They fit good, they look good and they make me a bit taller which allows me to wear dress and casual pants without having them drag the ground. Without the Dukes I would either have pants that bunch up at the shoe or pants that are high-waters, which any well dressed man would refuse to wear. The black goes with just about everything except shorts.

Comfort ..style...looks

hte boot is comfortable snug but not tight. Looks great with slacks suit and jeans.

My wife bought me a pair of your boots 40 years ago. Always remembered how well they fit and felt. Lost touch with your Company because your store closed down locally here. Got an add for shows in mail recent ly and remembered your company. Looked you up on internet and found you guys are. Still in business. Found my old favorite boots and ordered a pair. They fit great and I'll keep in touch with your company. By the way, I still have my wife and these boots remind me of our dating years. Thanks for staying in business.

I have owned the DUKE style for many years, replacing them with quality new pairs. The price over the years has been very reasonable, quality excellent and dealing with Florsheim is very easy and expedient. Thanks for being there all these years!!!!!!

Too often the products I really like become unavailable. None of the stores that sell Florsheim sell my favorite...the Duke. Every time I need a new pair, I have to order on-line. I live in fear they will one day no longer be produced. Thank you for continuing thus far in manufacturing them.

the product is so good I keep using them for the last 45 years

I do a lot of ballroom dancing and this shoe is perfect for it. It also looks good with casual clothes such as jeans and nice shirt.

I have been wearing the Duke style boot for close to forty years! I wore them all throughout my professional career in the business world and have always been very satisfied with their appearance and durability. My daughter is getting married this October so I recently bought a pair of boots online. Over the years, my foot must have become wider as the pair that I ordered initially did not fit. I returned them using the mailing label that was enclosed and within about a week I had received another pair which was exactly the right size and fit perfectly. I am very happy with the new boots and with the service that was provided by Florsheim.

The only footwear that I own other than athletic wear. Have never worn any other shoe/boot. Get complements all the time about my footwear and how great they look.

OWNED A PAIR IN THE 70'S OR 80'S WAS GOOD BACK THEN DECIDED TO TRY AGAIN.

These were my first pair of Florsheim " Dukes " and I totally love them , always loved the way they looked on other guys and now I love the way they look on me . I just wish Florsheim would bring back the Imperials they look just like the Dukes w/ the double stitching down the toe , but they have a lower heel ( a good thing for guys who don't need the extra height ) and the top rim of the boot opposite the zipper had a "V" cut out . Please Florsheim bring back the classics ..Oh , and I love the leather soles....

I always buy the Duke boot. They make the boot for my foot. The last pair I purchased had the sole separate, which has never happened to me before. I have had many pairs of Duke boots before and am otherwise completely satisfied with them. Hopefully the sole separation was just a one time freak of nature.

I can't find anything negative about this boot. My husband love it and wish he could get other pattern with that same cuban heel and comfort leather. This is his second pair, he has it in a rust color, selling point for him is the cuban heel and comfort.

What can I say after using this boot for over 35 years.

I have been wearing this boot style since the 1980's, don't change a thing they are perfect for everyday comfort and style.

I originally bought these boots in 1985...they wore beautifully for all these years. Last month the inside lining started to fray and I didn't want to give them up. I went to Florsheim website in hopes of finding something similar, and was astonished to find the same exact boot. Considering these boots lasted me 29 years, you definitely have a customer for life. By the way, in 1985 I purchased these boots in both brown and black..I am pleased to inform you that the black are still in good shape and are worn often.
