Not the most comfortable shoe. Pewter is a pretty color. I bought to match a purse and they look very nice together.

This is a nice casual slide for the warmer days. My feet: I usually wear a size 5.5, sometimes 6. I have crazy high arches, with a normal width in the toe area, but narrow heels. Finding a shoe that fits can be a challenge. I purchased a size 6 in this shoe (no 5.5 in black at the time of my purchase) and it fits just fine. The shoe bed is nicely padded and the slight heel helps give some arch support. (Although I realize now that with my arches, height is good.) The only qualm I have with these shoes is that because the footbed (sole, whatever the bottom of the shoe is called) is a smooth leather, it is comfortable, but can be slippery. During one of my first wears, I had a foot massage and lotions were put on my feet as part of the process. Afterward, I felt like I was sliding around in the shoes. (If you live in a humid climate or have sweaty feet, keep this in mind.) This sliding effect may lessen with more wear, but I don't know yet. Time will tell. Overall, it is comfortable, seems well-constructed and good for the casual days. Just beware of the potentially slippery footbed.

I've owned a cheaper vinyl version of this slipper which was very unattractive but quite comfortable. This version is more attractive and comfortable - more expensive too but looks it. It's a bit stiff but I think I just need to break them in. I'm happy with this purchase.

My first pair of Dormie\'s and I love them. Gold color is great. Needed the WW width and they fit right. A little long for the size though, suggest if between sizes, size down.

These shoes are very comfortable. The soft cushion padding is very nice - I can\'t wait to slip into them at the end of the day! Note that at first they were a bit uncomfortable around the instep but after a week of breaking in with socks- they are great now!

These slippers are a huge hit with my mom. We buy her one pair a year; she wears them constantly and then we buy her a new pair! She loves them.

These shoes are very comfortable, when you first wear them they have a cushion feel. I bought the 9 double wide because I have wide feet. They are perfect. They won’t slide off your feet, and very cute for a slide. I will definitely purchase another pair.

This slipper is excellent. Very light and comfy and has cushioned for support. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars because it's a little narrow on the toe area. I didn't return it because it's comfy enough and doesn't hurt. I think it will eventually break in the longer I wear it.

Daniel Green Dormie Slipper - I have been wearing the Daniel Green Dormie for years. The snakeskin Dormie is not as comfortable. The material is not the greatest when rubbing against the skin. The cushioning of the footbed is not as padded as comfortably as before. I still wear these new slippers, but am not as pleased as with the older Dormies.

Satisfied with the current purchase. I suggest that colors might be expanded to include red, yellow, orange, etc. I would be nice to see a change in design to make them look more like a shoe so that when I step outside my neighbors don't think that I just got out of bed.

Happy I bought slippers - I am usually a 6 1/2, but bought a size 6. The 6 was perfect. This was the first time I bought shoes on the internet and am very happy I did.

I bought these for my mother. I got the champagne snake skin. She loves them. Especially since she was able to get them in wide width.

Good slippers - Love these slippers with one problem . . . the sole bends in the middle when I walk . . . there is no support there and since these are slippers, it is not a major problem . . . took me a while to get used to this but will probably not buy a second pair, will look for another brand. Daniel Green seems to run narrower than indicated-I bought a WW and it is very snug-can't wear socks with them when it gets chilly.

Very nice flats - I have a size 12 shoe and I got these in 12N and they didn't look like water skis at all! They looked really nice. I got them in pewter because I was in a wedding and needed comfy reception shoes. These matched my dress and were perfect. Zappos customer service is outstanding- I ordered these on a Fri night and got them the following afternoon! Kudos to Zappos!

Slightly new style - The insole is now more of a 'Pillow Top' style, there is no stitching around the inner edge as shown in the photograph. The material seems a little different, as well, less like leather, and more like some sort of vinyl. But it is a classic slipper, and still comes in narrow width, so it will stay on my skinny size nine AA feet. This is still, to me, what a slipper should be. But the old style was better!

Not as good as the last pair - This is my 4th pair of Daniel Green Dormies. This pairs lacks the stitching around the insole shown in the picture (stitching seems to eliminate the squishing sound) and seems tighter across the toe area. Overall it doesn't seem as comfortable as the last pair.

Have purchased these slippers previously in a store. This slipper felt slightly wider than others I've had, but overall, I'm satisfied.

Can't quite put my toe on it... I really wanted to love these shoes, they seem really versatile. Ultimately, I just don't find myself drawn to them in the morning... They are a great in between being a casual and a business casual shoe if that's what you're looking for.

Very nice and comfortable. I may buy a pair to stash under my desk at work for "bad foot" days.

Well-made house slipper - I ordered the Daniel Green slipper for the first time and I can see why they are so popular. It is a good quality slipper that will obviously last a long time. My problem is plantar fasciitis. This slipper does not give enough arch support for that problem. However I plan to keep them and use on a limited basis. For any one with a normal foot I would highly recommend it.

I have been wearing Daniel Green slippers for over 30 years, nothing else to compare. However, I would prefer a leather sole as in the distant past as I find the current material used in the slipper can sometimes be dangerous, especially on a rug. It seems the sole catches and I almost trip because of it so I'm extra careful. Otherwise, the slipper is great.

My mother LOVES these! Love the sizes!! I ordered a pair of these for my mother for Christmas--she has worn them forever and loves the comfort and that they fit her narrow foot. I decided to try a pair, as I have been wearing flip-flops in the house, and probably need more support for my poor feet. I usually wear a 10 narrow, but had to send them back for the 10 slim. They are comfortable, but I think they age me! I wish Daniel Greene made this shoe in a thong sandal style--something a little cuter. I look like my mother, but my feet don't hurt!

Daniel Green slippers-Dormie - I have worn Daniel Green slippers for years and was able to order the same style I have worn at Zappos. I ordered the size I usually wear but they were too large. I sent them back, ordered the next 1/2 size down and they were fine. It's so easy to return at Zappos and great that you don't have to pay postage. A word to the wise that these slippers seem to run large.
