Great boot well worth the price

I love these boots! Over the years I have purchased too many pair to count! Black, brown and white.

I bought these in white for my adult son. He LOVES them. he has gotten more compliments on these boots than on any other he has worn. I do wish you offered a couple more colors.

I bought these shoes in black for my wedding. They look amazing with my turquoise and black tux.

I have been wearing the Duke boot for over for over 50 Yrs. A great boot for all occasions. Don't change a thing. !!! I now have 3 Pairs.

My husband needed a new pair of boots and for years he's been buying the cheepo brands, which didn't last any amount of time at all. I kept telling him to look at Florsheim as it was the brand my dad swore by. I finally surprised him with these boots for his birthday 3 days ago and he loved them. They were comfortable right out of the box. They can be worn with jeans, for work or special occasions as they have a slight shine to them as opposed to a matte finish. I bought him a size wider than he normally wears only because these looked a bit tapered in style as opposed to square and boxy and he said they fit perfectly. I think he'll be buying Florsheim from now on!

Great boot for dress and casual wear

I love this style

I have been a loyal Florsheim boot wearer for nearly 30 years. I started wearing them in my early 20s and now that I'm almost 50, I won't be stopping anytime soon! I own the following Florsheim boots all in black leather: Stuart, Mura, Chatman, Duke, Hugo, Munich. I rotate through them throughout the week and they have all served me well over the years. My black Duke boots were so comfortable that I decided to do something different this year and try them in "Gold" which is what we boot loyalists call this color. What I like about these boots are the zipper which makes them easy to put on and take off especially at the airport. The shafts of the boot is high enough to keep your feet warm but not the slightest bit hot. Also the shafts are snug enough to remind you that you've got boots on (which I appreciate) but not tight at all. They won't catch the bottom of your dress slacks or jeans due to the design of the shafts. The bicycle toe is a nice design that is distinctively Florsheim. The Cuban heel height is slightly higher than my other boots and thats the secret that keeps your feet comfortable all day. In fact I've worn them to work for 16 hours several times and my feet were not tired at all. They were fine even after walking quite a bit one day. Without a doubt, the Duke is a macho looking boot and the guys will notice them so get ready be complimented on your choice of footwear. Be sure to order a half size larger than you normally would. I usually wear a 10.5 and an 11 fit's me just fine. I am thinking I will need to get another pair in black in reserve so that I will have this style available in both colors at all times. Last of all, the black pair that I own have been in use for 5+ years now. Just add a protective sole and plastic taps to the toe and heel and I am sure one pair will last you a good ten years. Great job Florsheim! Don't ever stop manufacturing this boot! Please consider making them in the USA again.

I wish the shoes had a wider with selection

I'm a musician and I wear these boots in both cognac and black for stage performance and casual wear with boot cut jeans. The black pair are also my tuxedo shoes, very flexible. The bicycle toe shape corresponds to the natural foot, comfortable. Large wide heels provide a stable platform. The leather soles breathe well, important for me. In street shoes I usually wear size 11, but found an 11 in these boots was too short. I checked with a shoe sizer and found both my feet are a bit over size 11 now, and 11.5 was better for these boots.

I got two pairs for my husband. Arrived on time and they were beautiful.

Great for dressing up.

I am a professional and the Duke is stylish and helps to create the image I desire.

We tried on a different boot from the same company at the store to judge the size but found that this boot still required a different size so Be prepared to return and exchange for proper size.

I purchased these boots to replace a pair I had purchased several years back. The soles and heels as well as the leather around the foot and heel were in excellent condition. But the top area, around the ankle and upward was tearing from the material underneath. I could not get anyone to offer a replacement. And, I decided to buy a new pair and through the others away. For me, Florsheim, for me, is one of my favorite manufacturer.

The first pair that came had a missing foot liner. I called and the lady said to return the pair and she would overnight a new pair. Sure enough the next day my new pair came in. Great customer service and great boots.

Not a beginner, been wearing florsheim since I was 16yrs old, love the shoes, style, elegance, durability, and fit very well. (also takes a good shine)

I have been buying "Duke" since you had a store in Paramus NewJerse which i think ,closed about 20 years ago

Comfortable, stylish and look good with jeans or dress slacks.

I had to force my foot in the shoe at the beginning, Were it for a while and it will slide in easy.! Looks great, feels great. I recommend it !

I only wish you had these Dukes in Brown & Blue.
