I like the shoe overall but the top needs to be stretched to fit my legs. Currently unable to zip them up to the top because of this

I have worn Florsheim shoes for many years. The product is well made and comfortable. However, I have rated this particular product with three stars because the color was not what I had desired. I had expected a light tan and instead received a product that was closer to brown. However, as with most Florsheim products, the boot is very comfortable and stylish.

I currently have 6 pairs of Florsheim shoes. So needlessly for me to say I love Florsheim shoes. But, all are 10.5 medium and these boots are too big.

These boots are the best looking dress boots I can find. Unfortunately, the high heels (+1 inch) cause my feet to side downhill and collide with the toe leather. I have owned several pairs over the prior ten or fifteen years, with all behaving the same. In this current purchase, I changed from size 10 1/2 to size 11 with the thought of giving my toes more room. These new size 11 boots have the inside heels much too wide such that when I step, my foot raise upwards. Not good at all. I will give these boots to my son-in-law whose foot is bigger than mine. Then I will reluctantly buy another pair of 10 1/2 boots. So Florsheim, if you are listening, give me the option of regular height heels.

Excellent fit. The sole is thinner than I would normal wear, but white all leather boots are not easily had. Beautiful calfskin leather. Not crazy about the nylon zipper. The teeth are very tiny and Upper is not easy to zip up around my normal ankle. These boots are designed for walking on carpets. I don't recommend them for costant pavement walking. A very fair value.

Still undecided if i will keep the boots. The soles are glued on and will most likely come apart. Too bad Florsheim no longer makes the Royal Imperial boots.

The actual boot looks just like the photo. But trying it on, I got a different impression. First impression is that the leather on the upper and the sole is soooo very thin. The size seems to be running a bit small, but maybe that will stretch out and be better after they get broken in. And, finally, the finish that they put on the sole is so slippery that when I first put them on and walked across the carpet, it felt like I was walking on ice. The bottoms of the soles look very pretty, but I really do not want to fall on my can before they get scuffed up and start to be less slippery.

I had to return one pair of shoes and it cost me eight teen dollars for shipping. A representative was not very clear on how the process worked. He should of made it very clear to me that the company would send me a return label. He led me to believe that return label was in the shoe Box, that was not the case only a return address was in the box, and I had to pay $18 to return the shoes. I am not a happy camper , but I do love the boots. I have purchased a black brown and gray pair and I will be baying a white pair.

There is a need to stylish boots for men with wide feet. It seems that a larger foot may necessitate a wider width sometimes. The Duke boot is beautiful, but men with high arches need more shaft width to get boot on. Perhaps a double zipper on each boot (preferred) or elastic or pleating to the arch area on the outside of the boot might help.

I love the boots and they are comfortable, they are just broken in, leather on bottom is still clean and Florsheim logo is still untouched, but they have started to squeak, embarrassingly so, to the point that I have stopped wearing them. I do not know how to fix it, I have stored them in cedar shoe trees in hopes that may help, but after four months in storage, they are still noisy.

I bought a pair of the white Duke's in 2013 and have enjoyed them ever since...however my newest purchase of the black version is not as praise worthy. The material is stiffer and not as comfortable as the white pair. Not sure why the change, but I prefer the material that was used on the white Duke boot.

Returned because the boot, although very attractive, did not fit properly.

Don't know, had to return them. They were way too small, like 2 sizes. Normally wear 8 1/2, these would not begin to even go on my feet. Have heard nothing since I mailed them last week.

I am a musician, and Beatle Boots have been and will always be a musicians favorite stage and all around boot. The Giorgio Brutini has a much more stylish boot and true Beatle boot shape IN THE FRONT,ALSO The Heal, but your boot is made better by far. I know you sell many of these but if you had a shape like the Giorgio Brutini as an option with a similar pointy {Not Bicycle Toe} and the true Cuban heal, you will sell thousands more!!

Great looking shoe, but needed to order a half size larger along with the maximum width. Normally buy shoes with a mediem width. Needed to order a triple E width.

I presently wear Hugo 8D and ordered Duke 8E as Hugo is snug due to some swelling at ankles. I was not able to get my foot into the boot and as a result returned them.

I have been buying this shoe for decades, this is the first pair that is so 'too narrow'. Too wide I can deal with, too narrow I can't. Bruce Osterberg

The shoe size is not correct. I take size 10.5 wide, and I had to return the undersized shoe for an 11 wide to fit. I ordered on-line so this increased my costs by a significant percentage and delayed acquisition. Why can't you make your shoes to an appropriate standard size? This is not rocket science.

Florshem Duke - A great looking shoe, although the heel (the rubber bottom of heel) fell off the second day I wore them.

They have redesigned the heel on these boots and they are not comfortable. Instead of having a tapered heel it is a straight heel. Please change it back.

I had this style in a different color but older. New shoe was much wider with a wider ankle- looked clunky instead of slim. Returned it.

The shoes look cute. However I had to get the bottom of the shoes replaced. And they hurt my feet so bad I needed to put cushions in them.

Yes, online the boot have a beautiful cognac color. However, when it arrived in the mail, it was a light burgundy or dark pink. I don't have time to do returns, so I kept the boots. I'm thinking about having them dyed burgundy. I was really disappointed because I like this boot, but hate the color.
