I had one other pair of these sandals and they felt wonderful from the moment I put them on and they have served me well for several years. The new ones I ordered are different in fit, tho they look exactly the same. They are somewhat shorter and are uncomfortable in spots. I am disappointed.

These sandals are very pretty and just the style I wanted, but I had a similar pair from a few years ago that were of much better quality than these are. The leather is skimpy and the straps could be longer to adjust fit better. They must be made by a different vendor, certainly not Clark's quality. I will keep them for a long cruise I am going on, but I'm sure they won't hold up to hard wear like my last pair. Too bad, would have ordered more colors.

Dittos to the other posters. I have worn (out) Clarks Sunbeat for years...until a few years ago they discontinued size 13. I scoured the internet to find the last ones out there. I even had my old ones re-soled. So, I am very disappointed with Clarks as the other have said. Too bad for them, and us.

Because the back strap is not adjustable as in previous years, the foot is pushed forward over the front of the shoe. The back strap needs to be adjustable.

The heel straps force your foot way too far forward! These same shoes do not fit the same. Bring back the longer heel strap and let the foot sit into the shoe where it belongs!

I was very disappointed in this sandal. I have worn this style for many years I ordered the same shoe in Mushroom and it was so very comfortable from the first wearing that I immediately ordered the Navy. I didn't try them on as I knew the other pair was great, big mistake! First wearing 10 days ago and they are miserably uncomfortable, the nubuck is harsh and rough to the foot. Unfortunately I cannot find the packing slip so I will just have to hope they soften up with wearing or put them in a dumpster. Not what I expected from Clarks.

This is my second pair. I loved the first pair, but the lining of the sole on this one makes my feet so hot it is too uncomfortable to wear.

I've owned many pairs of Clark Sunbeats for many years. I keep buying them again, because they are very adjustable, so I can get the fit just right. I usually wear them all summer for 2 or 3 summers. The pair I bought last year did not hold up nearly as well as the older ones I am still wearing from 3 years ago. Mainly, the lining on the sole started lifting from both the top and the bottom. As others have said, the quality of Clarks have gone way downhill.

Have worn the predecessor of this shoe for years. Previously it had an adjustable back strap and the front straps were not angled. It was a great fit. The angle of the straps do not work for my feet and the back hangs loose, giving poor support for walking.

I have worn this sandal for years and agree with reviewers who say the quality has suffered. Especially the insoles, which develop an awful odor! Won't order any more until Clark's goes back to their original quality.

I bought a pair of Nubuck sandals several years ago and the quality of the pair I bought in the spring of 2011 does not compare. They are still the comfy sandals I love, but already threads have come loose and the insole is lifting up in the back after only wearing them 4 or 5 times. I wish I would not have worn out the ones I bought several years ago - they were great!

Oh, what a major disappointment. Almost every shoe in my closet is a Clarks, but for the last few years, the quality of the product has gone straight downhill. These are going back.

I have lived in these sandals for many summers, but, unfortunately, this pair was a disappointment and must be returned. I ordered W vs my usual M following foot surgery. They seemed no wider than my others, and I don't think they are after carefully comparing this pair to an almost new pair in my "collection." My old ones were made in Italy and maybe other places; these are made in China, so perhaps the sizing was adjusted when the sourcing changed. The quality didn't seem as high either. And with this particular pair, there is a noticeable manufacturing error. The leather upper was sewn onto the sole in a different position on the R vs the L. (One is more forward than the other.)

Not up to the Clarks standard; very little padding, the rubber from the heel comes over the insole, and is hard & sharp.

I've owned several pairs of this Clarks style and loved and wore them until they fell apart. This is my first purchase in seven years. That shows you the number of pairs I owned. I am so very displeased with what Clarks has done to this style. The workmanship and quality is sub-par to what I accustomed to from Clarks. I'm so tempted to return these. I'll think about for a day or two.

I wear a 2A or 3A and this sandal works for me. It's plain and simple looking for everyday summer use. The footbed has no cushion, so don't be looking for comfort here. Also, it can't take an orthotic. This shoe is a keeper for me solely because it's narrow. I'm looking forward to the day when a cute, narrow sandal is available for women of all ages. Are they really that hard to produce?

Not quite as soft a leather as I had expected and were smaller than I had thought they should be.

I have worn Clarks for many years and love them and will continue buying them. This is the first time I\'ve had any problem at all. The heel strap is loose and not adjustable. I\'ve work them and they\'re OK, but I do feel slippy.

This is my second pair of "Sunbeats". Loved the first pair. This time the leather is very stiff. Still waiting to see if they soften up.

In the past the sandals were made in England, and then Italy. These are made in China and the leather isn\'t as soft and the sizing is different. I previously needed a medium width, but had to return the medium and order a wide. I\'m looking for another sandal to take its place next time I need a sandal.

My Clarks's Sunbeats - I have purchased 6 pair of this shoe. The first three were great; however, the last three pair does not seem to have the same workmanship or quality. They have cut the toe area of the sole shorter which can cause the edge to rub on the bottom of your toes, not as much cushion on inside sole.

DISAPPOINTED - I read so many good reviews about these sandals on this website, so I bought them before my trip to Orlando. I hated the look, and it pinches my right little toe. I have heel spurs and plantar fascitis so was really looking forward for comfortable shoes. They were no better than ordinary sandals, my feet continued to hurt. My feet felt much better in sneakers than these. And also they bleed, now I have these ugly marks of the straps on my feet. I just wanted to share how I felt, so BEWARE.

Disappointed in durability. When I bought these sandals I absolutely fell in love with them for the extreme comfort. They're certainly not the most hip and cute sandal out there, but I suppose I have reached a point in my life where comfort is more important. I've had my pair of sandals for 6 months now, and am extremely disappointed that the soles have suddenly cracked beyond repair. The left shoe is especially bad, the crack is at the ball of the foot and goes from one side of the shoe to the other. I can fold my shoe in half now, if I so chose. Looking at the right shoe, it is starting to do the same thing. I'm facing a dilemma now of whether or not I want to purchase another pair - $60 is a lot to spend if the darn things only last 6 months!

I have been wearing Clarks almost exclusively for at least 10 years. I never hesitated to order them online because the fit was very consistent and, I might add comfortable. The last pair I got was way too tight in my usual size yet my other shoes feel the same. I am reasonably certain my feet did not change. Having heard now that the manufacturing has moved to China it all makes sense. Poor fit is characteristic of all apparel made in China. They apparently don't care what our American size standards are. I will not be buying another pair of Clarks unless I can try them on before purchase.

I ordered my 6th pair of Sunbeats, Previously, they were wonderful in all respects. However, this time, I was disappointed. They changed the design. It looks as though they cheapened the product; the thin covering on the sole beds came lose, first on one shoe and then on the other, causing wrinkles and blisters. I tried to glue them down, but this only made it worse. A fair amount of money went down the drain. I will not order these again.
