Like the show a lot, but it looks a little more "old fogey" than it did on line. Probably should have picked a different style.

Way to heavy but good shoe

I ordered these to replace my Sears WonderLites for work, which lasted a good four years before they started coming out of the soles. The WonderLites were basically a knock-off of these exact Rockports, but they felt more comfortable after they broke out of the soles. Anyway... I wear 4E width, and I'm picky: American-made New Balance fit, but imports (even in the exact same style) do not. That being said, these run narrow. They will likely break in just fine, just as the WonderLites did. Also, they aren't nearly as cushioned as I expected. That might be a result of running narrow, but they do feel hard. Hopefully that will also break in just fine, and maybe they won't be quite as hot as the memory foam of the WonderLites. Anyway, the Rockport World Tour Tour Classics are exactly what I was looking for in style. Perhaps a little pricey, but if they last 3-4 years they'll be worth it. If not, I'll be updating this review promptly.

Comfortable but not very attractive. Good if you need a slightly more dressed up look than a sneaker but with the comfort of a sneaker.

These are comfortable but waaaay too narrow, as others have noted. I wear 4E and these feel like a normal-width shoe. I can't even guess what width I'd have to order to get a normal 4E. I'm going to keep them since I've already worn them around outside, but next time I will order a wider version. The opening is very snug around my ankle which I like in a walking shoe, but it also makes it a little difficult to put the shoe on. However, once it's on, it is ON and not going anywhere. The top of the tongue is curved in an unusual (yet comfortable) way, but I didn't find it as low as others complained about. I also had no issues with the length of the laces. Really the width is the only sizing / fitment issue. Walking comfort is my goal for an upcoming ten day trip to NYC. I actually thought they were a bit ugly, but I've actually gotten several compliments on them.

I am only giving these shoes four stars because my husband has only worn them once. However, he has very narrow feet and he said that they felt the best of all the 6 pairs of shoes that I ordered for him. He thought that they were so good that he asked me to buy them in black and brown. We are not particularly fond of the sole but decided to keep them for the comfort factor.

I bought this shoe as 10XW (4E). I have this exact shoe that is 10'ish years old that I still wear. I know, its worn well. However, the older shoe is a 10 Wide but is actually wider than the new XW shoe. The new shoe does not fit my admittedly wide foot. Its hard for me to believe its really a 4E (XW).

These shoes are really nice, but take a little breaking in. The tops were very stiff and hurt my ankles the first few days. I waterproofed the suede and they have been holding up very well. The soles are a little hard on my feet, but that is more my feet, I think. Yet, I wore them to work a trade show the last two days and my feet weren't killing me at the end of the day like normal. That's a good sign.

A very good looking and comfortable shoe. I wish it were a bit lighter in mass and I had to insert additional supports to raise my foot a bit higher to avoid the side of the shoe rubbing against my shinbone.

Overall, this is a pretty great shoe. The style is unbeatable - goes great with casual or dress - and durability has been good so far. However, comfort is somewhat lackluster, and width is just slightly less than my other shoes of the same width. But, with some decent insole orthotics, this shoe just became my go-to pair for work and for a casual but nice night out.

This shoe is great, it feels great, but in my personal opinion, the only bad thing about this shoe is that it doesn't look great if you're into fashion more than function. If you were in a lifestyle of walking, then this shoe is meant for you. But I'm young and wearing this shoe makes me seem old, not in a good way.

These shoes look great and feel great. I do a lot of standing when I am wearing these so comfort is important, and these shoes deliver on all fronts. Fit is true to size.
