I love my uggs!!
So, I bought these for my mom. She is 82. I thought she would love them, especially since she is always cold. "Not her style, but she would try." She did not like the fit. Her heels were riding up in the back when she walked. Then she told me they were truly UGGly.....and were made for "Santa Claus"......not her!!
PS....So I returned them : (

I tried these boots on in a store and they were so comfy but also so expensive. Size down one size and they are perfect. I got them for Christmas and wore them around some, but unfortunately I found them to be really hot and itchy and they gave me a rash if I wore them for too long, even if I wore them with tall socks. I can't wear wool either, so I guess it's the same idea. Very disappointed :( Do not buy these if you have sensitive skin and can't wear wool.

We are returning the boots. I gave Uggs to my daughter for Christmas, She had gotten Uggs two years ago that were much better made. These were disappointing, as they cost a lot of money but were not well made. The filling inside the boots comes out and the boot itself is stiffer than her other boot was she she got it.
I don't know whether we will buy more Uggs. Maybe the company has gotten so popular that they have forgotten how to keep the quality high.

I returned a pair of UGGs for a quality issue. When the replacement came I was very disappointed. I noticed that they are now [*]. I also noticed that there is not as much fur inside than what all my other pairs of UGGs have. I went into an UGG retailer to see if I just got a defective pair, but all the UGGs in the store had a noticeably smaller amount of fur. With the decreased amount of fur I also noticed that they don't fit my foot as well they are a tad too big with my heel popping up when I walk. I have never had a problem with UGG before. I know that they always stand by their products. I am just very disappointed in the decreased quality.

I used my UGG'S the other day and i thought that they were to stiff. They also bend and get creases really easy. I have to say they do make outfits look a lot cuter then what they would be.

I know these are made in China. I owned UGGs back when they were still made in Australia. The quality difference is like night and day. These current UGGs wear out within a few weeks of use. The sheepskin inside rubs on the heel and toe and creates blisters and hotspots that irritate the skin. It is so disappointing, because they are expensive. They could be made using quality materials and with workers who care about the product, but UGG must only care about the bottom-dollar.

I have had Uggs before. they lasted me a few years until my dog chewed through them. i loved them!! now since the new uggs have been made, they have worn out too quickly, and aren't even made in the classic australia anymore. there made in china. i got a pair of these uggs in the sand color for christmas and i hate them. they even use alot less fur on the inside then they did before. Uggs really downsized on their products.

I was so excited when I received my uggs, that was until I put my foot in to try it on and along the seam it ripped about 2 inches. I was very bummed out.

while they are suuper cute and warm, i bought my pair of chestnut classic short uggs in july and i've only worn them for 4 months and already there is a rip on the side. defect shows that the quality of ugg boots are absolutely horrible...first pair of uggs and most likely my last...

My third pair of Uggs is black. They do not seem as sturdy as my tan or grey Uggs. The black wool is softer, thinner, and the dye comes off on my feet. I have to wear socks, which totally de-"feets" the purpose.

These are the second pair of Uggs I have purchased. I bought the first pair because they were high quality and were made in Australia or New Zealand. I was disappointed to read label on new pair, made in China. I ordered Online so was unable to really know that quality was not same.[...]

I have worn Ugg boots since my first trip to Perth in 1984... love the country, love the women and love the boots. My current pair needed replaced so Santa brought me a pair for Christmas. Made in China? You bet! The look, feel and comfort are gone... right down to the harder/stiffer sole!
For those of you "youngsters" climbing onboard now thinking Uggs are great... you should have had a pair before production went to China... they WERE awesome!!!Now I have to find something else to put on my feet... bummed...

I have a few pairs of Uggs, and I bought a pair of these and a pair of fuggs (fake Uggs) to compare when I was 12. I am actually being honest when I tell you that the Fuggs were the ones I preferred. They lasted a lot longer than the Uggs and were much more comfortable. The fuggs adjusted quickly to my foot size and width (size 12 women US, which they don't sell here, so I bought size 11 Uggs and Fuggs) The stitching came out on BOTH, but the regular Ugg stitching came out first.

I have bought UGGS since I was 14 years old and have always loved them. A couple weeks ago I bought the Classic UGG boots and was totally disappointed in the quality compared to a few years back. The quality was so bad my husband asked if they were real suede and also the bottom of the shoe is made cheaper as well. They are very light feeling when you pick them up and just overall they were made cheap compared to a few years ago. I will have to say my daughters Bearpaw boots are much better quality. UGG boots are nice looking boots but for the price should be better quality!

When i bought my first pair of uggs many years ago now they were still made in Australia and lasted forever. I bought a new pair recently and read the tag only to see "made in China" and noticed the quality was a lot cheaper and they fell apart within months. These boots are not what they used to be, unfortunately.

I love uggs and have had many pairs of the tasman clogs. I bought the classic boot last year and had holes in the front of the boot within months, and I didn't even wear them everyday. I was very disappointed because they were very warm and comfortable but did not find them to be very durable. I will buy another pair of clogs because the material seems much thicker and more durable, but won't ever buy another boot.

I love these but they won't last more than a season. Quality should be much better for the substantial price increase. I've ordered at least 1 pair a year for the past 5 years, but I won't spend [$] for boots that are disposable. Uggs needs to make the insoles replaceable on these to make them worth the inflated price. Even at $100 I thought they should be better quality, but for [$], forget about it.

Awesome -
I love my Uggs, the only problem would be that when I looked on the Ugg website it tells you to get one size lower than your own if you are in between sizes, Zappos.com says to get one size above, so I ordered one size above and they are a little big. But all in all I love them, they are the most comfortable shoes ever, and they keep my feet dry in any condition, even without wearing socks.
I'd also recommend:

Incredibly bad, and blatantly sexist. For a higher price, men get plush lining" that basically feels like cut up plastic bottles mixed with some fiber and a tiny bit of wool. Women still get the proper sheepskin for less. As an additional thank you, mine also keep dying my feet completely black because the stupid fabric doesn't even hold the color. I even get blisters from these shoes because there is no structure to the lining, and the heel is terribly cushioned. I regret every single penny spent on these, I wish I had noticed in time to send them back. Stay away at all costs.

I was trying to replace my mom’s old Uggs for her, but the new ones are really cheap quality now. We ended up trying 2 pairs of women’s in different colors thinking maybe the dyed leather was the culprit, but it wasn’t. We also tried a pair of men’s to see if it was any better and it wasn’t. 3 pairs later, it was clearly the new standard for Uggs. The lining is a blend of Sherpa and synthetic and boy oh boy can you tell! It feels so fake compared to the old Uggs. The leather is also much thinner across the toe. My mom tried them on and immediately felt the difference. I tried them on and sure enough, that leather was THIN and actually felt weak. I’d seen other reviews where people’s leather had split open across the toe but figured it was a fluke - after trying them on, it’s clearly because they’re being made with very thin leather now. Such a bummer. We’re going to seek out a smaller brand that makes something similar with genuine Sherpa lining.

I have owned these in size 11 which slipped on my feet with ease. I can barely! pull these on, and afterwards they are squeezing my feet so severely I cannot wear them. They have to be returned, tell me how.
Thank you.
