Half a size too big it seems. Also they cut into your shins a bit, plan on wearing thick socks till they’re broken in. Good looking shoe but not comfortable enough.

Great style and color but order 1/2 size up. I've worn a 10.5 for 30 years but this style runs large. I have two pairs of Wallabies and they run true to size.

Clark's Desert Boots (not my first pair) fit comfortably, look great, and are priced right. I also have the oiled leather version with which I'm also pleased.

Overall these are pretty nice and comfortable shoes for everyday commute to the office.

I wear size 9m dress/casual loafers and size 11 running Asics and New Balance running shoes. Based on reviews that recommended going down a full size from athletic shoe size, I ordered size 10. Fits perfectly.

Good fit, true to size. A little stiff at first, but they broke in after a few wearings.

Decent shoe for low activity... not a shoe for commuters...

I've owned Clarks desert boots before and ordered a size down, as usual, but even those felt small and I had to return them.

Best boot that I have ever owned. No arch, but that doesn’t bother me. The crepe sole is very flexible, giving, and comfortable. Beautiful leather and classic desert boot style. I wear 9.5 in Vans and the 8.5 Desert boot in Clark’s fit very well. Make sure to order a full size up. Looks great with jeans and khakis. I plan to have these boots for many, many years!

My husband really like the shoes. Very glad with them so far.

I used the sizing tool and entered that I wear Puma. The first pair I received was too large and my heel was slipping constantly. I ended up ordering a 1/2 size smaller. No arch support and these shoes can be tiring. I'll probably purchase some inserts to help cushion the pressure. I like the style and hopefully the suede will age nicely without any stains. Overall a good shoe for the style but I've had more comfortable shoes.

Quintessential desert boots that are versatile for both casual and business casual outfits. Suede material is decent, laces are terrible and snap easily. Unlike another reviewer, I didn't really feel like there was a break-in period given the relatively thin suede, but then again I am used to breaking in work boots like Red Wings and Wolverines. Make sure to size down half from your measured Brannock size as these do run big.

I will not review the Clark's Desert Boot because I chose another shoe. However, I will weigh in on the size. I wear a 9.5-D in nearly everything. But I took the advice of other readers and bought pairs that were a half size (9) and a full size (8.5) smaller. When I tried on the 9, it felt like, well, a 9. I wound up ordering the 9.5 that I should've ordered in the first place. It was a tad tight, but probably the best choice for me and would've loosened up. Guys, I don't know what other makers are exaggerating your shoe size, but these shoes are true to size.

This shoe offers a lot of versatility with outfits. I bought the beeswax version. They definitely take a couple of wears before they feel comfortable and they need to be maintained with a good leather cleaner, but overall very satisfied with the look.

I bought these for my husband. He likes the style of the shoe but says by the end of the day his back is sore from lack of support.

Color is a little grayer and darker than the beige I was hoping for. This is a replacement pair for me. Had soil on a prior pair and they did not clean well at all. Looked terrible, spotty. But will try these. Like the style with skinny jeans.

My only gripe is that they feel longer than I expected in the size that I got, but the width matches up with what I expected. I'm afraid if I went a size smaller that they would be too narrow, and I certainly don't need a wide shoe, either. Otherwise, these feel very good quality-wise. They're much thicker than I thought they would be (the thickness of the leather material). I had a similar pair of low Clark's that are the exact same look but shorter and cut at the ankle, and they are a cheaper quality. I can really see the difference in quality. Not sure if these are going to be good for the warmer months since they are so thick and heavy, I think my feet are going to get hot.

I have owned several pairs of these. My only complaint is that the laces alway break and the soles don't last long.

I ordered the brown suede and really love these shoes. I work in a very casual office and these shoes work wear with the jeans or canvas pants I generally wear. They're very comfortable when I take short walks around the block. No complaints and I'd order them again.

Really nice shoe overall. Would have been five stars across the board, but I think this style could use one more set of lace holes. They don't feel completely secure as the laces stop a bit low on the foot. Takes a bit of getting used too. Otherwise very comfortable in terms of sole support and flexibility. But they are great looking and good style for casual and more dressy occasions.

I get compliments on this shoe often. Unfortunately, there is lining stitched into the insole which on my pair, started to come undone after only 6 weeks. If it were easy to replace the insole, that would not be that big of a deal. Zappos replaced my pair so I'm hoping it was just defective merchandise.

Great looking shoe. Takes about a week to break in though but gets very comfortable. I wear a 10 in Nike running shoes and the 9 in this shoe fits perfect.

These are somewhat loose-fitting even with thick socks, but they look great and are pretty comfortable once you get used to the fit.

The brown is not like what is pictured. These shoes are a really really dark brown. I was hoping for a little more of a faded or distressed brown like what was pictured. Still, everyone should own at least one pair of desert boots. I wear an 11 in Nike, and a 10.5 in everything else. I buy these in 9.5
