaps Florsheim needs to think about making one with a rubber sole for durability.

I have been wearing the same type of boot from Florshem for about 15 years. Do you still make a product that will fit and has a composite sole?

I've been buying Florsheim 'Duke' boots for years and have never had any problems until lately. Your quality has dropped dramatically . . . boots squeak, zippers don't work, soles come apart.

The above boot's size does not run in comparison to all the other boots. I order all my boots from you and have never had a problem like this. They were about an inch too short and very narrow. It was so small I could not even force my foot into it. We wondered if it may have been sized incorrectly.
