I was really excited about these shoes for work, love Softwalk brand. I was very disappointed though. These shoes ran narrow and they squashed the top of my foot.

Love the look of this shoe, but it runs very short and very narrow. I had to return my first pair and am hoping that a full size up and extra width will make it perfect.

Comfort for work -
I desperately needed a comfortable shoe for work where I walk about 26 flights of stairs, with lots of walking in between, every day. These shoes needed no break-in period and were comfortable from the start. At the end of a long, long day, I may feel slightly uncomfortable in the ball of the foot, but overall, there is plenty of padding everywhere you can imagine. They are rather warm, so I'm not certain how they will do once the warm weather hit, but they are great for at least 3 seasons. They sort of look like a slipper, but I'm more into comfort at work than style.

Excellent from the first wear!
Received shoes Tuesday night, wore them 14 hours on Wednesday. No break in needed. Looser in the heel then I wanted, but if you can live with that a great shoe. It feels weird the first time you put your foot on the 'egg-crate' but you forget that immediately. I waited for Zappos to get these in my size 12; but well worth the wait. Customer Service and Delivery always WAY BEYOND the expected.

These shoes are great to wear with capris or with long pants. However, I am still having to break in these shoes. As the other reviews claim, the top arch of the shoe is a bit tight and the top of my foot feels bruised and sore after each wear. I don't have wide feet or a high arch so for those that do, be aware of this design.

SoftWalk's Adora - Like a Cloud -
Adora is the 2nd style from SoftWalk that I have purchased (I also have the Jupiter). I am hard to fit, Size 10, usually a AAAA, with a 6A heel. The Adora is a little bit big, because I had to order a AAA width, but I put heel inserts in them to be able to wear them. I couldn't BEAR the thought of sending them back. I really have fallen in love with this shoe manufacturer. I hope they will continue to develop new styles in my size.

Kinda Cute...Not As Comfy As I Had Hoped -
The style is cute for a "comfortable" shoe, but the stitching and thickness across the top of the shoe made it uncomfortable for me. Perhaps these are the type that need to be broken in, but I was looking for happiness out of the box. The insole is nice and soft, but for me, it did not provide enough arch support. I have very wide, flat feet with thin heels, so buying shoes is very hard task. I found my usual size in a WW width was a good length. The width was ok if I wore stockings, not socks. The quality of the leather is very nice. I wish they would have worked for me!

This shoe is very comfortable as far as the cusion of the sole, however the top rounded portion rubs across the top of the foot. I returned the shoe for that reason.

I loved these shoes. Simple yet handsome. I had to return them, however, because the shoe was too narrow and I could not even slip my foot into the shoe.

The top of the shoe was tight and uncomfortable and there was no arch support. The cushioning for the rest of the foot was comfortable enough.

I really wanted these shoes to work since I've been trying to find some clogs to wear at work. They look nice and had a nice cushion in the footbed with an egg crate type material.
Unfortunately, the left and right shoes were not the same size. When I tried these shoes on at home and started walking around, I started getting some pain on the right foot on my back tendon above the heel. For some reason the right shoe pinched in. I thought about trying to wear the shoes longer or stretch them out but decided after a bit of walking to take them off.
I took the shoes off and walked to dinner with some friends. Unfortunately, I left the shoes on long enough I was limping on the way there. After dinner, I limped back home. Unfortunately, even the next morning I woke up with some minor pain, although it went away.
What can I say, 1 star comfort on a shoe that caused that much pain after a short wear. You may say "why wear them" if it hurt that bad, but the pain didn't start out from the moment I put them on. It was also odd that it only hurt on the right side, so both shoes were not made the same.

These shoes are very comfortable; however, I prefer a heel on my softwalks. I won't order a flat again.

I just started size 9. My toes touched the end of the shoe I must say they are not true to size 9 but maybe to an 8½. I had to return them.
I'd also recommend:

Well, I am keeping these, but I am still a little mad about it. I bought these not because I was in love with the style (though, for this type of shoe they do look pretty good -- not a clunky shoe at all) but because I thought they would be super comfy and mainly because it said they had a removable footbed that I could put my own orthotics in. I need to do this for any shoe I am wearing a lot. Well, the insole is removable -- in the same way any insole is removable -- that is, you can rip it out and find a rough bottom to the insole under the egg crate insole, and I can put my orthotics on that. I couldn't believe they were falsely advertised, so I persisted and pulled out the insole. Luckily for me, they were comfy once I had my own orthotic in. And for someone who doesn't need an orthotic they would be quite cushy, I think. Also, on the pro side, I have the dreaded long second toe, and the toe box accommodates my long toes quite nicely. However, if you are planning to remove the insole to put in your own orthotic, buy a pair of gel insoles and then rip away. But it's not good to pay top dollar for a good pair of shoes and have to rip them up right away. Removable insoles? Not!

