MX608 - I am finding the MX608 a great shoe for walking and working out at the local gym. The sizing gives plenty of room with a heavy athletic sock. The arch support fits like a glove and is very comfortable. I tend to order a half-size larger for additional room for heavy socks, and this seems to work well with the shoe. I have had several positive comments on the looks of the shoe since I first purchased them. They have a good fit and I would recommend these shoes for people involved in many different types of athletic activity.

Great all around athletic shoes - I recently purchased these shoes in lieu of expensive Nike's for my work outs. The reviews are correct. The shoes are excellent in terms of build quality, comfort, and fit. They broke in quickly and during the process were quite compliant. It's one less thing I need to worry about so I can focus on my training.

Great shoe - I have had so many pairs of these shoes I can't count them all. When a pair gets old, I get the exact same size and they always fit perfectly. I have big, wide paws and wear arch supports, which fit well in these shoes. A roomy toe box with a good outer ridge prevents my big toe from creeping over the side. Will continue to buy these and to order from Zappos.

It’s baaaaack - Since trying this shoe on the basketball court 6 years ago, my foot problems have disappeared. I've been wearing NB ever since. I've tried other brands, and even the NB upgrades to this model (609, 620), however, they never measured up. I'm glad this model is still available thru Zappos. Thanks.

Great look and fit! I bought these shoes for my husband who has long, narrow feet with no arches. He raves about the shoe and feels so much better when he wears them. I'm thankful New Balance makes a great narrow shoe.

Hermes the Winged Messenger! I don't work for Zappos or New Balance. I have no stake in either, and I couldn't care less if they make or lose money. I just want to let you know that I am VERY HAPPY with my third order from Zappos. The shoes? They feel so comfy, so pleasant, and so squishy-happy. I feel like I'm walking on clouds. That's not even the best part. The BEST part is that they arrived five days after I ordered them. PLEASE NOTE: I live on a US military base in JAPAN. The fastest I've ever gotten anything has been 7 working days. These folks from Zappos did it in three. Great shoes, GREAT price, GREAT service=lifelong Zappos customer. That's the brass tacks, sir.

This Girl loves to wear these shoes - When the 8 1/2W female version was not available, I tried these in size 7. They fit even better than female size because of the width across the top of foot and the narrowness I need in the heel. My next pair will be Mens version, not female! Great Aerobics/Cardio class shoe.

Already broken in shoes - Like the shoes, they are already broken in like my others. Third pair of the same type.

Another great fit - My teenage son wears 15 wide shoes. Try finding that in the malls. Zappos not only had his size but a huge variety of styles - important to kids. We were able to try different brands basically risk free since they have free shipping both ways. But we never sent any back because he finally has more than one pair that fits and feels good! I really appreciated the free upgraded overnight shipping too.....thanks so much!

Best ever - I have extremely difficult feet. I've had a number of surgeries and also use orthotics. Easy to remove the insole and insert my orthotics. This shoe is the only one that is really comfortable for a long time. Was able to walk comfortably for over a mile this past week -- thanks in part to the New Balance mx608. That's the first time in 10 years I've been able to do so.

Congrats to Zappos again! I wear a men's 7 wide to extra wide. The only place I can get quality shoes that I can actually try on is thru mail order. Zappos customer service is beyond compare. These sneakers fit exceptionally well, are extremely comfortable and I use them for all around walking and tennis. I would definitely purchase them again. I use custom arch supports and the fit great as the insole pops right out.

Buy These for Your Hubby or Boyfriend!! I found out about these shoes from a co-worker who was on his feet all day (stood on a cement floor a majority of the time). I figured he would know what was comfy. Sure enough. I gave these as gifts to a few close friends. They are hooked and won't go back to anything else!

New Balance MX608 - Excellent shoe for daily wear and just kicking around town. I have high arches and this is the best shoe I've found for arch support and cushioning. I wear these shoes 8-10 hours a day and do a lot of walking. This is the third pair I've owned. I am 5'10" 180lbs and I find they last me about a year before wearing out on the inside (especially the lining behind the Achilles’ heel and the cushioning under my arches).

Great shoe for the money. Initially it felt a little narrow in width, but they don't come in "E". Packed them with cloth, rubbed down with saddle soap, drew them up tight and now they fit just fine. Good solid shoe.

I love New Balance anyway, always good arch support. I actually ordered the next size larger than the ones I had bought in a store which I ended up giving away. Now I know. I order the men’s because the medium width is much better than the women's. I am very pleased with what I got!!

Great shoe at a great price! Great shoe! I bought this shoe as a replacement for another New Balance shoe that wore out on me prematurely and I have been nothing short of impressed. I've been wearing these to work every day for almost a month now and they still feel brand new. I must say, I don't use it for its intended purpose (cross training), but it still feels as though it will last a long, long time with regular wear. Unlike the other new balance shoe I bought recently, the material on the inside of this one feels very sturdy and extremely soft, with a great deal of support. And, as always, Zappos has the best customer service in the industry and you can't find these shoes anywhere for a better price. Thanks Zappos!

Great support! I have arthritic feet. The 608 cross trainer provides good support and good cushioning to save my feet from the impacts my walking program imposes. I walk 6 miles a day and these shoes make it like walking on air! Highly recommended for light to medium duty use.
