I bought these shoes based on the reviews and was not disappointed. They were sent overnight (thanks Zappos!) and I immediately put them through a quick break-in, then spent a week hiking the streets of New York city. They were fairly comfortable from the beginning, though a little tight across the instep (I usually wear a 10D). They are stylish enough to wear with khaki's or more casual wear. After wearing them almost daily for several weeks now and putting 5-to-6 miles a day on them, I still don't feel that they are fully broken in, though they get more comfortable every day. Overall good shoes.

I usually wear size 13EE or 12.5EE in running shoes, but ordered a size 12EE in the Rockport World Tour Classic. It turned out to be too large. So, I exchanged it for an 11.5EE. It seems to be a fairly good shoe. I may purchase another pair. Despite ordering a wide size, somehow my little toe has slightly less room than I prefer.

My husband needed a comfortable pair of shoes (that passed muster with me) for a trip to CA. He is hard to fit but these shoes were perfect for the varied activities and terrains we covered.

These are the shoes that I wear to work every day. No problem with these.

These feel a tiny bit smaller than the previous pair that I purchased from a department store, but they stretch to fit your foot, so that's okay. Overall, I'm very happy camper! Thanks Zappos!

I was looking to replace an older pair of Rockport Pro Walkers. This style is a close but not exact match to the shoe I was replacing. It is a little more dressy than the Pro Walker. I was pleased with the style, fit, and comfort. The construction quality of this shoe may be slightly below the older Pro Walker, but it is still a solid shoe. Still a fan of Rockport shoes.

Zappos, wow, easy to work with and deliver as promised. I am not a shopper type person so Zappos is perfect for me. I know what I want and generally what size. I have only purchased shoes as I have large narrow feet and it is great as most stores do not carry my size or only have it in wide widths. Kudos to Zappos!

I had the following considerations for a shoe: a well-padded tongue, because I have a bone spur there, appropriate width, so that I don't have to tie the laces tightly across the bone spur, versatile style, good arch support, roomy toe box. The Rockport World Tour Classic, 10.5 narrow, evaluated by these criteria: The tongue is well-padded, like a tennis shoe, and does not aggravate my bone spur. The narrow width fits my B-width foot well. I do not have to pull the laces tight in order for the shoe to fit securely, as I do with most other shoes. The style is as good as it gets in a shoe with a padded upper. They look too dressy to pair with shorts, but not dressy enough to pair with a nice suit. They do go well with everything from jeans to khakis and a blazer. These shoes don't sufficiently support my arch. Also, the provided insole is paper thin. I solved this problem (and in the process made the shoes more comfortable) with an Aetrex over-the-counter orthotic insert. The one area where these shoes aren't as comfortable as I might like is the size of the toe box. I like to feel like my toes have plenty of room from side to side, and while there is enough room in these shoes and my toes aren't squished, I also can't spread my toes out at all within the shoe. The caveat for other readers is that this observation might just reflect the narrower width of the shoe, and the fact that I'm used to wearing wider shoes.

I just bought my second pair of these shoes after my first one wore out. They're comfortable, they stand up to elements pretty well, and they look good in a variety of settings. I like them.

Very comfortable shoes. Lots of padding. My feet swell a lot so I’m very particular. These shoes worked for me.

Shoe was true to size, something we seldom see any more. Comfortable right out of the box. I would however, want a little more sole under the ball of the foot.

This is the second pair of these shoes I have owned and the reason is they are just plain comfortable to walk in all day! A great shoe for the office or just walking around.

The most comfortable shoes ever - This is a great shoe for those with any kind of foot problem. I have a very wide foot and was able to get an EEEE. The styling is average but looks OK with casual wear. I would highly recommend this shoe.

Pleasantly surprised! These 9.5 4E's felt a bit snug initially but after just a few minutes I knew that I'd be keeping them because they stretched just right. They seem to fit well after a full day at work and time will tell how comfortable they are on a daily basis, but for now, I am pleasantly surprised that I finally found a pair of casual shoes that fit my big waffle feet. I wish they had just a bit more cushion to them - they'd get a 5 for comfort if they had a softer interior.

Very comfortable - I have plantar fasciitis so I had to stop wearing those flat bottom leather dress shoes. These Rockports are not as dressy, but still look nice, and they are very comfortable, with some arch support.

Comfortable, but slippery - I have several pairs of the world tour in about 4 different colors. Unfortunately they are not the kind of shoe to wear when the weather gets snowy or if there is ice. You will end up on your backside in either of these 2 conditions, but other than that, these are an excellent walking shoe. I would highly recommend them to anyone who has a flattened arch, recent foot surgery, or just wants a good walker.

Nice shoe - Best shoe available if you need to be a little dressy...a good running or tennis shoe; still provides better comfort and support.

Rockport World Tour Classic - Well-made shoe. Seems very durable with no obvious signs of wear after about three weeks of use. Contrary to most of the reviews on this site, I found arch support only average. I immediately swapped the insoles out for my orthotics. In the shoe's defense, it is extremely difficult for me to find a perfect fitting shoe. Sizing with the Rockport brand continues to be a roll of the dice. Thanks to Rockport, I'm not even sure what size my feet are anymore.

Excellent shoe - Excellent shoe, comfortable, lightweight. I would have preferred a better sole trend on walking shoe, gardens, castle walks, etc. Gets slippery.

Well made and comfortable - These Rockports like others that I have bought are well made and comfortable. They are not the most stylish, but that is within the genre, which is usually ugly, these are nice looking. Tony

Dual Purpose - Am taking a trip where space is at a premium and will be using the shoes for daytime and evening wear. They fit the bill very nicely and, as a Rockport, feel good.