Loved the fit, but the 'leather' on the top of the shoe wore off...it keeps peeling. Embarrassed to wear them. Looks hideous.

I was trying to find a replacement for my arcidpedicos style that is no longer made. These were a bit long in the back half; I'd say they felt about 1/2 size too big. Also, the front upper was very short, so when I wore my jeans with them, about 3 to 4 inches of sock showed, so it wasn't a very 'flowing' look. On the plus side, they are extremely light in weight. Due to the sock showing in such abundance; however, these will be sent back.

I have owned these shoes a little over a year. I only wear them in the winter and only when I go out, which is not that often. I just noticed the top part just split. Very disappointed. They are very comfy shoes and I hope they still have them and bet Zappos will replace them for me if they do!

Best shoe I've ever had -
This shoe I got in a cranberry suade. I have had back trouble and difficulty with heals breaking down. I've worn this shoe for two years non stop all winter. The heals are barely worn. The shoe is still a terriffic support. Wish I could find another pair of the cranberry. You can't go wrong with this shoe.

They feel great, look bad.
These are without a doubt very comfortable shoes however, they are very orthopedic looking. They are not to be worn for the purpose of making a fashion statement!

Higher expectations based on reviews I read...
I was expecting supreme comfort after reading all the reviews. Instead, the shoes are too big in places, too tight at the toes (because of the all the way to the front thick cushion), and, when I wear trouser socks, the cushion grabs the socks causing them to bunch up under my feet, and that hurts! I was hoping they'd be terrific, but they simply aren't working for me.

I wear a women’s 11 - 11 1/2 wide, have high arches and plantar fasciitis, and am so tired of wearing nothing but very orthopedic sneakers! Years ago I had a pair of Merrell’s clogs that I loved and wore the heck out of, so with Zappos’ fabulous return policy, I went on a clog quest. Here’s what I ordered, and the results:
1. Softwalk Adora, black, 12W (I know this brand runs smallish)... couldn’t even get my foot in. Of course they’re going back
2. SAS clog SR black 12W (also runs small, but when they fit, I love SAS!) Way too tight across the top of my high arched feet. Going back.
3. Born Nigel clog men’s size 10 1/2 (euro 44.5) brown. Also a little bit tight across the top of the foot, and no noticeable arch support. Going back.
4. Born Nigel clog men’s size 10 1/2, grey (actually a really nice distressed looking grayish tan) surprisingly, these fit better than the brown ones, but still no arch support. Going back. As you might guess, I am getting a little discouraged at this point!
5. Merrell Encore Rexton slide Chill AC+ men’s size 10 1/2, black. Whoo-hoo! Great fit, comfy... still less than great arch support, but I can put in my Superfeet Green insoles and the shoes still fit, so we have a winner!
6. Merrell Encore Rexton slide LTR AC+, also men’s 10 1/2 black, also as comfortable, but darn, why didn’t I order a different color? These look exactly like the Chill, and since winter is coming, I’m keeping the Chills, with their fuzzy lining. These go back.
7. Klogs Naples women’s size 11W brown floral. Wow, these fit too! AND have great arch support. They are stiffer and heavier than the Merrells, plus have a higher heel (not desirable for me... I’m plenty tall!) and are not quite as comfortable... but very close. I’m keeping for now... May decide to send back and get another pair of Merrells, in brown... or may not. The brown floral is quite pretty... and there’s that great arch support...
There you have it... so in case you share my foot size and issues, you don’t have to order all those clogs to find your match!

This shoe has an upper that kind of slopes down from the tip back towards the heel and it meant that the top of the shoe was pushing on the tops of my toes every time I'd pick up my foot. When I put my foot down, it would sink into the pillow and no problems until the next step. I couldn't get them off fast enough.

Felt/looked good for almost 6 months -
I loved the shoe for the first few months. The insole deteriorated rapidly and I don't think it was a hazardous waste kind of thing, as this has never happened before with other shoes. In 6 months the stitching had ripped out at the top edge, outside of the right connection of top to side. The heels wore down within the first few months I wore them, as well. For $99 I expected to get years of wear out of them. Call me idealist, but I once bought a pair of fun, pink Birkenstock rip-offs for $3 at a Rite Aid sale, which I still wear after 8 years! Just this year, the sole began to flap a little. I wore them often. I doubt that I'll see this review on your site, but I hope you have the integrity not to use any part of it without also using the rest.
