This model should not be discontinued! The MX608 in black is one fantastic looking cross-trainer. The 4E width of New Balance has always been comfortable for me and this pair did not disappoint. Zappos rules!

Great Shoe - Best way to find a shoe that you look for in all the ads and shoe stores that advertise them but do not have them in your size. Your service was overnight and exactly as I ordered.

Very comfortable - This is my second pair of this shoe and wearing them everyday and being on my feet 8+ hours a day they lasted almost 2 years. They are the most comfortable shoe I have ever had.

Super - This is a great shoe that my husband relies on to teach physical education in daily!! Needless to say, his feet are a priority and this shoe is truly supportive and reliable. A doctor recommended it!!

Hard to fit wide foot - I needed replacement walking shoes about 10 years ago. I have a 10 1/2 x 4E foot. Kohl's was out of the shoes I normally bought and the clerk suggested I try New Balance. I love them and have worn nothing else since. I can take them from the box and they fit like shoes I have worn for several months.

Great Shoes - My second pair. I'll buy another when these wear out.

Sneakers only my husband will wear - I went online seeking New Balance 608's or 609's your company was the only company I could get them from. Also, had them the next day, which was his birthday! It made his day because he couldn't find them in any store. These sneakers are the only ones he likes and would wear. The fit was perfect and is true to size. Thanks again for your great site.

Great shoe and amazing service! My husband needed a new pair of New Balance 608s. His current 608s are well worn. I purchased them at approx. 6:30 pm on a Thursday and lo and behold they appeared on my doorstep Friday before noon. I could hardly believe my eyes. The shoes are great and fit my husband perfectly. Great shoes at a great price! I have wide feet and can only wear New Balance shoes. These are true to size. Although they are a running shoe, I mostly walk in them and they're very comfortable. Recommend!

Former Adidas fan... I have worn Adidas all of my life as they were the only company that made a size 12 running shoe for women that has a very firm arch support. Congrats to New Balance for creating a superior product that so far is showing better craftsmanship than Adidas that wore out before you could break in the shoe and for creating a stylish all together great shoe. I have a "NEW" preferred running shoe after a 30-year allegiance to Adidas.

As Usual - A Great New Balance Shoe - I've got a "weird" foot - 7-1/2 4E so it's tough to find shoes for me. New Balance is about the only walking/running/cross training shoe I can wear comfortably. New Balance seems too be very predictable relative to sizing. I've never had a problem with length or width - I buy the same size regardless of shoe (from New Balance). Zappos' shipping performance is great. The price performance guarantee insures that you will pay no more than the lowest price if you take time to shop.

Good General Shoe - This is my second pair and I would readily buy the 608 again. It does take some breaking in, especially in the width, which is a small drawback for an athletic shoe.

THE BEST! LOVE these shoes!!! I have them in black for work (recommended for anyone in F&B who have to wear black). I also have them in white. Extremely comfortable and long lasting! 5 STARS! I order them a little wide and seem to fit more comfortably.

Big Wide Foot - My husband has the hardest time finding shoes to fit his feet. He has a bone spur on top of his foot that requires a special shoe.
