We are going on a cruise and looking for a dressy type boot without the tallness of a Western style. I wear a pair of hiking socks, so they are a perfect fit and very comfortable to walk in. The quality and price I think was good.

Great fit and comfort right from the first - My husband has short wide feet, with a high instep... he is really hard to fit. These boots are awesome! I ordered the extra wide and they were perfect. The look of them is wonderful. I highly recommend them.

Very good looking, classy boot. Best for people with thinner feet, as it is narrow. The boot is all leather, including the lining and sole which makes it worth the extra money.

Sharp looking shoe. Originally I ordered the boot for my husband in the size he usually buys. I had to send it back for a full size larger, so it tends to run smaller. Return shipping was a snap, the new boots arrived super fast.

Mexican Big Foot Club Ticked Off - I only wish to suggest that Florsheim make the "Duke" avalable in a 5E (EEEEE) width. The real men with large feet cant seem to fit into anything that's on the market today and that includes the "Duke" which was a favorite when I was young and my feet were smaller or the standard for measuring feet was larger. Or how about making the boot to USA Sizes again instead of the small Far East standard you have moved too. I would Buy at least 5-6 pair at twice the price if they were avalable in 5E!

Just because you order a size wide, does not mean they make the ankle any larger! The shoe fit fine, but I could not zip the boot completely because the ankle was too tight. This was a really nice shoe. The leather was fabulous. If you have thin legs, then this shoe would be a very handsome addition to your wardrobe.

These boots fit very well all around. Good quality construction. A bit shiny on the finish but that'll be good for dress wear. I normally wear an 11C but the 11D fits fine.

Very good looking on; seriously dressy-casual with more emphasis on "dressy". Nice shine on a subtle pebble texture. Definitely black in color. Agree with previous reviewer who said "...they 'make your feet look small"; -- a good thing, in my humble opinion. Appear to be well made. Size 9D tight fitting through the ankle area (by intention), which could be a problem if you are thick there. A bit stiff when new, but no real break-in required. Well-balanced heel-to-toe with superior arch support, easy to walk in. Perfect with boot-cut jeans or sport slacks; okay for suits if you live in an area of the country where this is stylin'.

Purchased a set of Florsheim Duke boots at a very reasonable price. Boots arrived in two days. I would highly recommend Zappos, this company to anyone. Great service, great prices.

These are some fly boots! I love them. They can be worn with jeans, but are especially deadly with a suit or other dress clothes. They are very good looking, but are not the most comfortable shoe, and if you love to dance good luck with this shoe! I did dance in them, but I couldn't really go in like I am accustomed too. The heel is high too, which takes some time getting use to if you are man. Nevertheless, I am in love with these boots!

This is my second pair of these boots, and I am very pleased with the style and quality of this product. The leather is always shiny and is of a very high quality. These boots look great with jeans, or dressed up. And of course it's always great to get them the next day from Zappos!

The shoe has a nice shine and are comfortable. I have also noticed that the boot makes you look considerably taller which adds to my confidence. The only "problem" with these boots is that it makes your feet look "tiny". If this is not a big deal for you, then I highly recommend them.

This boot is just beautiful and well worth the money paid, for a wide width boot. Fits true to size and is very classy but casual.

Purchased the Florsheim Duke shoe on line. Had never done this before. Received in only a couple of days and they were terrific. Very good fit and well made. Very pleased with the service.

This is the only dress boot that I have worn for the past 30 years. I love it. I hope they never discontinue the style.

This is a great looking boot. It looks good with just about any style of pants. I would suggest, however, that you order one size wider.

Florsheim Duke is well worth the cost - I ordered a 9.5 and the widest size available. I normally wear an 8.5D shoe. The boots fit perfectly.

Beatles Dress Boots: I came of age in the 1960's.The Florsheim's Duke dress boots reminds me of the same high heeled stage apparel boots The Beatles wore. Aside from the nostalgia aspect, these are great boots! Form and functionality. I wear them with jeans or in a designer suit. Very comfortable in my size right out of the box. I'd buy another pair.
