Been wearing Rockports World Tour Classic 11.5-N for years the length and width perfect. Something has changed narrows are tight length is shorter quality not the same I had to order four pairs before I had one that would fit properly.

This is my 5th Rockport shoe and my first non Prowalker. The previous shoes were comfortable as soon as a wore them the first time. This was much stiffer and less comfortable and, although the same size, it fit a bit tighter than previous pairs.

This shoe lacks adequate arch support and there is too little cushioning on the sole. These are seriously shortcomings for a "walking" shoe. To make them comfortable, the factory insole has to be removed and a better one purchased and installed.

I suppose the best statement to judge a pair of shoes would be "would you buy them again?" Sadly, although a really wanted to like these shoes, that answer is "No." Like the name of the shoe implies, I bought these for traveling. I wanted something that would look civilized in town, but that could handle a full day of walking in the country. And, when I travel (this last time for 4 weeks in Europe) I only take one pair of shoes. So, in a sense, these did not let me down. We usually walk 5 to 8 miles a day, through all kinds of conditions and weather, so finding a shoe that could fill all my requirements was challenging (in fact, I found very few). The surprising thing about these is that they took a very long time to breakin. Even now after owning them for 8 months (and using them for my daily walks of 5 miles) I still can't say that they are very comfortable. And the soles, for as thick as they are, still allow me to feel every sharp pebble on the path. Granted, they are affordably priced (most other shoes I have owned for this purpose being twice the price), and I'm not disappointed, just not enthusiastic. I've owned Rockport walking shoes years ago, but these were just not the same! As a side note, since I have a B/C width foot, I originally ordered the narrows... hard to send the back... they were way too narrow!

I have worn out probably 20+ pairs of World Tour Men's Classic walkers. They are the most comfortable everyday shoe on the market. However the last 4 pair have been stiff leather, tighter than before, and less comfortable. I have had to increase my shoe size by half and go from wide to extra wide. Plus I just bought a good pair of shoe stretchers as they are still not comfortable.

The shoe is well made, but it is heavy. There is no give. If you are in your twenties and working in a factory these may be a decent fit. The most important thing to do with any purchase from zappos is to throw out the insole. They are cheap and very uncomfortable. Buy Dr. Scholls on Amazon for $20 dollars. The added expense will accomplish two things. It will save you the trouble of sending in returns because the shoes do not feel right and it will help save your feet from pain.

So called "extra wide" shoe is way too narrow. I ordered 4E size and they felt just like the normal width shoe.

Sizing is smaller than marked. I where a 9 1/2 in Keen products and the recommended fitting came up as a 9 1/2 on this shoe. It was way too small for my foot, maybe 1/2 to a whole size smaller. I've owned Rockports in the past and recall liking them, I think I may just need to step up in size.

These were to replace the identical shoes which gave great service for many years. They're marked the same size but are tight on top..not enough shoelaces left to tie a bow. I'm keeping them but am puzzled.

I purchased 3 pair of these shoes. The first 2 were made in Vietnam and fit perfectly. The 3rd pair was made in India and is 1/2 size smaller and too narrow.

The toe box on these is smaller than in the past and the leather does not seem as supple. Rockport really dropped the ball when they redesigned these. I used to be able to wear these and now I can't.

We have purchased this shoe in the past that were made in Vietnam. They were true to size. The new pair are made in India and the M (D) width felt too narrow. After reordering and XW (4E), the sole measured within 1/8 inch of the same width. There should be a difference of 11/16 inch in width. It appears that the same production line used for all widths.

This is my 3rd pair and will be my last. Even with getting a larger size makes then too tight. Impossible to get on and laces are too short. Would not recommend purchasing on line. need to be fit in a store.

Bought these on line about a week ago, and they don't seem as roomy in the toe box with my orthotics in as Rockports usually are, even though they're wide width. Still hoping that they'll get more comfortable once they're broken in. Next time, I'll probably buy in store, so that I can try them on.

These Rockports have changed a bit over the years. A 9W used to be perfect, but these were a little tight. I will send them back and try again.

Look like a nice shoe, but the oddest Rockport fit I’ve ever had- and Rockport is my go-to brand. Usually, without fail I’m an 11 in Rockports, took these out of the box and they felt like Cruel Shoes (Steve Martin reference). On their way back for a bigger size.

I've been wearing these for decades. However, the most recent purchase had to be returned/replaced due to incorrect sizing. I ordered 10 EW. Those I received were marked that size BUT the soles measured 1/4" less in all directions than my current shoes and exactly the same as some 9-1/2's I should have returned 10 years ago. So I've asked for 10-1/2's. We will see. . . In the past I had noticed that there was a size difference between the glossy and the buck finished shoes. This should not be the case. My wish list is that they would offer factory insoles for these shoes. The originals wear out long before the shoes and nobody's replacement insoles fit correctly and provide the same support.

I'm just not a fan. I read the reviews and thought I would give them a try. I've had them a year now and still don't really like them. The soles are very stiff!

I have been wearing the Pro Walker for years and decided to try this shoe for a change, plus I like the color (which is not available in the Pro Walker). I bought the shoe in my usual size (11W), which was the correct size except that there was insufficient room to accommodate my custom orthotics. They were so tight, I could not tie the laces. The length and width seemed to be okey, just not enough vertical room inside the shoe. I had to return the shoes and exchange them for my Pro Walkers.
