These are a true classic. The crepe sole is as comfortable as it gets, and the footbed inside the shoe conforms to your foot over time for a perfect fit. Great with khakis or jeans.

I bought these for my husband. They are heavier than the Bass desert boots I also bought, but he likes them just as much. Says they are quite comfortable and they do look great.

Great boots, I wear them with khaki's or jeans and get a lot of love. They are comfortable for hanging out, but keep it under a mile or so at a time. I ordered 1/2 size smaller than what I actually am...and I think I could have possibly gone a full size smaller, but I like a little room...so I'm happy.

Very happy with this shoe. Bought it for the fall and early winter. The beeswax leather is holding up very well. I treated them twice with Chelsea leather food, which has waterproofed them very nicely. They are becoming more comfortable every time I wear them. They do run a little big--I normally wear an 11.5 and I bought these in an 11 and they are still slightly roomy with ski socks on.

The taupe color is sort of a grayish brown and look nice with jeans. I normally wear a 12.5 in Nike and Asics but wear 11.5 in these.

I love these boots, they go well with anything. They take about a week or two to break them in, but once you do they're very comfortable. My only complaint is that when wet on tile or cement surfaces you have no traction at all. This isn't a huge deal, but I always wear these when it's raining so I've narrowly avoided falling multiple times. Still my favorite boots though!

I just love these shoes. I've been wearing them since I was a kid. My all-time favorites. One thing to keep in mind is there is zero arch support. I use an insert, and its fine. I mention this because not all shoes will work well with an arch-support insert. In any event, I still love these shoes, and will buy them as long as Clarks keep making them.

Boy do I love this boot. I've been wearing them more than normal trying to break them in and I am appreciating them more and more each time I put them on. They're simplistic, modest, but of such nice quality and workmanship, they are going to last for years!

Great shoe! As many people have mentioned, these take a while to break in! Things to remember/consider: Take a while to break in. Order a size down (from your regular size).

I truly love these boots. Classic style that can be dressed up for a night out or be very casual while comfy. As they do have little arch support, they can cause some discomfort doing heavy walking for, say a all day trek, but for normal day-to-day wear they are a treat for my feet as is (no insoles needed). I purchased the Taupe Distressed color and was disappointed to see the actual boots are substantially lighter than they appeared on my computer screen (more of a Sand color), but I loved the feel of the boots so much, I refused to let them out of my grasp.

Love these boots! Been wearing Clarks Desert Boots since I was a kid in the 70's. They look sweet and feel very comfortable. Go for it! Trust me!

My so is a super fan of these shoes. They are comfy and keep their suede nicely. There was basically no break-in period. I recommend buying a suede brush to keep them nice in the tan color. These look great with dark wash jeans. Now I'm trying to convince him not to buy it in three additional colors.

Awesome boot. These boots go with everything and are very comfortable to wear all day. I always receive compliments on the boots!

Nice shoes for style. Ok for comfort at work. Not great for long walks. The soles will get DIRTY and you can't clean them.

I absolutely love the look of these and I get a lot of compliments on them. They're pretty comfortable, but I have 4 things to take note of: 1) They lace at an odd spot. Maybe it's just the shape of my foot, but it puts too much pressure on the top of my foot and can hurt a little at the end of the day. 2) The color of the beeswax in Zappos' photos is way off. I actually much prefer the real color of them. They're a medium brown, rich in color. 3) The crepe sole gets really gross fast. It sops up dirt really fast, deep into the sole and its sticky surface grabs dust and hair like crazy. 4) One of the laces snapped in half after having them for 2 weeks. Not what I'd expect with pricey shoes. Despite these issues, I love them. Highly recommended!

I got these shoes in and I am glad I read the reviews, I ordered a half size smaller than I normally wear and they fit perfect. Just wear some thick socks the first times while they break in.

After breaking these in for about a week, they're some of the comfiest shoes I own. Make sure to apply some sort of suede protector though, as they'll stain with but a glance from a drop of water.

These boots are excellent! I was hesitant to get them due to the price. However, you get what you pay for. Obviously, excellent quality and comfort is pretty good once broken in. They are extremely stylish and will go with just about anything. You can dress them up, or you can dress them down. A very versatile shoe that I will be wearing for a long time to come.

I've only worn the shoes a total of 3 days now, which isn't enough time to make for an entirely thorough review. That being said, I think they are durable, comfortable, and look great. I ordered about a half size smaller than my normal shoe size.

These boots are amazing, stylish and extremely comfortable. They are definitely going to catch everyone's attention. I don't like the sole material too much, it is too weak and seems to be wearing out rather quickly.
