The shoes look cute. However I had to get the bottom of the shoes replaced. And they hurt my feet so bad I needed to put cushions in them.

Yes, online the boot have a beautiful cognac color. However, when it arrived in the mail, it was a light burgundy or dark pink. I don't have time to do returns, so I kept the boots. I'm thinking about having them dyed burgundy. I was really disappointed because I like this boot, but hate the color.

I have purchased about 12 pairs of these booths over the years (Primarily through Belk's) The boots I just received are the thinnest soles that I have ever seen on any of the boots I have and have had. I currently also have Black and Brown with the black highlits. Soles of boots are for women - Definitely not a man's sole The boots fit great The boots are easy on and easy off I would request that the sole be thicker - If so, I would recommend them for men.

I ask for a size 11.5,EEE. I received a size 11.5 .... but the boots weren't anything like a EEE size,the leather material seemed to be good,BUT the type of hard leather makes it very ,if not impossible to get thru the instep of the boot.(narrow) In general my experience with shoes made in India is,the "print" for the sizes is very narrow, ,that was because I asked for EEE,I wear a D.

Quality has dropped in the last 15 years. Same shoe I purchased years ago were much better. Leather bottom started cracking the first time I used these. Bottoms will not shine like previous shoes.

It is a beautiful looking boot but I had to send back the pair I bought because the boot was a little to small and most of all, the color you see in your picture and the color of the boot I received are different, the color I received was brown and I know this to be true because I have bought these boots in the past and they are different at the store where I bought them.

I use the boots as dress boots. The quality is not the same quality of the boot I bought in the 1980'2. That boot had a stitched on sole and a soft interior.

I gave this boot which I bought in white for my Elvis impersonation a 2 star rating ONLY BECAUSE THEY HAVE SUCH A LIMITED SUPPLY OF SIZES!!! so I had to order it in a 10 3E instead of a size 10.5 M which is a very common size!!! Since this is far and away the best Elvis boot available I find it SHOCKING they don't have it readily available in ALL SIZES!!! Sorry but Andre the Giant of wrestling fame was never an ETA so what's with most sizes only being available in 3E????

I love the look of this boot. Unfortunately, it runs extremely narrow. While I can wear a EEE in other Florsheim shoes, the EEE in this boot is way too narrow. I can't even get my foot inside.

Returned , my husband has ALWAYS worn 9 .5 EE and these boots would not even allow his foot into the boot. They were extremely narrow. I am hoping the Essex boot I ordered, in 1 size larger will do the trick, however we are still waiting on delivery as of today. 11-18-14 .

Love your boots. I can wear them all day and all night and never have a problem. I've been wearing your style boot since 1962 and obviously been very happy wearing them. That is until I ordered a pair of boots online. Now I have a set of boots that feel good at first, then problems show up. a little tight around the toes and I think I have to get arch supports. Never had to buy arch supports before, but the longer I wear them the more my feet ache. I thought it was because the shoe needed to stretch out a bit, but after repeated wearing the boots are still uncomfortable. Now I have to pack them up and send them back. What a pain. I can't figure out why all the stores in my area that carried your boot stopped.

Very limited selection for size 8 1/2 E. I used to buy casual loafers in this color, and would have again if they were available.

Well very low grade quality. Not comfortable it all I don't know what type of material it is but I can't not wear them it all . My opinion charge more money and get a better quality material

I used to wear this exact boot back in the '70s. Unfortunately they no longer fit the same way. I sent them back for a refund since they were too tight in my toe area.

I have bought this boot for many, many years, and is the only dress shoe I ever wear. When they arrived a few days ago and I opened the box, I thought I'd been sent a pair of army boots from World War One. You changed the heel, totally ruining their former beauty. Thanks for the heads up about the change and congratulations to the Philistine responsible for the "improvement".

WAY TOO SMALL

I could tell that no time was made into making these comfortable. As soon as I put them on I felt an immense amount of pressure in the front of my foot and there was practically zero padding under the foot. I'm an Elvis impersonator and wanted to use these boots but there's no way I could do a show and there's.

They looked cognac online and advertised as cognac, but they looked dark pink when I received them. I can't explain it!

I've been wearing the "Duke" for years and it seems every year the quality gets cheaper. A pair would usually last me six months, now the soles wear out and my feet get wet if I'm in the rain after just three months. Poor workmanship and cheaper materials = change brands.

I was under the impression the boots were all white! I did NOT want a brown heel and sole. To match this up, is not in my style... it looks like a cowboy boot, and i wear strictly dress!

I purchased this boot online in cognac. When it was received, the color was dark pink. I checked the model number inside the boots and they matched the numbers online. Maybe the leather is supposed to change colors after you wear them - lol. I'm too busy to return them, so I'm having them dyed burgundy. All and all, I no longer trust the photos on the website as an accurate depiction of the shoe for sale.
