I did not reorder UGG boots when it came time to replace them.
My feet tend toward cold winter or summer and these boots were extremely comfortable for two years of indoor wear during which I would have given them 4 stars (5 if not for made in China i/o Australia). Then the insole wore out and I was shocked and angered to learn that while many UGG boots have replaceable insoles, these boots do not. I took a chance on the UGG replacement insoles and forced them into the boot. The fit was tight and uncomfortable for a while but I managed to get another year out of them before I could no longer avoid replacing them.
I don't mind paying up for excellent quality but the facts that a) these boots are made in China and b) the insoles are not replaceable sent me looking for alternatives. I ended up ordering very similar boots, with replaceable insoles, from New Zealand.
I'd also recommend:

I have an old pair just like these and LIVE them still, but they are a different planet of quality. I bought these new ones for my daughter-in-law and I would never give them to my worst enemy. Clearly slapdash cheap labor, construction, and the slimmest, poorest fakest quality materials inside and out.

Felt hot and synthetic, also ran small. Go for Australian made UGGS instead!

The last pair of uggs I purchased before my currant pair I have recently purchased in 2023 was in 2014, nearly ten years ago the uggs I bought then in '14 were very high quality and extremely durable so I had them for many years without needing to have them replaced. However their time did come and I was so happy with them that I bought another pair to replace them. The uggs of today are very noticeably of lesser quality than before, they feel thin and unstructured and honestly very cheap. I don't expect these will last much longer than a year or two. The quality has obviously gone down the toilet in recent years and it's a shame because they used to be a very good brand.

Cheap quality. These were the first Uggs I’ve tried, but I know they’ve been around for a while and are a big name. These were just so cheap—thin, flimsy, cheap materials, didn’t have any substance to them. They felt like cheap $30 Walmart shoes, not like $170 boots.

I bought these boots for my husband for Christmas. Less than two months the back of the boot ripped at the seam(The website won't let me upload the pictures of the rip). I've bought multiple boots within the last 10 years and never had this issue.

Love the early made Ugg boots. Whoever is manufacturing these is missing the boat.

I don't know who sizes the boots but they are too small and not true to size. I couldn't get my foot past the opening!

I walked in our lawn, to let the dog out, in less than 1/4 inch of show, and my toes were cold and wet, they leaked. warrantee care / comm. w/ company has not worked thus far. Every step of the way I was referred to "see our website" "see faq"

Cannot believe how small and narrow Ugg’s have become. I wear a EUR 40 in a boot or shearling lined shoe and I have a C width. So after returning the women’s 9 decided to go for a men’s 7. Still too short and narrow. Just reordered in a men’s 8 but they haven’t arrived yet. Feel like Goldilocks.

Bits of wool fiber glued to polyester backing. Not what we've purchased in the past. Not what we were expecting, NOT worth the premium price tag.

This boot is garbage not the sheepskin shearling boot of yesteryear. This boot has bits of fleece glued to polyester backing NOT shearling wool sheepskin.

My husband wears a true 10 and was totally unable to get his foot inside a Men’s 10. Had to wait 8 months for Ugg season to return to order a size 11 which fit perfectly.

These were very comfortable and warm. However, to use these outside in winter conditions risked bodily harm. They are extremely unstable and with soles that give zero traction

This was the 3rd and last pair of "Ugg Australia" boots I will ever buy. The quality is so bad! I wear these for about 20 minutes a day to walk my dog on the beach every morning. Within about 3 months of purchase, both boots had holes in the front with my big toe sticking out. (They were treated with the protective spray, not worn in the rain, etc.) I continued to wear them despite the holes since I'm like that, and within 9 months, literally, they have fallen apart. The hole on one boot has extended 2/3 towards the back of the boot -- basically the whole side is ripped open -- so I cannot wear them anymore. I just think the quality on these has taken a huge dive. I have now ordered a pair of Uggs (Aussie/Kiwi sheepskin boots) made by Canterbury Sheepskin through NZ Nature's website, and I have my hopes up that the made in NZ quality will be much better. These "official" Uggs are actually made by an American-owned company in China, and I am not impressed with the poor quality.

What has happened to the quality of UGGS? I bought these exactly a year ago for a Xmas present and the tops of both boots have a hole completely through in the big toe area. They were not heavily worn, in fact the bottoms still look new.
