A pretty good balance - I haven't worn many of these types of shoes. I guess it is due to how they are designed. But the RWT is very low profile as a shoe design. This is what a shoe should be to me so I am very happy. It's also very comfortable for my narrow feet. I purchased this shoe based on other reviews and I am not disappointed.

Good - I have ordered 6.5 size but found my foot is smaller than that. So, got one with size 6. My feet is smaller compare to average adult. I could not find shoes any where else. One day I searched 'Small Size Shoes' on search engine and Zappos.com showed up. Overall, I feel very comfortable with this shoes. I never had shoes this much comfortable. Only thing bad is, the shoes does not have shining of new shoes. i.e. new looks fade away very soon.

Not the same fit as the older model - I have 4 pairs of this Rockport (the previous model) with the smooth toe. I love them . This new model has stiching around the toe area. The stiches constrict the area just enough, that it cramps the toes somewhat. I am going up a half a size to see if this helps. If not I will have to return both pairs to Zappos.

Rockport RWT - The comfort shoe - I have been through many pairs of the Rockport RWT style over the past 15 years. It is the best casual shoe I have ever worn. Great comfort and perfect fit for a big guy with wide feet who is very active and on my feet a large part of the day!

Rockport Review - I think I'm really going to love these shoes once I wear them a little more. Right now the heel is a little tight. I am diabetic so a good fit in my shoes is so important. I am wearing these just a little while at a time. I'll let you know how they work out.

Good so far - Shoes are comfortable, fit well, and look good. They are soft on your feet with a light weight to them. So far they are good shoes, only time will tell if they come apart or the sole cracks and splits. I have had them for a couple of weeks and so far so good. I am very pleased so far.

Rockport. I love the these shoes, and have worn this style for 3 years. I have a hard foot to fit with 12-14 and Narrow (A) width, which makes it hard to buy shoes at all. I would prefer a style like this with Gortex in them to make them more waterproof. I thought your price would have been a little bit better considering it was the same as 2 different shoe stores in the area. However you did express mail them to me at no charge, which was a nice surprise to have them in three days. And would have been less, had I not ordered them on a weekend.

One of my favorites - I've been buying Rockports for the past 15 or so years, which have included several pairs of the RWT Classic. For me, its comfort makes up for any lack of pageantry. I just wish it came in a size 12.5 to better match my feet.

Nice shoe, but a bit pricey. Was looking for a comfortable shoe to stand in for an 8 hour day. Needed comfort and cushioning and also be light in weight.I'm over 250 lbs,and diabetic, so my shoes are very important to me.Have worn Rockports before but never this model, and have always found them to be comfortable and somewhat long lasting. Have had these now for approx. 3 weeks and find them to live up to the Rockport tradition of lightweight and comfortable.They're also not a bad looking shoe to be worn as either a casual or work shoe. I have tried Brooks before and found them to be somewhat hard and nowhere near as comfortable as these. I did find these to be a bit pricey, and just hope they last awhile for the money. Have also worn New Balance and liked them also, tho not as comfortable as these. Have tried Easy Spirits, and found them to be very comfortable and much less expensive. If spending almost a hundred dollars for shoes is not a problem, then you will not go wrong w/ these Rockports.Ive worn them over 12 hrs a day standing on my feet and have found that ive never even thought about my feet being uncomfortable. All in all a nice looking comfortable shoe with a great reputation behind it.As far as shoe companies go, Zappos is the absolute best.This is the shoe company all others should be judged by!

nice shoe - Good comfortable shoe, a bit pricey. Otherwise a good shoe.

Rockport RWT Classic - Above average in comfort. Width is on the narrow side. Had to get "wide" when I normally were medium. Look good.

LEE's review - The other rockport's I've owned felt a little more comfortable. I guess the insole felt a little softer.

Happy feet - I like this shoe, I can wear it all day without my feet getting sore. The looks could be updated.

Comfortable shoe. Very good for someone with osteoarthritis.

Order the next larger size - This is a great shoe for those who walk to work. It is comfortable, has good support, and is long-wearing. But it is stylish and is appropriate for the office, without looking like a "walking shoe". The width fit was a bit snug; order the next larger width.

Very nice shoe - I tried a Clark first, but it didn't feel quite right. I switched to this Rockport and I am completely satisfied. Nice fit and quite good looking for casual walking or sporty dress. I have had other Rockports before without any problems.

I ordered these shoes for my husband and he says that the shoe has made a difference in how he feels at the end of the day. His feet are not as tired and neither is he and he works 10-hour shifts walking on concrete all day.

Rockport RWT Classic - The shoe is nothing in comparison to the awesome service and convenience of Zappos.com! We needed a specialized size and received it in just two days.

Rockport's RWT Classic a solid shoe with good looks - I have never been able to wear Rockports because I've never been able to get them wide enought. Zappos had them and they fit perfect. They look great with a pebbled surface leather that takes a shine well. The platform of the shoe is broad and stable which is exactly what I was looking for. The insert did not provide much cushion especially in the ball of the foot. I didn't care as I was replacing it with orthotics that fit perfectly in the shoe. This is a very nice, somewhat dressy shoe that I wear with professional attire.

Rockports are still good! First off, Zappos shipping is fantastic. Ordered Sunday night, on my doorstep Tuesday morning! Great. Having worn Rockports for 24 years, I believe I am a pretty good judge of the shoes. I have only used the RWT Classic model as they were originally recommended to me for use with prescribed orthotics. They have held up very well over the years with daily rotation of a couple of pairs. They used to be even better when made in Spain and other European countries, but alas like everything they now are made in China. I was skeptical but have found the quality control to be good and so far the last three pair are holding up just fine.

Rockport Classic - Attractive appearance and good fit. Roomy enough for diabetic insole. Shoelaces could have been longer. Would purchase again.

Rockport RWT delivers comfort out of box - I recently decided to buy extra wide shoes to accomodate my foot widening with age. I was already a Rockport fan of Dressports. These Rockport RWT shoes delivered the proper width and comfort right out of the box. The shiny brown finish will go with my better dress casual clothes. After days of wear, I am still pleased.

They felt stiff and not very comfortable. My heel was also sleeping out. I was expecting more cushion.

My husband's favorite shoes were discontinued, so he tried different shoes/brands of which these were one. He said the insole didn't have enough padding and the shoes were not that comfortable. They also made his feet look oddly small. He liked the Nunn Bush Cameron much better.
