I was looking for shoes that wouldn't aggravate my PFS in my knees but would also help strengthen the muscles. I gave Earth shoes a try. First I bought 'Tranquill,' the sandal, and noticed the difference immediately. I could walk for hours and climb up and down subway steps with *no problem!* Before, my knees would have been swelling and aching. The next obvious step was an Earth athletic shoe, so I chose Rocket in the dark gray/orange. I was able to break them in by walking the Forbidden City and Summer Palace in Beijing, and then the final test was the Great Wall. No pain (other than the expected aches)! Earth makes wonderful shoes, and I hardly want to put anything else on my feet nowadays. Cons: They do rub a little at the Achilles tendon even though I bought a half-size larger than my usual 6. It's nothing too problematic, though, but it would have been with a 6.

Nice boots; little bit too much of a heel to them. Make SURE to order one size larger. If you normally wear a 10 than order a 10 and a half. Safe thing with width. If you wear medium D width order an EE. Thin leather soles; if you wear them a lot you'll probably get a hole. Haven't had a chance to see how the zippers hold up. Overall, I'm satisfied. Felt true to size with above caveats.

Why a 4? I was wearing a pair of the duke boots while I was ordering another pair. And another pair in the closet. But why give 4? If you take it into context with a boot which I believe was one of my best you will understand, this boot A{moreschi)was like part of your body when you wore it. But if not for this I would give it a 10. I have a pair of sountoni which were made in Italy and compared to the Duke (less expensive) Don't know how to spell last shoe. Great service, consideration, and a great boot. I will be back to your store.

Wonderful Boot! Very pleased with my purchase! This boot is as classic in styling as hoped, very authentic. Extremely comfortable! I'm getting nothing but compliments and I'll definitely purchase again in the future. Zappos is quite frankly flawless in their ease of purchase and return, one of the best sites I've ever purchased from. Everyone should try Zappos! I had to return my original purchase for a 1/2 size smaller and the process was effortless!

Classic shoe for hard to fit dad - These were a gift for my dad who wears a 6 EEE. He had somthing very similar if not the same years ago -his only complaint was the heel was high, but the fit was fantastic,truly comfortable and good leather only becomes more comfortable with wear.

Stylish but Not roomy Enough - I am trying to find a dress boot that is roomy enough for my orthotic inserts. While this boot was the closest I got, I still am not able to wear the orthotics. The higher than normal heel takes some getting used to, but the ankle support is excellent. I wear the boot with my tux and suits and the look is very stylish.

A little tight - I have worn Florsheim Boots for many years because of their style and wear. I wear a EEE shoe and this boot is a little tight. I have been wearing them for a couple of weeks and they have "broken in" a bit. They are a little lighter brown than I was expecting, but I like them.

Great looking boot...medium comfort - I purchased two pair of these boots, one in black and one in brown, and in my oppinion they are very stylish looking. They can be worn both for casual or dress occassions. However, one problem I have with these boots is that the leather soles are thin and do not offer enough padding. I solved the problem with padded inserts.

Initially, the shoe felt very tight but after a few days, the shoe felt comfortable. Liked the availability of the shoe in wide sizes and due to an ankle injury, boots or high cut shoes are preferred. Also liked the fast delivery of the products.

Narrow boot - Boot is much more narrow than I anticipated.

Nice Boot, Great Service - This is a really nice looking boot, very comfortable. It's getting really tough to find a nice traditional men's dress boot with a tall upper. I hate those new low-boy fashions. I'd like this boot to be another inch taller, but otherwise it looks really good and wears as good as it looks. The only problem with size is as noted, just a little too long and a little too narrow. But they still wear very comfortably and I will probably buy another pair when I wear these out. As for criticisms I've read concerning leather soles, anyone should expect them to scuff and wear down quicker than other materials.

This boot is the best buy that I have ever made, it looks great and fits a little small on the width size. I would buy again!

Overall nice shoes. The heel was too high for me though and balancing was difficult.

I thought they were wide width and there are not super tight on my husbands feet
