WAAAAAY BIG - This shoe is huge in the 15W size--and that's with an orthotic, too (and it squeaks awfully). I was looking for a replacement for my old Dexters I'll keep them because I'm an optimist.

Very disappointed. After one month I hit the shoe on a street curb. Under the scraped area is what looks like some sort of synthetic upper (the description says "genuine leather"). Since it is apparently not completely all leather, the scuff cannot be polished back to 'normal'. It looks like a bit of carpet under a plastic "leather-like" finish. In addition, after 6 months part of this fake leather covering began to bubble and peel on the other shoe (This said, I am a longtime Zappos customer and happy with my other shoes. I will just have to avoid Deer Stags.).

Comfortable But Lousy Wear - The shoes were comfortable and held a good shine. But the rubber soles cracked in different places after only a couple of months of wear. This was long before the heels started showing typical signs of wear. Very disappointing.

Shoes did not last a year. The soles cracked on the shoe within 10 months. Large hole on side from defective sole. I only wear them at most once a week for dress and they are not wearing well. The heel on the shoe cracked in half and the shoes are unwearable. Very poor quality. Not a good experience.

My husband loves these shoes. He read about them in a magazine and decided to try them. He said they are the most comfortable work shoe with steel toes he has ever had.

These are very nice shoes for the price. My son wore these to his sister's wedding and looked very handsome in his outfit.

Amazing shipping as always. But the are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. The wide is just perfect for my feet. And in general the shoe has a light but supportive feel. I will buy this item again. Love my Zappos!

Very nice shoes; the width isn't something that we have seen much of in local retail and seem to be the correct width for my husband. Style and materials are good. These were a great buy!

Very comfortable shoe. I wore them to a wedding this weekend and I felt like I was wearing a pair of athletic shoes, not dress shoes. Can't beat the price and they have a great classic look.

Held up very well..... Airline approved shoes. They took a pounding at work and always looked fine. No issues with comfort or break in time either. Ready to go from day one. A good value and decent wearability. Re-purchasing same again.

Great buy, reviewer comments helped - This is a great shoe. I've worn wingtips for years and this is the best quality for the lowest price ever. Reviewer notice about the size being a full size larger than marked was right on. I first ordered the shoe in my regular size and returned it for a size smaller. The return process was easy. Zappos has the best customer service I have encountered in online shopping.

These shoes are the most comfortable for my husband...especially when you have to fit a size 15 4E! I am so glad I found this site!

Shoes You Feel Born To - Some feet are finicky and some are easy. Mine are very fussy, and so I've worn most shoes in my life with pain--great when they were new, less when they finally "broke in." Undoubtedly, because of bad karma, I discovered Deer Stags late in life. Unlucky but not stupid, I've never worn any other kind of shoe. The black wingtips that I bought at Zappos.com are appropriate for work so I have not trouble wearing them there. The shoes, though 12's instead of my normal 11 1/2's (Zappos was out of 11 1/2's) fit as fine as I would have hoped. The price was normal for Deer Stags and the delivery was as fast as if Mercury had brought them on his very own feet. In all my heart is happy and my feet are at ease.

Very Comfortable - I ordered a 12 W and felt the shoes were a little wider than I expected - however they are very comfortable. The cushioned sole makes wearing these all day no problem. I like the classic look however the shine on the shoes is somewhat lacking from what you typically expect from a wing-tip leather shoe. I'd recommend this shoe if you need a classic business look and comfortable "on-your-feet-all-day" pair of shoes.

Comfortable Dress Shoe - My husband has Flinstone feet - so it's hard to find dress shoes that are wide enough to be comfortable to wear all day. We ordered these shoes just a few days before our wedding. He wore them the whole day of the wedding, never having broken them in, and his feet never hurt! He wears them all the time now, for dress and casual. Amazing.

Excellent experience! Got these shoes for my 17 yr old son because his feet are so big we couldn't find any locally that would fit. He was very happy with them--wore them all day for a school event and said they were very comfortable considering they are dress shoes.

Great Company -- Great Shoe - I already knew of the quality and comfort of these shoes, so I was glad to see that Zappos carried them. Zappos has a terrific and easy website for browsing and for ordering. From the time I placed my order to when I received the shoes, was a short period. Great work Zappos. COMFORT WITH GREAT LOOKS - Great fitting shoe...very comfortable (I’m on my feet 13-14 hours a day) and no need to break in the shoe. Shiny leather...cons are the shoe string is already starting to break and if they made a 13 1/2 size they would fit my feet perfect.

So far, so good. The show feels comfortable and roomy. I like the idea of the arch support system that comes with the shoe.

One of the most comfortable shoes I have worn. The heel cushioning is very springy as you walk.

I purchased this shoe for my husband for comfort and he said that they were not all that comfortable. This shoe also looks very cheap and rubbery. You can tell that the shoe is not real leather. His shoe size is an 11EE and I purchased an 11EEE and they were still too narrow. Buy at your own risk!
